Powerful Insights From Peter Diamandis:
"I believe without question, the two biggest business markets on the planet are AI and longevity."
“My whole mission on extending the healthy lifespan is about making time more abundant for people.”
"I think longevity is one of the largest business opportunities that's gonna materialize over the decade ahead.”
"On the flip side of AGI, we do have abundance defined as access to all the food, water, energy, healthcare education that you want."
"And for those who say, oh my God, slow down. I don't want to see it. I like the way it is right now. You know, I hate to say this. There, there's no velocity knob on this technological world. There's no on off switch. It is moving at lightning speed."
“I think it's going to become, I think we have a divisiveness coming, and people are playing full out and it's no longer gentlemanly politics, and part of this is a post-truth economy where you can't tell whether something is truthful or not.”

To summarize the techno-optimist position, humanity will voluntarily enslave itself to its shiny new creations, an unprecedented seismic wave of destruction will reign for an untold duration, and eventually some select few of us might emerge into a world where “very few things” are of value anymore.

You folks are terrifying.
Elon IS scary...he said we could put 80 billion people on earth that optimally can handle only 3 billion. Telling people, who, like Elon, is irresponsibly ignorant of the natural world, encourages people to believe they can have as many children as they want, when in fact, we should be encouraging birthing 3 children or less.

Back to the basics. Learn how to grow food, regenerate our soil, learn how to preserve food, process medicinal herbs etc etc blah blah blah...
The problem that people in the virtual world have is they take the physical world for granted. They assume food magically appears on the press of a button and there is an ample supply of energy.
Here is news for you, this is not the case.Look at Ukraine and how that country got wrecked in only a few years.

I am starting to get a bit concerned about the AI-robotic future; not because it will go evil/rogue and kill everyone, but that it will just simply replace workers. I appreciate in previous similar revolutions, people could be re-trained. No longer making buggy whips, but now you can make cars. Ultimately good. However, whatever people could now be retrained into, the AI will already be better at. So a vanishingly small number of people will control ever increasing portions of the economy. The already vast difference between the haves and the have-nots will become even greater. There will definitely be a great number of great things that can be done by AI. There will be definite benefits in health, energy, efficiency, etc., but who will ultimately benefit from that is not clear. If we go to a "star trek" utopia where money is no longer an issue because everyone can have whatever they want, then great. But if the current trend of those with power and control always taking more power and control, then there will be a few in utopia, and many in the ditches. How people will maintain themselves and strive for a place in this unfolding evolution is not evident.
"It will replace workers" GOOD!, Do you like to work? I would rather play.
You’re concerns are valid. There will be a much greater push for a lot less people to be on this earth. It is their opinion that a lot of people must go and as a result this is a conversation amongst the 1% who believe in this future to come.
You’re thinking too small. AI/robots/automation will increase productivity to the point that society doesn’t need people to work so much. Why work when it’s already completed by robots? Do something you care about with your time; anything you want.
Are you familiar with the material gains of the average human being made within the last 20 years, 50 years, 100 years? There is greater wealth in so many more humans in many multiples of any time in the history of human civilization. And especially amongst the poorest humans. The prescient issue is not one of materialism but that of psychologism/spiritualism.

The perspectives of certain tech titans, who prioritize speed and efficiency over the natural course of evolution, may ultimately erode the very essence of our existence.
Embracing the natural pace of life allows us to appreciate its wonders and complexities. It grants us the space to reflect, connect, and grow as individuals and as a society. By honoring the natural evolution of life, we can preserve our humanity and continue to thrive in harmony with the world around us. Let us not forget that the journey itself holds as much value as the destination.
You're a great teacher with a firm grasp of the facts - I've learned so much from you, Also, thanks so much for making that AMSKRC info free!
There is another huge issue we just saw during the last altercation in the middle east. That is real videos from the past being used to depict the present.
future proves past
Is this guy Geoge Soros' son?
I'm impressed by your future altcoin list and the explanation of why you have picked AMSKRC . I'm happy to find this channel today.
I picture a future generation that takes way more pleasure in conversing about what to do next, what should happen next, where to go next vs. just thinking it and it is true. The chaos would be immense. There would be no point in experiencing it all alone so it would require talking to someone, your tribe, to convince them to go with.
8:20 "This is going to be traumatic for people" .... my whole life has been traumatic, bring it on.
Me too. Haha
Same
Sounds like you need to join the military
@@stephenkearny1504I did 13 years and a combat tour in Iraq. Any other suggestions?

