I'm often asked, "What can I do to help SBSK?" Honestly, the best thing you can do is just be nice to people. Make friendships with those around you. That's the purpose of these interviews. There are kids and adults who feel the same as Autumn all across the world. Some are disabled, some are nondisabled. I hope these videos show that taking the time to be a kind person to others can make a world of difference.
Wow -- she is sooooooo intelligent. I've never seen a 6 year old with such emotional maturity. She's absolutely going to do something big in the world when she's older.
I honestly feel like it has got to be such a curse and maybe also a bit of a blessing, but a fraught blessing, to be forced to grow up so quickly when you are born with a life-altering diagnosis.
This child is ONLY 6 years old? Autumn is amazing!! Bless her. I am humbled at 70 yrs. 👵🏾 Her intelligence and speech is directly attributed to her wonderful parents.
This little girl has more empathy in one pinky finger than most adults have in their whole being. What a sweetheart she is, props to her parents for raising such a loving child. The other kids excluding her are the ones missing out.
What she lacks in her physical self she makes up for in intelligence. What a brilliant child. Baby girl you are a star. You are making me happy from thousands of miles away.☺ go baby girl.
" I'm the cop but I have no robbers." That hurt my soul. Autumn, you are beautiful, kind, gentle and very smart. The world sees you and you have brightened my day. Thank you sweetheart
that's what got me too 🤣 I loved it also 💯💯💯🙌🏻😌🙌🏻 I was like that when I was her age too 😳 I think God gave her ( as well as others similar to her ) a perspective on things on an emotional level that not everyone experiences... if ahe reads this... hunnie....one day you'll realize just how special & wonderful that is 💓 hone in on it & nurture it 🪴 you really do mirror your Momma 💯💯💯🙌🏻😌🙌🏻 I can tell that she's done a wonderful job all bc you want to be just like her 🥰🥹 I just had a newborn baby girl 🫶🏻 about 4 & 1/2 months ago 👶🏻👼🏻🍼🐣🐤🐥🌈✨🤍💓❣️Drs said I'd never be a Mom... but God decided I would be one anyway !!! 🙌🏻😌🙌🏻💯💯💯 & even though I've spent 20 years being a Nanny... I'm now just beginning my journey of motherhood & I hope & pray that I can be just as good a Momma as we can tell your Mom has been to you 🥹 y'all have a very beautiful exemplary Mother/Daughter relationship!! I pray for you & your family ❤ & I'd be proud to call you friend 🦚 GBY 🙏🏻🕊️🙏🏻
Autum, I had a friend who was born with Osteogenesis imperfecta. She was adorable just like you are. I was so lucky to get to carry my friend Sally around and she and I would laugh and laugh being silly. When she grew up she eventually learned to walk with crutches. Then she learned to drive a car and after getting a college degree she got a job and moved into her own apartment. As she got older,, her bones became less fragile so she had less to fear. I hope you find good friends. Stay silly You will find silly friends that way.
That was my best part I had already commented but when she said that it's a lot harder than she thought her homework is hard and she can't find her little toys just had me just tickled pink
Absolutely precious. She and her family will be in my prayers. I want her to be the happiest kid in the world. So intelligent and mature at only 6 yrs old. 🙏❤️
“It’s not about how you look, it’s how you’re kind and how you think about people” This girl has been through so much but each and every set back has made her so so strong.
SHES SIX? she is more well spoken than i am and im 19. and the way she’s so down to earth and sees things as they are is insane for her age. what an amazing kid!
My daughter is friends with Autumn, but we live out of state. Autumn is an amazing, sweet, smart little girl. I’m so proud of her for sharing her authentic feelings and advocating for herself.
When she said “Some people don’t let me play because of the way I am” made me so mad. She’s such a sweet heart, she’s adorable, and I would love to be her friend 💗
I believe this as well no matter the way you are you ARE allowed to play if you want to. You don’t have to listen to anybody or anything somebody tells you. Nobody decides what you do. This breaks my heart she’s going through this, but she’s going through it strong. She is beautiful, smart, and very kind. She deserves the world with the amount of kindness in her heart.❤️
"I did my job" there's something so wonderful in that statement, what beautiful souls. Autumn and her parents are lucky to have each other! Love from France ❤❤
This vocabulary at age 6 is INCREDIBLE..... I am just beyond mindblown and my heart is stolen by this wonderful joyful little girl!!!! I hope someday years later we get update about her!!!
