  • Piano Lessons Gone NUTS! Video 1 of MANY coming up where Shawn answers the common everyday questions about music that everyone has. I've taught piano lessons for over 23 years, and played professionally for longer than that! No cold lifeless animated lessons here, or watered down lessons by someone who doesn't understand themselves what they are trying to teach you! I'm ready to teach and help you to reach your goal and dream of playing the piano successfully. Enjoy.

i cant beleieve ive been watching your videos for almost 10 years. Youve saved me potential thousands of dollars for lessons and broke it down to where i could effortlessly understand piano within a year or so. You are the man!!! Even though we've never met i have nothing but the upmost respect for you, your heart and your wicked skills. I believe after 10 years of practice with specifically your lessons, i can keep up with you now. Im an multi-intrumentalists and an audio engineer nowadays and id definitely be up to have you collaborating on a piece one day! much love from atlanta, ga!

Thank you! I play a lot of guitar, too, so that helps as well.

You bet, Dave! Yeah, if you have a decent guitar patch on your board the pitch bend really is fun to play with.

Thanks Shawn for this great lesson. Gives me a better idea how to play this solo now on the keyboard. With my keyboard I can do pitch bending so i can add a little more spice to the mix as you might say. Have to go back and see how this fits in with the Stairway to Heaven lessons you have done on your members area.
    thanks again,
    DaveT

hey thank you sooooo much for this tutorial, I bought sheet music for stairway to heaven and it didn't include the solo so this is perfect!:D iv got the melody for the treble clef down, but I was wondering what your basic "pattern" is for the chords in the bass, I'm having some trouble with making it harmonize with the treble:/

Why don't you work as a studio musician (Nashville seems the obvious choice or Austin)?