I think these guys are off the rocker. I see more and more people tuning out of technology. My young niece just gave up on social media. People are seeing how much this stuff has become cancer. AI best friends will only appeal to the people who could never make friends in the first place. The rest of us will stick to humans. We see what AI has just done in Gaza. F that.
You said you think that a AMSKRC will outperform btc. What makes you think this? Are there macoeco, technical, fundimental, or valuation reasons for this?
Just realized this is a re-upload ugh
Wish you put dates on the clips, timeline is very important with how fast AI is moving
Thanks Tom!
Thanks Peter!
Great conversations!
Yes please. I would love a video that does a deep dive on the AMSKRC project
Oh hell no, I'm with Pirate Software here on UA-cam.
"If the printer makes a funny noise I shoot it."
The less things connected to the internet, the better. Not the doorbell, not the thermostat, sure as hell not the fridge, no Alexa...
These tools don't require internet, we'll be able to run ppwerful local models at a very small scale in just a couple years
On muscle mass, at least 10 years ago I saw a TED Talk saying that muscles very rarely get cancer. Cancer cells can deposit there, but they just don't spread and grow there.
I wondered about using your muscles as basically a filter for any metastasizing cancer. More muscle and more use of them would obviously provide more of such filtering.
I wonder if that's involved in the cancer protection effects Peter reports from muscle mass and exercise.
Awesome! Have been waiting for a Peter Diamandis Conversation.
In what realm is an electric car better than ICE? Lol
Problem today is the alliance between all the psychopaths exhibited here that think they’re God.
Shared out on X. Thanks for this interview. Amazing content!
The other guest Ismael so brilliant and is socially aware so as to communicate in a gentle way.
Yes. But they work well together.
The prolblem with all this is that we are together in this world.
So?
Shall I keep myself poor because others are sabotaging their life's?
With for example poor food choices (full of carbs and plants), no exercise, spending time on stupid "experiences" etc?
No thanks. I built my shit up and believe anyone can!
Trust me, they are not going to be part of our world..
Black Mirror episodes are the other end of this completely positive conversation about AI. It's baffling to me how one-sided they are.
Man... going to have to watch this interview at least 10 times to get most of it.... so good
The issue is AI is more interesting to interact with than humans that mostly just stare at their phones all day. I have stopped hanging out with many old friends because they are so distracted all the time by nonsense, there are really no good discussions happening with friends or family. AI fills this gap much better and will stay engaged in the conversation without distraction, making us all feel like we are valued and being listened to. Not saying it's ideal, but people will gravitate towards AI 'friends' because the experience is more fulfilling than real life.
Lose the backward hat dude.
out of everything these people were talking about you are focused on his backwards hat...the man is worth like over 100+ million dollars....maybe you should get a backwards hat.
We will survive with Allha Mercifulness and Rahim 🙏He promised all the creatures in the world he will feed them with his Gracious !!!!Alhamdulihi🙏🙏
Awareness and concern are at the edge of reflexive thought. The ability to communicate effectively has a sense of unity in a society. On the backside is relaxed.
TLDR People are divided on the future of technology and investing, with some focusing on practical skills and others expressing skepticism and concern.
Huh, if this many souls aren't needed in an AI world what a coincidence we're learning about excess deaths trending as well as the geo-political conflicts happening at the same time where further loss of life occurs. One could hypothesize this as deliberate convenience.
Just a coincidence, move on citizen.
Who created that oak tree seed? Get to know Him.
Love the AMSKRC Alt videos. AMSKRC has been my biggest position and really love exploring the ecosystem.
The fed not only will not cut, it will raise drastically. Interest rates have been too low for the past 15 years. They should have never gotten that low, but the government tried to spur the economy with artificially low interest rates. This is the result. Every interest rate will or has gone up and will continue to do so to suck up all of the inflation.
Yeah forsure I have seen this before. This is an old interview. When was the original release of this.
techno-optimism... yikes.
unibomber manifesto = prophetic
i don't let my kids have/near ANY tech device.
virtual worlds = interesting... OK, but where's the VALUE? producing tangible goods? nope. growing food? nope. increasing efficiency? absolutely not.
glorified video games are the ultimate waste of time... not sure how/why you believe this qualifies as "progress" or anything else...
BTW, AI is a nothingburger... just like all tech "revolutions". AI cheerleaders are the same people trying to sell their Teslas while memoryhole-ing the EV "revolution"... LULZ.
If you dont understand AI, dont comment. You seem to not understand the state of the art.
@freebird7369 Is the state of the art closer to a) bunch of if statements interacting with a large data set or b) Cortana from Halo? If a), what is the plan to get to b) and what is the evidence that that's even possible?
@@colindilworth4223 Why do you think we are so different than a large data set? The path from a to b has been shown. Thats is why they are pumping billions into it. Its all about scale and so far we have not found a point of diminishing returns.
@@freebird7369 go buy some more batteries.
Agree. I think we need and hopefully we’re headed to a creative economy instead of more consumptive economy.
Some of these predictions will surely come to pass, but I don’t believe for everyone. AI is more likely to amplify the gap between haves and the have nots, just as the pandemic has done. Learning in a VR atmosphere is amazing, but what about those schools that can’t afford heating, decent food, pens, let alone iPads. I see a greater schism leading to a level of disaffection that is very likely to lead to bloodshed. The rich will have to let go of many of their riches, and they won’t want to do that.
Says "empathy" in one sentence and his expectations of people to fight in the hunger games just to survive and climb on top of the bones of the less fortunate in the next.
Even if people upskill in AI, they won't be needed en masse anymore. When the rich talk about empathy here they mean they will feel sad watching people suffer and die off as they become obsolete like horses did. But to make sure they don't have to feel too sad, they'll convince themselves and gaslight others that people perish by their own fault.
And when they talk about abundance for everybody, by everybody they meam the 5% of the wealthiest of the population that will survive and they finally wouldnt have to worry about those pesky poor people. Even climate change would fix itself then.
Even if they cover with grand total of one sentence subject such as the UBI, they forget to mention it means everybody will barely survive in the next. No more freedom or a way to escape poverty.
...losing a sense of purpose? (for a job most don't want anyway?)
