May Day Protests in Sri Lanka - 2017

Back in 2017 I was sailing on a Maersk Container Ship that had a port call in Sri Lanka on May Day. This is unshared footage of the peaceful protests that occurred that day. Being that May Day was this week, I felt it was an appropriate time to share it.
Channel update:
I apologize for the lack of posting and updates. I am working another job right now after suffering a snowboarding injury this winter, but will return to sea later this year with new content. Thanks for posting this. Gives some context to economic troubles Sri Lanka has after Covid stole its tourism industry - a large part of its foreign income. India has given some financial assistance to the country, but it really needs tourism and other industries to bounce back.
