Have driven the entire length. My favorite stretch is through the gold country, Sonora to Auburn. South of Jamestown down to Madeira is an amazing road, but very different from the northern stretch, scenery and tarmac wise. Looking forward to doing the northern stretch again. It never gets boring. Best on a weekday and not during the summer months. Fun car definitely recommended!
Drove this many a time coming back from Moms in Grass Valley back home to South Lake Tahoe. Lovely drive.
