Performance really won’t be fixed because Minecraft currently only uses one core of a cpu and Mojang won’t change this because, in there own words “we don’t want to chance what Minecraft makes Minecraft.”
Structure update is absolutely needed, add new structure to the overworld above ground, upgrade every single structure and even the stronghold and that could lead to the end update
No no no, there are ALOT of structures, what do u want more? Everyone complained about 1.21 because there's a new structure which is only side quest, so it's terrible idea just like this terrible community
Here is what's next: after a mob vote where we will get to choose between a duck, a butterfly and a grasshopper (all equally useless), they will add a new wood type found in a very rare forest biomes, add calcite stairs and slabs and add even more unfunny jokes to the title screen and call it a day

i would love for a small update for ambience like you talked about, simply hearing birds chirping or woodpeckers in a birch forest or hearing owl's in the swamps. this would be great giving the worlds more personality and depth. this would be very small which Mojang could easily do
I thought "hey what ever happened to the biome vote? They could make an update on that." And then saw a game rant article on just that, then today I see this video which proposes just that. Great minds think alike.
I'd like a new villager type. Obviously fixing the fletching table so we can make new arrows or better yet tipped arrows like in bedrock. But the two new villagers that come to mind is if one of them could use the Anvil for say an Equestrian that could sell horse armor, saddles, leads and nametags. Also introducing a new equable item like horseshoes. Horseshoes that can be enchanted with pretty much any boot enchantment. Also allow us to enchant horse armor and upgrade it to netherite. Actually a whole mount overhall would be great. We could have different regional effects for equestrians such as allowing the llamma and Camel variants in the appropriate biomes. Less cool but having the beehive make a beekeeper who sells honey, honey blocks, honey combs, bottles of honey. They would buy flowers, glass and glass bottles. Another one and I don't know what block to use but a glassblower villager to make different kinds of glass. Though that steps on the toes of the librarian. Give us a cherry village. Also swamp and jungle villages. And perhaps unpopular opinion but having a map like all the map mods have would be super super super super nice. Some people like the realistic feeling but I have no sense of direction and hate having to write down coordinates constantly. I have a several pages in a notebook that are just notes of "Server X and Structure Y at Bla-Blah- and Blagh.
1. I would like the Beekeeper and for the equestrian, call them a farrier (profession that does horseshoes). 2. A woodcutter profession block with either a Lumberjack or forester who buys common saplings and bonemeal and sells wood and the like (basically just to allow us yo have a woodcutter like the stonecutter) 3. I would also like a QOL change of all stones in cobbled versions be abled to use for stone tools and other recipes unless it specifically requires one variant. I would also like to see all stone types uniform in their variety :)
ive heard a criticism that letting common surface structures have valuable loot at all, even if only valuable in the early game, is too exploitable and lets you ignore the core gameplay. makes me think that if we're going to have easily accessible structures with good loot in them, then there needs to be more challenge in accessing them, and i like their approach with that in the trial chambers. (yknow aside from the fact you can stockpile keys from what i hear) i feel the closest theyve gotten to that idea prior was with ocean monuments, having to deal with thorns enemies and get water breathing potions/secure oxygen some other way to navigate the monument, and get mining fatigue preventing you from breaking through the monument. but all theyre defending is some gold and sponge, and you can defeat the mining fatigue fairly easily with enough milk buckets. what makes the trial spawners better is that the loot is hardcoded to only appear once youve beaten all the enemies, and thats not something i ever expected mojang to do. ive always loved the idea of minecraft having more challenges, whether its combat or puzzles, but the issue is that they can be ignored fairly easily when you can just ignore the challenge and access the loot chest directly by mining around it. if thats an issue mojang plans on getting around now, then i think they should just bite the bullet and make structures that are indestructible until you beat the challenge. theyve already tried this in the jankiest way imaginable through the elder guardian, but i really dont think the most elegant idea was to invoke adventure mode through potion effects, running like an extremely delayed beacon tied to the erratic movements of a mob. i think they should just make it so some strictures cant be manipulated unless you A: Win the challenge. or B: Forfeit, erasing the challenge (in case it was a mob fight), and sacrificing the loot. I feel this way because such indestructible structures may get in the way of people's builds if theyre underground, or maybe theyre sitting on a nice building spot if theyre on the surface, and all they care about is the creative side of minecraft. psychologically i feel this is a little harsher than simply never fighting the ender dragon or wither, where you theres actively sacrificed by you in not pursuing them, only the lack of access to end game stuff like the elytra and beacon. and having to opt out of the challenge because its in your way and you suck at combat, probably feels worse than simply opting in to a fight thats never physically in your way, and yeah i dont know how to resolve that. still though, i feel this approach can benefit the survival experience a lot, and they could make a setting to disable it as well, so i dont think people's individual survival experiences would really be hurt by it
I have thought about what if mojang added "knowledge books" or something like that, being objects you need to collect in order to unlock recipes (instead of just unlocking it as soon as you get some sources), that could solve the progression problem partially, making progression more enjoyable and giving more utility to structures.
