Ready to see how you make this system. The more I study this system, I believe it's the ultimate in stealth and safety.

I believe you're right. I'm going to be putting out a video soon where I talk about what goes into the making of this system. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching

Definitely looking forward to your next video. I was ready to reconstruct an outfit from what information I could glean from the existing videos. Thanks so much for sharing!

Great videos Scott, this to me is the best and safest most comfortable climbing methods out there. Each to their own however but you share it well what basically is an age old climbing method with vines from other parts of the world. In that I shoot the bow ambidextrous, I can take a deer or hog from almost any approaching direction. I highly encourage archers to master both left & right hand shooting. This will help you bring home the bacon lol.

Thanks for the great video Scott. I'm on private land with multiple stands setup, but want to get in the mobile areas other members don't access, so just ordered a saddle. Been crazy torn between the Beast Sticks or a rope method of climbing. Would definitely appreciate a video of your full setup

It seems your tether would be long enough to shoot 360. Just hard to get around the tree in the foot stirrups I guess.
Good video. I love that system. I’m going to have to get myself rigged up.

Another reason you may not be able to shoot 360 is that you are on the under side of the tree lean. (At least in the video tree) Even in a soft saddle it’s hard to get around the tree from that side.

All you'd need is a platform and you could shoot 360°

I'm inspired by your set up, Scott. Still haven't rigged mine up yet. By the way, are you on the saddlehunter.com forum???

No I've haven't been on there. But I think I will. By using the two tether system through this hunting season, it has allowed me to work out the flaws out of the system I'm using at this time. Thanks for watching

Scott we would like to see your setup up close with details for what works for you. Each person can then decide for themselves what they want to do. Everyone assumes their own safety of course, but we would rather to look over what you’re happy with so we can have a good idea what’s practical. Some people know little to nothing, and so for example on ropes that you might recommend. People need to know to not try to use just any rope that looks big and strong enough. The right kind of ropes aren’t found at Walmart or other discount stores. Quality aborist climbing ropes aren’t cheap, so would be nice to know more on that and stout hardware.
Thanks if you can shoot us a video like that.

Whats's the rating on your prusik cord?

    • @scottadkins3771

It's 3/8". Right at this time, I'm thinking it's right around 4,000 lbs. But the way it's used, the ropes doubled so that increases it's strength. Thanks for watching