Her classmates need to understand how to play with her which means the teachers need to be a part of teaching social skills when it comes to those who appear different from themselves. Friendships are built on common ground. 6 year olds need prompting and understanding how to make a friends. My impression from this video is that Autumn is left to letting friendships happen vs guiding her and her classmates to create friendships. Autumn is the sweetest little girl and I wish her the best. I can see where she’d fear the world considering how her bones fracture so easily. Despite her challenges she’s got what it takes to grow up and be a happy adult, her parents will make sure of it ❤
Same thing I was thinking. My 6 and 5 year olds will play with any kid. They are watching with me and were saying that would be so fun to be pulled over by Cop Autum. ❤
I agree 100%. Especially at that age, adults need to help facilitate play. My son is 5 and autistic and it makes me sad when other little kids don't want to play with him. So, I always try and help him make friends 😊
Yesss I was just saying this in my comment on this video! I am a mom to a special needs child myself. She is 6 on November 11th and in senior kindergarden. She has autism. Although she is verbal. She lacks normal social skills and has a hard time keeping conversation going. Etc. I WISH that the teachers would take the opportunity when my child is absent for appntmnts to have an age appropriate conversation where they could let the kids know what's going on with my daughter and that she needs to be invited in and needs extra help sometimes etc. Maybe the kids could ask questions any of them have about her. Last year the kids in my daughter's class would sometimes ask me about her. And I didn't take offense to it. I would answer their questions with a smile no matter what they were.. a few of them told me she's really cute. And that they love her. She would come home with pictures drawn for her by classmates. And this year I don't know what happened... same teacher. Some of the same students... but she's just getting bullied this year. It hurts my heart.
@@mawmawmakeup3602 Oh no!! She’s getting bullied? 🥲. That’s definitely a symptom of ignorance on the other children’s part. That’s what I’m talking about. At that age the bullying behavior could be an attempt to understand. They need guidance! That breaks my heart because it doesn’t have to be that way. In my opinion, children with challenges like autism and other developmental disorders need their own environment where they can make friends and learn social skills alongside curriculum. There used to be services like that in schools but nowadays children with disabilities are expected to learn alongside non challenged children without the proper resources in place. Where I live there’s an elementary through HS age school that’s focuses on education for those with autism and other disabilities. It’s huge as well as successful and there’s two others that will be fully operational soon. There’s a huge need and I hope that we’ll see more in every state. In the meantime parents will have to advocate for their children even if that means going in a ruffling some feathers to kick things in gear. These children and their families deal with enough.
“I really really wanna be like my mom.” This incredible, beautiful, intelligent, mature loving young lady is so beyond in her years. She puts majority of “adults to shame. Her loving parents have done a fantastic job in raising her. Something most that give birth nowadays don’t do.They are all blessed to have one another. This little one has been here before. She will grow up to do amazing things. So wise beyond her years. Autumn anyone that meets you should consider themselves lucky. You are one special girl!
7:07 “what is it like to be 6 years old?” Autumn: “a lot harder than I thought it would be” that really hit me.. she doesn’t deserve this. Something I love abt her so much is that she’s so happy in the condition she’s in.
Autumn should have an aid at school who can help her get involved with playing with the other kids. Like with hopscotch, it wouldn't be hard to push her wheelchair along the hopscotch markings. I know it's not the same but at least she would be involved in some way. I just feel so sad that she's missing out and feeling excluded. She seems like such a sweet, intelligent young girl and I bet she'd be an amazing friend to those kids. Her parents are doing an amazing job raising her!
She is so cute and have a beautiful heart ❤❤ one thing I know is that our God is able to do all things , if only could seek whole ness through those Apostle like Arome Osayi or Apostle MO I trust she could be made whole by the power of God 🙏 through them.
"I like to play cop and robbers but I realize I'm the cop but I have no robbers". What a sharp sense of reality Autumn! And beautiful eyes in a nice face.
Man I wish I could be 6 years old again so I could go and be her friend. She seems so sweet and she seems like an amazing person. It breaks my heart that kids around her don’t want to be her friend.
She's so very bright and articulate for a 6yr old. It's not easy making friends at any age but she's got what it takes to make a Super Best Friend to someone who actually recognizes what True Friendship really is. You go Girl!
She's such a sweet little doll. It is always so heartbreaking to hear them say they don't have friends or don't have someone at school to play with. I feel very strongly that school staff should get involved and encourage other students to befriend and include those who are different in some way. Explain to them that although maybe she can't run around to play she can still be involved on so many other levels. She can sit with friends to read, color or do puzzles for example... or even just talk.
I work in the school system. It’s not usually the school staff-it’s the parents of the “normal” kids not setting a good example to befriend those that may be a little different and/or probably their parents make fun of people that are different behind closed doors so the kids pick up on it.