My idea for 1.22 or 1.23 is the "Wet and Dry" update. It will focus on upgrading the hot biomes from the biome vote (Savannah, badlands, and desert) while more things to beaches and oceans, including a new type of rainforest or something. This would also be a good time to revive the crab and penguin
Love your videos. You put actual work in them and I appreciate that so much. With the rise of ai creators people like you become rarer. Keep it going man!!!!
one thing i really want out of Minecraft wood is the rest of our wood types would have "large tree variants" like spruce dark oak and jungle (no i don't count the random ass large oak as a big tree) this would make harvesting a lot of tree types so much easier. and what i mean by big tree variants is the type of trees that are 2x2 wide which makes them thicker and taller, it can be grown using 4 saplings in a 2x2 pattern. birch, acatia, oak (somewhat), both type of fungus tree, cherry and mangrove could all use this to harvest their logs so much easier. in addition, any addons to future biomes would be able to use such trees, so let's take for example a savanna update being able to use the new large acatia tree, a birch forest update would use the large birch tree in it and maybe a more cluttered future forest would be able to use a large oak variant.
That kind of "old growth" forests could work well for oak trees (two variants) and some acacias, but not for mangrove and birch since birches are not that thick in real life and mangrove are already massive, but making tall birch obtainable and making mangrove branchier could help.
@@Jesus-qv5sw there should definitly be tall birch as well, if only for the birch forest biome update, but both of your suggestion would make much harder to get a lot of these wood, i don't want to RNG roll every birch tree i grow to build extra three blocks or scoure the entire of a mangrove canepe for around 5 extra pieces of wood. as for realism, my man we are in a world where living slime, zombies, magic Muslim moss monsters, skeletons both regular and withered, fire and wind personafied AND A FUCKING DRAGON came to life exist. and if you want something closer to plants, we have mooshrooms their island and the skulk existing. idc if it's through some sort of magic bone meal made with composting golden apples or mere code implications just give us a way to chose which tree type we want to grow (regular, tall or giant) with some for decoration while others are for actually harvesting wood.
I feel if mojang were to update the desert and jungle temples further it would be by giving them different ROOM types rather than a whole larger variant the trap could be different every time similar to how there are different bastion types that hold different challenges and loot. (Maybe each type could have a different armor trim.)
I think a dimensional update would be best, like the nether, adding seasons and updating biomes like the Desert, Badlands, and the Tiaga for the Overworld as well as an End Update
I suggest that plains must be enhanced with more biome variants (like tall-grass plains, steppe, golden grasslands, etc.), and add some even-toed animals like bison or reindeer.
