agreed. It looks and sounds easy until you try and play along. Such a great line though.
Some bars are not played exactly as it should be. I considered the strumming patterns are quite free on the entire song so i don't think it was necesssary to replicate it exactly, you can create your own patterns while you mantain the mood of the tune. Time signature may be tricky also, try to divide the 5/4 into 3/4 + 2/4 so you don't get lost. Song is in B Minor:

Hey man, I don't know what's been going on lately but it's been ages since you've played any more advanced music. I used to feel excited when you came out with a video because often times it would cut out a large step in the process for learning new music for me which is figuring out the correct way to play it.
Your recent videos have been mostly stuff that I can sit down for 20-30 minutes and have figured out and mastered on my own. Also your music choices have been very bland lately with so many punk/alt/whatever rock songs that are just strumming root notes with a pick. There's nothing wrong with these songs inherantly but I feel that anyone playing for more than a couple months should already be moving on to more advanced music if they want to see improvements.
Obviously you can do whatever you want with your channel but I'd personally love to see a return to more advanced pieces and I know many other viewers feel the same way. Do you have any updates on what you've been up to? I remember ages ago you said you working on Anesthesia? Any news on that? Any communication would be much appreciated
I kind of agree with you however I think it's important for this channel to have a lot of "simple" bass line which allows begginer to have fun and more advenced player to play allong and improvise (to me improvising is the best way to improve as a musician especially if you play in a band)
And to answer you're question I might be completly wrong but I believe he's only doing songs that are asked on patron!

Maboroshi I can see where you're coming from. Music has a high enough barrier to entry as is and even though I was lucky enough to have great instructors from a young age I recognise that not everyone has had that.
I guess my main grievance is that there has been a noticible content shift recently without any communication on the specifics, plans, or reasoning from CoverSolutions. I may have missed something because I don't follow the podcast or read the comments for most videos unless I'm having trouble with it. I obviously don't speak for everyone here but if he came out and just said something like "hey I don't have enough time to do more advanced pieces anymore" or "I want this channel to be more begginer focused" I'd be satisfied. It's the not knowing why that's bugging me most

Why is everyone here so against beginner or simpler tunes? Not everything needs to be complex. As a beginner, I appreciate the simpler stuff. If you don't like the videos you feel are beneath you, just skip them for now. Easy peasy.