I wish she had more ways to get involved at recess. Maybe a bubble maker? Or a little speaker so she could be the dj? Something to draw kids in while keeping her safe
Staff getting involved might work when she's six but would probably repel other kids as they get older . I've always had a hard time making friends and have learned to amuse myself and take it when it comes .
@@celestialcircledance Ah, but if the staff intervenes now while you can still teach the other kids then she may gain friends for life, and further intervention won't be needed
Is this a serious question? Other kids is who... Kids tend to not know how words affect other people and they also don't understand emotional consequences or intelligence. Kids are always the cruelest but they don't know any better and that's why we as adults & parents teach them to be better.
God loves you baby....his ways are not ours....what Satan meant for evil towards u...God will turn around...he has a wonderful plan for ur life...Mom and Dad be strong for her...lovely soul....❤❤❤❤
Oh my sweetheart, I almost cried when she was talking about how she's sad about her friends not wanting to play with her 😢😢 she deserves all the love, she's so intelligent and loving 🥺🥺💗💗
I usually have a hard time watching these because the tears start running... This one wasn't a exception. Such a strong lady... For what she lacks when it comes to her body she makes up in love kindness and caring. ❤❤❤❤❤❤ I wish you the best
I have O.I like her, not the same type but I love my x-ray techs. I’ve have had a few that were.. not as nice lol. It definitely makes it easier to sit there in pain when the tech is as nice and comforting!
I'm in school for this, and same. She's absolutely perfect. Smart, well-spoken, empathic, and so unfairly socially isolated. I absolutely love her. I'd be honored to even spend 5 minutes with her.
She is the sweetest little adult kid I’ve ever seen 😂😂 speaking in metaphors, talking about feelings, going “whoof 🙄” when talking about how much time she spends in the hospital. So funny. I’ll play cops and robbers with Autumn any day ❤
I love the unbridled joy Chris brings to some of the children featured on SBSK. It’s already hard growing up and feeling different when you are able bodied, but so many of us have it a lot better than we know. Thank you, Chris 🧡
What a beautiful child! I have no doubt she will have many friends throughout her life. I could not resist laughing when she laughed and I was taken in by her funny, silly, charming personality! She is blessed with many gifts to take on these challenges as well as having the love and support of a strong, loving family. May God bless them all on her journey into adulthood.
i’ve got osteogenesis imperfecta type 1, broken something like 30 bones in my life at the age of 25, comparatively lucky to a lot of others with the diagnoses. glad to see someone with such a positive outlook and mindset despite her circumstances at such a young age.
Absolutely the sweetest, smartest 6 year old I've ever seen. She's been through so much, when she talks about her fractures so nonchalantly, it breaks my heart. Such an empathetic and nice person, and her parents seem amazing.
I have been watching for years and years and Autumn is 100% my favorite person you have interviewed. She stole my heart. Autumn’s parents, if you see this, PLEASE tell Autumn how sweet, precious, SMART, funny, strong she is. When she gets older and the other kids catch up to where she is maturity wise, it will be easier to connect with people and find her place socially. let her know how LOVED she is by so many of us around the world. And please let me send baby girl a kitchen set!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This young lady is brilliant. Her speech and language development is awesome. I 🙏🏽 that many opportunities open to her to use her big heart and intellectual genius in the service of humanity. May a cure be found for this devastating physical disorder.
She is remarkably well spoken and good natured. I’m glad she has her parents and her parents have her. What a beautiful family. Thank you for letting us get to know this wonderful little girl.
My daughter has osteogenesis type 3. She's 16. Around the time she was born. There were only five types. Now they have 15. My baby for the first time just had surgery to straighten her limbs cuz the bones are too brittle to ever get rods so hopefully she'll be able to walk this year. The legs are straight and now she's in her braces. In a couple more weeks. They're going to start applying pressure to the limbs through physical therapy. And she's never walked ever before in her life. This baby reminds me of my baby 🥰🥰🥰

Such a little girl with the biggest heart I've ever seen She's made my day 😢❤ I'm looking out for the great things She's gonna bring to this world Go girl🎉🎉🎉
I've noticed something great about this channel. It's that first and foremost, the videos are about the kid. The first big chunk is about their personality and family, rather than jumping straight into their disabilities or whatever else. Love this 🫶
This little girl is a beautiful angel, I would be her friend in a heartbeat...it makes me so very sad knowing she just rides her wheelchair alone at recess and no one will play with her. Shame on them.