I would love to see a biome with giant trees. We have the jungle I guess, but a more clear area with maybe even bigger trees, and then this biome could finally have the addition of bares... also, I guess we just had a cave update, but we eventually need another one, and my wish for that one is biome based caves, so if ur in a sand biome on the surface, the caves should reflect that. Same with snow, and ice caves. Also, my final idea would be, another boss, but inside of a cave. Maybe near bedrock? It would be fantastic to see a boss for every major area in minecraft. We have the guardian for the sea, the ender dragon for the end, and the wither either the surface or the nether. Id count the wither as a surface boss, so I would love to see a nether boss. Maybe a giant piglin, or a giant strider... that could be a actually such a unique boss. Similar to the wall of flesh, you would need to build platforms first so you can even fight him, since he will most likely be in lava. Maybe he will even hide underneath the lava if ur too far away, that way u cant camp on a save area without being near lava and spamming him with the bow.
in one of ther minor updates for 1.21 if i was the person in charge i would update the hot biomes from the biome votes it be a good thing for a minor update
knowing Mojang's recent updates, it's probably going to be some mix of a few things we've kinda been wanting, but then also many things no one asked for. i cant imagine the next update being a major overhaul of anything, It's probably going to be some largely inconsequential additions, even if they will be a net positive for the game there's probably also going to be an excuse to add new music, so a new biome or a structure centered around a biome might be likely. The dry biomes don't have many biome-specific tracks, so as suggested in the video maybe sub-biome(s) based on the biome votes, like with the Mangrove Swamp, will be added. I think it's going to be 1 or 2 biomes at most though. As for structures, i think a Mesa/Badlands version of the Desert Temple _(or maybe something to do with Pillagers, seeing as Badlands mineshafts and Pillager buildings are both made of Dark Oak wood)_ is most likely in the case of a dry biomes update. It's a basic and obvious idea, but they can expand upon it to make it unique. This also makes the update heavily centered around 1 major addition, as with 1.21's Trail Chambers
Personally, as a guy that has played this game for 13 years now, I'm just so tired of the Birch forest being broad up so many times. No offense to anyone here, but The Birch Forest, (just like the Color Armadillos) was concept art, and not an official feature by Mojang directly in 1.19. In fact, I think the Birch Forest, is already perfect the way it is honestly. I kinda loved it simplicity and how identical it is to the regular Forest biome in the game. Yes it could be great with some added ambience, but other then that, I think it's fine.
As someone who has played for 11 or 10 years now, im tired about the people defending the "concept art is not a commitment" Mojang argument. Per se is right, but whe you show a concept art and take time to talk calmly about it and how do you want to improve the ambience of that and other biomes after you said that is the main goal of the update there is when it stops to be right and turns into a scam or a lie. I agree in part with the birch forest looks good as it is now, but adding more flowers, bees and more spaced trees will make them feel even more alive, i think that they also should make them to appear next to snowy taiga or snowy plains (since birches actually form soome patches in that places).
I'd go mad for a Dry Biomes update (I've always voted for them in the votes) but I think every update from here on out NEEDS quality of life elements, whether they fit the theme or not. Inventory interface and item storage needed an update ages ago - an bundles just aren't going to cut it. We've waited for years at this point for bundles, and I think the difficulty of making them parity w Bedrock just highlights that the whole inventory needs reconceptualization if the current inventory cant make such a basic feature, like the bundle, work. It only gets more difficult and frustrating as the devs add more blocks, items, and variants (looking at copper with the thousand yard stare) to the game but ignore the base issue of stacks of 64, 16, and nonstackables all having to share the same inventory equally being incongruous to the scale that most people want to play at.
They should make bows and cross bows use different ammo as well as introduce a sling shot and a bamboo blow dart. This will give 4 new ranged ammos and 2 new ranged weapons. You can make the blow dart do less damage but you can shoot more often and you can combine a spider eye with blow darts to make poison darts (without brewing potions). The cross bow bolts will act the same as arrows while having different tips. The slingshot would require 1 string and 4 sticks, does the same damage as arrows but has increased knock back and you have to turn cobble stone into rocks. They could add custom enchanted as well. Another cool thing would be adding a couple new melee weapons. A battle axe could pierce armor better but have the same damage as a normal axe. A spear could act as a trident early game but not be able to have the same enchanted. Only enchant shared would be loyalty. Lastly they could add a dungeon for the jungle (not replace the old one) that is a jungle tree house. Could add breezes that could knock you off platforms as well as add mossed zombies and toxic frog like monsters. They’ll position you and they can stick to walls and jump 5-6 blocks high.
replace the current temples with ruined versions of themselves (destruction ranging from minimal to completely obliterated) then add new awesome variants
A “tweaks & freaks” update wouldn’t hurt Something to balance the pacing/usage of some things & moving nether portals to y -52 along with re-adding mine fog.
