@mdt72 If you flip the effects loop switch on the back of the amp to "Hard Bypass" it will disable the loop as well as the output and solo controls. Each channel then has a Master volume.
hey guys, i really love what i hear from this pedal, but im not sure how it would sound with my setup.
i use an egnater renegade head, valveking cab, schecter c1 hellraiser, active emg's, and my current drive pedal is a little too harsh. do you think you could do a demo of this pedal on that amp with pushing the gain into a smooth saturated overdrive? i would really love you and almost forsure buy the pedal from you guys if you do.

I think all these suhr pedals sound like shit and then they charge you up the ass for a shit sounding pedal, the riot is like a boss ds1 on steroids, and the shiba is like a ts9 on steroids, no character no personality no nothing...I've wasted my share of dough on boutique and expensive pedals and truth is that boutique pedals are as good as your average mxr or boss, proportionately speaking, about 1/4 of the ordinary pedals out there are good just as about 1/4 of the boutique pedals out there are good...so many musicians think if they pay 200 semolians for an od it's gonna be great and it just isn't so.
+Purple Haze I saw this video and there is something really wrong with the audio. This video does not do any justice to the real pedal sound. Avoid this review. I agree that the boss ds1 sounds like shit :D

Thanks! The Suhr guitar in this video is an H-S-S configuration with an SSH+ in the bridge and two ML single coils with the back place silent single coil system. The Shiba Drive will work excellent with the electradyne and a tele. Single coils sound great with that setup.

I don't follow. All guitars have a unique tone. An off the shelf Les Paul & a Fender are two very different guitars, both in pickup configuration & body construction. If anything, the Suhr is the happy medium between the two. It's a 22 Fret strat-shape guitar with humbuckers.
That's a great demo! Very clear as to whats going on at all times with nice clean playing.
All of these pedals are rip offs imo. They could be so much cheaper. Nice pedal though.

you should never demo a pedal with a guitar that has such a unique tone - go w/ a strat/tele/LP, man - the demo doesn't tell most folks much otherwise (why do I have to say this all the time ??!) (playing for 45 years)