Wow she is sweet and lovely kid , her parents must be proud of her , ❤❤❤ l love it the way she talk everything that make her cry or Lough , please everybody must be happy with everyone around the way they are, thank you, love from Rwanda Kigali ❤
This girl. Oh man. Wise beyond her years. But still a 6-year old at heart. This really broke my heart to watch for some reason! She's kinder and more intelligent than many adults. I'd be proud and happy to be her friend. Her parents have done a tremendous job!
Before she said her age, she'd spoken quite a lot and I just assumed she was a teenager with some disability. Imagine my shock at hearing her say she's 6. What in the world!!!!!!!!! 😮😮😮 How such emotional maturity, thoughtfulness and articulation reside in the body of a 6-year old leaves me astounded. Autumn, you're a ray of sunshine. Your smile adds to the brightness of the world. You're a star!!!!!!
“It’s not how you look, it’s how you’re kind and how you think about people” such an adorable and intelligent young girl😍for a 6yo, she’s so emotionally intelligent👌and what I love about you Autumn the most is your laughter😀😃😃😄😄😆so cute😍
Oh my goodness she such a sweet sweet child. And her intellect for a six year old is through the roof!!! She's been here before... You're in my prayer sweetie ❤🙏

I’m 24 and I’d be her friend! She’s so well spoken and kind!
I AGREE
Me too🥹
When I watched this, I realized that she may be very small and fragile, but she’s a mighty heart and is a great person.
This girl is amazing! Very intelligent for a 6yr old.
What a beautiful soul!!
Wow. She is. You sound so lovely 🌹❤️
Where are you from?
Chris is so good at finding the level. Also ‘being six is a lot harder than I thought it be’ is so real.
Her parents are doing an amazing job raising her!
right? it sounds like the school is failing her
She is so cute and have a beautiful heart ❤❤ one thing I know is that our God is able to do all things , if only could seek whole ness through those Apostle like Arome Osayi or Apostle MO I trust she could be made whole by the power of God 🙏 through them.
She is such a sweetheart we believe in a miracle workers she will be the strongest gal , love her already
She is the most precious thing ever!
I know right? What do you think about her?
"I like to play cop and robbers but I realize I'm the cop but I have no robbers". What a sharp sense of reality Autumn! And beautiful eyes in a nice face.
Man I wish I could be 6 years old again so I could go and be her friend. She seems so sweet and she seems like an amazing person. It breaks my heart that kids around her don’t want to be her friend.
God bless this beautiful child! 🙏
She is the most well spoken 6 year old I have ever heard. What an intelligent, sweet, beautiful girl. Never change. Autumn!
❤❤❤🤗
You can see just how loved she is by how she speaks about her family. Every child deserves parents like hers.
She just made me realize my complaints are just nuts...she is beautiful and a blessed and joyful kid
Oh what an intelligent, beautiful kid ,with so much to give
She's so very bright and articulate for a 6yr old. It's not easy making friends at any age but she's got what it takes to make a Super Best Friend to someone who actually recognizes what True Friendship really is. You go Girl!
Absolutely, well said !!! 👍
4:47 She looks so happy when he said "I wanna be your friend." OMG I hope she finds LOTS AND LOTS of friends and she lives a happy life!!!
She is awesome, and so adorable ❤, she's beautiful, smart, and courageous, and above, her smile is beautiful ❤
@@StaysAndStories it is better to get them early. I hope you're right!
who in the hell would make fun of disabled child your a monster god bless you kid keep smiling
Is this a serious question? Other kids is who... Kids tend to not know how words affect other people and they also don't understand emotional consequences or intelligence. Kids are always the cruelest but they don't know any better and that's why we as adults & parents teach them to be better.
Sadly, many people including older teens, young adults, and supposedly mature adults.
You would be surprised, I use to take care of a disabled child who was a literally Angel and the looks some adults gave him broke my heart.
God loves you baby....his ways are not ours....what Satan meant for evil towards u...God will turn around...he has a wonderful plan for ur life...Mom and Dad be strong for her...lovely soul....❤❤❤❤
@@enidmaximea9338why can't god just get rid of satan so that she doesn't have to right the things satan does wrong
Oh my sweetheart, I almost cried when she was talking about how she's sad about her friends not wanting to play with her 😢😢 she deserves all the love, she's so intelligent and loving 🥺🥺💗💗
SHE'S SO ADORABLE what a sweet soul
Fr
I usually have a hard time watching these because the tears start running... This one wasn't a exception. Such a strong lady... For what she lacks when it comes to her body she makes up in love kindness and caring. ❤❤❤❤❤❤ I wish you the best
I’m an X-Ray technologist and I’d be honored to take her x-rays. She is precious and well spoken.
I have O.I like her, not the same type but I love my x-ray techs. I’ve have had a few that were.. not as nice lol. It definitely makes it easier to sit there in pain when the tech is as nice and comforting!
