Hi, Barry--it's Nicole. I thoroughly enjoyed watching you taste the treats that I sent you. I'm so glad that I gave you the teriyaki chicken chips because the other option was cheese... and this was before I found out that you don't like cheese. I decided to keep that one for myself. Phew, crisis averted because boy, were those chips cheesy! Also, about the umeboshi candy, I told you to suck instead of bite because some of them have a little surprise inside, but you might've already discovered it by now. I showed your video to some Japanese acquaintances and they thought you were hilarious. Thanks for featuring my package of treats and keep the videos coming!
I'm so in love with your channel! The first video I saw was the Brazilian's food and I'm really happy that you liked it and treat it with respect, even the ones you didn't like. Is a shame that no one sent to you a Guaraná Antarctica, is our best drink. Now, I'll watch all of your videos and follow to see the new ones 😊 Thanks again and keep doing the good work 😄
I'm Japanese teen. Thanks for review of popular Japanese snacks. It's very interesting, and your non-stop talking is amazing :) I'm looking forward to next video about my country soon!
I have officially seen every video of every country trying food from another country, yours are by the best so far, their is a lot of humor, but not to much, and in every one of them you are very informative. 🎑
2:50 This product is called Hi-Chew and surprisingly Americans can buy it in most supermarkets in the US. Either in the candy sections or the Japanese/Asian section of the supermarket usually next to the Pocky.
Amazing video as always. I was really hoping that there was going to me some red bean mocha. I bought a box at a World Market near my house and I haven't tried them yet.
I actually found some green tea flavored Kit Kats at a little Chinese candy shop in Alhambra (California) about half an hour from where I live. They even had a Kit Kat that tasted like coffee. Those were mind blowing.
Barry Lewis for a limited time we had Kit-Kat Chunky with peanutbutter in it here in germany...they tasted so awesome...sadly i don't get them no where here in berlin anymore...>.
Barry, I've been waiting for this video :D hahaha, I really enjoyed your reviews on Japanese snacks you are such a funny guy! (a big fan of yours from Japan
New to watching your videos, love your stuff already, and wanting to try alot of these snacks the next time I go to the World Market, for some reason.. craving mexican snacks..
Mikado is the same thing as Pocky, made by the same company. The ones that are marketed in Europe are called Mikado, for some reason. In the USA and Japan, its Pocky. In Malaysia, it's called Rocky. But the contents are all the same :)
Somehow I found this whole video absolutely hilarious! Your humour reminds me of Michael McIntyre at times, particularly where you unwind the little red tab on the packaging! Very entertaining, thanks!
I love green tea kitkats but since I live in the US it takes a while to get a hold of them and they're expensive. If you like green tea they're delicious and I would highly recommend trying them!
You can make those seaweed snacks easily yourself. Buy Sushi Nori sheets, mix whatever oil you want with Sesame oil, put it on the shiny side and sprinkle it with salt. Then roast it in a hot pan, cut it up, done, SO GOOOOD~
Once again, awesome stuff dude! You're helping all of us decide on what to buy and what NOT to buy while in another country. Buuut...I'm too poor to travel.
We had a couple of Japanese exchange students stay with us for a week, they brought some of those Green Tea Kitkats, they were gorgeous! - Shame you can't get those over here in the UK.
Hi, Barry! This is the first time I have ever come across your channel and this video had me laughing so loud and hard! "Urgh, what's that?! Summink just bit me...". I love your energy and humour. Great channel, love the fact that a fellow Brit is doing these review vids. I'm becoming a subby and giving you a thumbs up. Thanks for the laughs and good work, keep it up :) x
Hi where have you ordered your kitkats from? Btw I'm loving your cook book, full of R Kelly moments. Only one recipe i wouldn't try sweet potato soup if your interested. Bleugh.
seasoned nori is very good to eat on its own. really nice chip replacement in my opinion. there's a few different seasonings you can try. and the macha kit kats are the best (to me) but i love green tea so thats just my taste XD
Hey Barry, you should ask Ashens about the fish sausages. He tried two in his 'Japanese Food Special' videos. One was the normal pink fish sausage and the other was white with chunks of cheese in it.
As you romantically feasted upon those Pizza crisps, the song 'Just The Two of Us' popped into my head...I think I'll let you enjoy them by yourselves XD