I had a thought why not add more reskinned variants of cows, pigs and chickens with there being multiple types to fit the biome like the wolves all the original domestic looking ones could still be found in and around villages though
I think the bear idea is really interesting, but there's still the problem that mojang doesn't want to add hostile mobs of real creatures to minecraft. This is the same reason why they say they will never add sharks or alligators, even though neither need to be hostile mobs, and can be neutral and only attack if the player attacks first. I think bears would need some sort of behavior to make them still capable of attacking the player, but harmless otherwise. The behavior would need to be specific enough that mojang would consider it not a hostile mob. Otherwise it could end up like sharks, where there's a clear fix, but monjang still wont add the mob.
They need to get rid of that dumb rule in general. Wanting to focus on adding wild animals to the game but not including dangerous ones is shooting themselves in the foot
Minecraft 1.22 Pillager update They would have a Village Island under the control of Pillager and you would have to defeat the leader of the Pillagers to save the village and it would give you the Hero of the Village and maybe they would make the outposts a base and you would get better loot.
well it doesn't matter much,i bet whatever theme they are going for, they will make 8 new decorative blocks, 2 useful blocks, 1 interesting item, and a new mob that will have no big impact
Why do must people just want more. more combat, more loot, more items. how about something completely different like cities in smp servers. must have 200 online or less but why not 1000. i get that would need some thinking but stille it could create some vary different games because we are so meny online at the same time.
Need Qol updates imo. Mc overworld has looked the same for years. And everything you need is in caves to progress so why venture out of spawn? We hardly see the world because everything is so easy to get and their is no rewards when exploring. The only time I explore mc is when I’m looking for a place to live. If I don’t see cool structures on the way then I won’t bother looking for them cuz their are no rewards and honesty not much to see when exploring cuz everything is just 5 block trees that cover the map. Also remove elytra.
I don't get why they don't just make the inventory a page system. Who cares as long as I have more room for all the freaking items I have to carry. Stupid reasons why they haven't done anything. Inexcusable period.
This better not be thing themed, 1.20 is book themed, and 1.21 is copper themed, i hope 1.22 is the end update, if it's not, then the devs and Notch himself are very lazy Pixel Gun 3d deserves to have the old version of the Enemies back because Notch left Mojang.
Yeah no as much as I want them to update the end the performance of this game is unexpectable there is no reason a game like this can barley run on my switch and before anyone says it, no it is not a switch problem I would kindly ask you to look at tears of the kingdom a game I do not like and have completed, the fact microsoft can not be bothered to fix it tells you they do not care about it mojang might but who owns them.
I agree for the most part, I only really play on PC so thats all I can speak for but I literally refuse to play the game without sodium or optifine. They did say there working on a new engine to fix this though.
Minecraft ran better on the inferior WII U how embarrassing is that for mojang. From all the games on my switch Minecraft has crashed and buged out on me the most times.

i would love for a small update for ambience like you talked about, simply hearing birds chirping or woodpeckers in a birch forest or hearing owl's in the swamps. this would be great giving the worlds more personality and depth. this would be very small which Mojang could easily do
Infact, there's a file that has bird ambience but removed since there's literally no bird in this game except chickens. So? Uhh
I thought "hey what ever happened to the biome vote? They could make an update on that." And then saw a game rant article on just that, then today I see this video which proposes just that. Great minds think alike.
great minds think alike, but fools rarely differ (it doesn't apply here, but i wanted to make a reminder that the quote has another variation)

NO GOD PLEASE NO AS A BEDROCK PLAYER I WOULD HATE THIS!!!
2. A woodcutter profession block with either a Lumberjack or forester who buys common saplings and bonemeal and sells wood and the like (basically just to allow us yo have a woodcutter like the stonecutter)
3. I would also like a QOL change of all stones in cobbled versions be abled to use for stone tools and other recipes unless it specifically requires one variant. I would also like to see all stone types uniform in their variety :)
You’re actually really underrated and I enjoy your content a lot, you’ve definitely earned a sub
Thanks man!
