One would just think to then work around those limitations or find ways to replicate something similar. For the duck jump issue just make maps which don't require it.

God I alwayts loved the aesthetic of Blue Portals. The off-white creme colour was always more comfy to play with than the sterile eeriness of the original facility.
The aesthetic looks so good! The yellow tone that everything has is amazing, the greens and blues used are also really pretty on top of that, the only part I thought didn’t fit were the red ‘fire’ / ‘explosive’ / purple ‘energy physics’ cubes, I thought they were a bit TOO red and purple which looked too bold in colour, other than that, the lovely matching hues were perfect.

With Steam Greenlight (introduced after this video), this could easily come back to be a reality! A single-man project is just too much to bear. Seeing how Portal Stories Mel, Portal 2 Backstock, Aperture Tag, and Thinking with Time Machine are Portal 2 mods available because Steam Greenlight, Blue Portals 2 should be too. Bring it back to life because you got help available to you now.

I'm aware you've cancelled this, but I need to ask about the heat cubes. Were they custom entities, or do you just parent a trigger_multiple to them when they spawn that kills the turrets when they activate it? (Either way, nice job on the custom textures!)
I know you posted a month ago, but you might still want to know. As far as I know, there are triggers attatched to the cubes which cause them to interact with things. That is definitely the case with Blue Portals 1. Custom entities would be very hard to implement since there is no official SDK for the Portal games.
For those who are asking Why did you change the propulsion gel to black? He changes because he wanted to change the color. To make sense? Maybe? Or to make it looks like oil.
The mods are awesome implemented and well done. But they just feel completely redundant and adds too many things to think about that could easily be solved with the tools already available in the base game. I think the only mod I've seen that would really make a huge and interesting difference to the game would be the clingy gel that allows you to walk on walls. It would add another dimension to the gameplay, which presents its own rather difficult challenges, but I'm sure the developers or some really smart people can think of a way to introduce it simply to players while keeping the levels compact, concise and minimal. I think it would be cool if the designers made a DLC pack like that.
Were you using a motion controller for the electricity thing or did you guys figure out how to use the technique used for the Razor motion control DLC?
@DemonEyeOfFire Its on and off. But unlike BP2, its not really a group effort, its more me playing with code, and gameplay. I have not touched it since I made the new system for it, and its apparently broken, lol.

I know very little C++ but Ive seen that most of the things work in C++ and was wondering as to how to do it. Any help would be great. I do understand why you stopped though but still seems like great levels though.

This is amazing!!! It's hard to tell if it is animated or not, but it is defiantly something VALVe should add in if they make Portal 3

There is clearly SO MUCH untapped potential in the portal 2 engine...this is painful to witness.

Are you using hydra controllers? Because that feature of bending and resizing objects was used in the portal 2 DLC