@@BrookeKatherine. Nice to hear from you.
I'm in school for this, and same.
She's absolutely perfect. Smart, well-spoken, empathic, and so unfairly socially isolated.
I absolutely love her. I'd be honored to even spend 5 minutes with her.
@@Mothman_In_a_T-Pose Great Career choice.
I’ve been a Technologist since ‘94
She is the sweetest little adult kid I’ve ever seen 😂😂 speaking in metaphors, talking about feelings, going “whoof 🙄” when talking about how much time she spends in the hospital. So funny. I’ll play cops and robbers with Autumn any day ❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😢😢😢😢😢😊😊😊
She’s darling! So smart & insightful! I wish her & her family all the very best !💕
This young girl is very smart. She speaks with grace. Her soul is awake.
Woah! Her speech is amazing, what a beautiful, smart child ❤
Absolutely the sweetest, smartest 6 year old I've ever seen. She's been through so much, when she talks about her fractures so nonchalantly, it breaks my heart. Such an empathetic and nice person, and her parents seem amazing.
This child is exceptional. She’s beautiful and so smart! Love her!
She's only 6? She speaks as if she is much older! She's so articulate and expresses herself so well. You're amazing, Autumn!
She's so sweet, beautiful and intelligent. May God Almighty give her a strong heart and long life❤❤❤❤
What a delightful child, she will go far ❤
I have been watching for years and years and Autumn is 100% my favorite person you have interviewed. She stole my heart. Autumn’s parents, if you see this, PLEASE tell Autumn how sweet, precious, SMART, funny, strong she is. When she gets older and the other kids catch up to where she is maturity wise, it will be easier to connect with people and find her place socially. let her know how LOVED she is by so many of us around the world. And please let me send baby girl a kitchen set!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Soon as she said she would change the sadness in the world to make it happy i started crying, she's such a sweet girl. God bless her 🙏🏽
This young lady is brilliant. Her speech and language development is awesome. I 🙏🏽 that many opportunities open to her to use her big heart and intellectual genius in the service of humanity. May a cure be found for this devastating physical disorder.
I'm a big burly guy and Autumn made me cry! her families spirit is what we all need more of! God Bless you one and all.
6 years old? She looks so smart and intelligent for her age. God bless you Autumn!
She is remarkably well spoken and good natured. I’m glad she has her parents and her parents have her. What a beautiful family. Thank you for letting us get to know this wonderful little girl.
She's so beautiful and very intelligent. Just watched from Ghana
Aww so glad to hear she’s gotten her rodding surgery praying for a speedy recovery
Здравствуйте! Я из России и у меня тоже остиогинез , были переломы , мне 40 лет . Зовут Наталья! Передавайте привет своему ребёнку! Желаю ей здоровья! Хотелось бы общаться !

That makes me want to cry tears of joy. My heart hurts for children and parents who must fo through such difficulties. My prayers are with your daughter.
That’s so awesome. Hope your daughter is doing well now and has been able to start walking. She sounds like an amazing young woman.
My precious girl!!!! You're awesome!!!!!!
Autumn is one of the most articulate 6 year olds I've heard! What a sweet little girl❤
Such a little girl with the biggest heart I've ever seen
She's made my day 😢❤
I'm looking out for the great things She's gonna bring to this world
Go girl🎉🎉🎉
I've noticed something great about this channel. It's that first and foremost, the videos are about the kid. The first big chunk is about their personality and family, rather than jumping straight into their disabilities or whatever else.
Love this 🫶
This child is an Absolute gift to this world, God Bless her and her Awesome family!!!!
She is so intelligent for a 6 year old. She's a gem.
Before she said her age, she'd spoken quite a lot and I just assumed she was a teenager with some disability. Imagine my shock at hearing her say she's 6.
What in the world!!!!!!!!! 😮😮😮
How such emotional maturity, thoughtfulness and articulation reside in the body of a 6-year old leaves me astounded.
Autumn, you're a ray of sunshine. Your smile adds to the brightness of the world.
You're a star!!!!!!
“It’s not how you look, it’s how you’re kind and how you think about people” such an adorable and intelligent young girl😍for a 6yo, she’s so emotionally intelligent👌and what I love about you Autumn the most is your laughter😀😃😃😄😄😆so cute😍
she’s just so beautiful. what a wonderful human with amazing parents 🥹❤️
God bless this precious little girl.
What a wonderful thing for a little 6-year-old to say with that very first sentence
Oh my goodness she such a sweet sweet child. And her intellect for a six year old is through the roof!!! She's been here before... You're in my prayer sweetie ❤🙏