1:41 Ancient Debris tree, what a flex 😂
ive heard a criticism that letting common surface structures have valuable loot at all, even if only valuable in the early game, is too exploitable and lets you ignore the core gameplay. makes me think that if we're going to have easily accessible structures with good loot in them, then there needs to be more challenge in accessing them, and i like their approach with that in the trial chambers. (yknow aside from the fact you can stockpile keys from what i hear)
i feel the closest theyve gotten to that idea prior was with ocean monuments, having to deal with thorns enemies and get water breathing potions/secure oxygen some other way to navigate the monument, and get mining fatigue preventing you from breaking through the monument. but all theyre defending is some gold and sponge, and you can defeat the mining fatigue fairly easily with enough milk buckets.
what makes the trial spawners better is that the loot is hardcoded to only appear once youve beaten all the enemies, and thats not something i ever expected mojang to do. ive always loved the idea of minecraft having more challenges, whether its combat or puzzles, but the issue is that they can be ignored fairly easily when you can just ignore the challenge and access the loot chest directly by mining around it.
if thats an issue mojang plans on getting around now, then i think they should just bite the bullet and make structures that are indestructible until you beat the challenge. theyve already tried this in the jankiest way imaginable through the elder guardian, but i really dont think the most elegant idea was to invoke adventure mode through potion effects, running like an extremely delayed beacon tied to the erratic movements of a mob. i think they should just make it so some strictures cant be manipulated unless you A: Win the challenge. or B: Forfeit, erasing the challenge (in case it was a mob fight), and sacrificing the loot.
Nothing of that, we actually need a quality of life update.
Filters, item shorting and organizers... much more things
Your bear idea is unique and awesome! I would love to feed honey to a bear to then shear the claws off.
I think Minecraft is gonna be better and better throughout time
I agree. It gets better every single update despite what some people with rose tinted glasses on say.
Love your videos. You put actual work in them and I appreciate that so much. With the rise of ai creators people like you become rarer. Keep it going man!!!!
Thanks man means a lot!
one thing i really want out of Minecraft wood is the rest of our wood types would have "large tree variants" like spruce dark oak and jungle (no i don't count the random ass large oak as a big tree)
this would make harvesting a lot of tree types so much easier.
and what i mean by big tree variants is the type of trees that are 2x2 wide which makes them thicker and taller, it can be grown using 4 saplings in a 2x2 pattern.
birch, acatia, oak (somewhat), both type of fungus tree, cherry and mangrove could all use this to harvest their logs so much easier.
in addition, any addons to future biomes would be able to use such trees, so let's take for example a savanna update being able to use the new large acatia tree, a birch forest update would use the large birch tree in it and maybe a more cluttered future forest would be able to use a large oak variant.
8:06 - those bears look so fking funny
The bear claw is the coolest idea ive heard in a while
An interesting idea would be a recycler, a block that destroys something useless you put in and gives you half of the materials used in its crafting
I feel if mojang were to update the desert and jungle temples further it would be by giving them different ROOM types rather than a whole larger variant
the trap could be different every time similar to how there are different bastion types that hold different challenges and loot.
Maybe he will even hide underneath the lava if ur too far away, that way u cant camp on a save area without being near lava and spamming him with the bow.
in one of ther minor updates for 1.21 if i was the person in charge i would update the hot biomes from the biome votes it be a good thing for a minor update
knowing Mojang's recent updates, it's probably going to be some mix of a few things we've kinda been wanting, but then also many things no one asked for. i cant imagine the next update being a major overhaul of anything, It's probably going to be some largely inconsequential additions, even if they will be a net positive for the game
there's probably also going to be an excuse to add new music, so a new biome or a structure centered around a biome might be likely.
This also makes the update heavily centered around 1 major addition, as with 1.21's Trail Chambers
i like to call that warm biome update idea 'the hot update'
Your content is actually so good! Here before you blow up!
THhanks man appreciate it!
I think they should make creatures automatically breed
They’ll position you and they can stick to walls and jump 5-6 blocks high.
replace the current temples with ruined versions of themselves (destruction ranging from minimal to completely obliterated)
then add new awesome variants
8:08 also zebras in place of horses that spawn in the savanna
A “tweaks & freaks” update wouldn’t hurt
Something to balance the pacing/usage of some things & moving nether portals to y -52 along with re-adding mine fog.
I had a thought why not add more reskinned variants of cows, pigs and chickens with there being multiple types to fit the biome like the wolves all the original domestic looking ones could still be found in and around villages though
Please bro, continue making these videos, everything you said in this video should be added to minecraft!
Takes swig of rum, WHAT ABOUT BOATS, BIG ONES…. With blac- normal inconspicuous colored sails
both of our types of content are different but your videos inspire me, man. see you at 100K next month.
honestly if they want to make horses better they just need to make trees taller or make horses go through leafs
Very true, maybe i'll look into this in a future video :)
We should not teach kids that grizzly bears are safe to be near as long as you don't hit it.
@@numbskull9369 we also shouldn't teach them to make concentration camps off of villagers
@@numbskull9369 nor should we teach them that water can break your fall no matter from what height
They need to get rid of that dumb rule in general. Wanting to focus on adding wild animals to the game but not including dangerous ones is shooting themselves in the foot
I feel like the only thing that’s actually needed is an inventory update. Anything else is a cherry on top for me
3x3 Pickaxe will never happen. Mojang stated that in their design-philosophy-book
You predicted the Minecart Update
Ooohhh we love the quality of life idea! ❤❤
6:00 Would these extra slots apply to chests too?
We don’t need any structures or mobs. We need parity, stability, and an inventory update
I have ideas
Structure update( its not name of thia)
Name of this will be bestructre update
Seasons and weather are what I want the most 😢
Minecraft H.O.T update
Hunter
Ow my god they finally added industrialcraft to the base game
Tropics
i really hope they’ll add new food
Dungeon update would be so Bad like bro we just got a Trial Chambers give us something else lol
The Wnd needs an update Badly holy shit.
Awesome video ❤
Minecraft 1.22
Pillager update
They would have a Village Island under the control of Pillager and you would have to defeat the leader of the Pillagers to save the village and it would give you the Hero of the Village and maybe they would make the outposts a base and you would get better loot.
well it doesn't matter much,i bet whatever theme they are going for,
they will make 8 new decorative blocks, 2 useful blocks, 1 interesting item, and a new mob that will have no big impact
Wow. Underrated. Amazing thumbnail
Thanks man!!!
They should add all the old mod votes
I don’t care what it is as long as they finally add custommodeldata for blocks
Poeple always talk about that minecarts need to be faster but think about all the redstone machines with minecarts, they would all be useless
8:37 this is beautiful
Good video bud
Already fell for this trap before. Not again
These are all very good ideas
Bro, mate, dude, my guy, it's been less than a months just enjoy the update the next update would probably be announced in 3 months anyway
I just want iron stairs lol
we NEED the end update
1.22 the coomer and zoomer update xD
Minecraft devs need to listen to players to actually make the game more fun and not just add useless mobs
Sculk dimension the end uptade nether uptade new mobs and mooooooooooore!
a deep sea updates i love the the deep sea
Year and year, I think minecraft is losing the part of it that I fell in love with 😞
End update omg please
We won’t get another update for another 14 months they only update once a year 😂😂
I don't get why they don't just make the inventory a page system. Who cares as long as I have more room for all the freaking items I have to carry. Stupid reasons why they haven't done anything. Inexcusable period.
1.22 is minecraft end and sculk
End update
This better not be thing themed, 1.20 is book themed, and 1.21 is copper themed, i hope 1.22 is the end update, if it's not, then the devs and Notch himself are very lazy
Pixel Gun 3d deserves to have the old version of the Enemies back because Notch left Mojang.
Minecraft 1.22 is named end and sculk update and new aromr trim template to turn your aromr and tools in to end aromr, news mobs and more in 2025.
Yeah, obviously the Switch isn’t a supercomputer but even Minecraft: Nintendo Switch edition worked perfectly fine before Bedrock replaced it
