I'm homeless and live most days in a 2 person tent. Being almost hit by lightning with the scars to prove an electrical explosion within 2 feet of me... thunderstorms are the bane of existence. They have completely opened me up to different music! I never watch a video without my Shazam open and ready! =D Ooyy is now one of my major "go-to' artisits!!! #keeponkeepinpon
Else, over the years I’ve watched you become a phenomenal filmmaker. Your work is a thoughtful treasure. If ever you decide, I know your feature films will be phenomenal. You have a true gift for storytelling and it’s been wonderful watching you grow and share your talent. ❤️
I agree. No fluff or filler, just incredible visuals with the camera lingering on a bud here, a cloud there, all with perfectly-chosen music to create a special mood. Pure artistry.
My moms been crocheting for 50+ years and I had showed her your baby blanket you’ve been making and she said that your work is amazing, her words “she’s definitely not new at this, well done!” She’s very happy to see someone your age with such a natural talent! Great job Elsa!
I absolutely love your videos. Have been a fan for about a year now. I struggle so much in "everyday society" and have been building out a school bus for me and my 2 kids. As I get closer and closer to the finish line, working the 9-5 gets harder and harder. Your videos are my escape while I dream and ache of the soon to come future
That blanket beginning is already magical. From a person who has been knitting and crocheting for about 40 years you do amazing work, tight stitch or not.
❤❤❤❤Im so glad I found your channel a couple months ago. I really hope I can go out somewhere and disconnect from the city life and just be with nature. I can find myself stopping and just staring into the sky on cloudy days turning every direction taking picture after picture trying to get the picture that captures exactly what my eyes are seeing. I can only imagine being in this type of scenery. No phone no people no hustle and bussle of daily life. Just one with nature❤❤❤❤❤
And most of my days are spent alone. That is a very dramatic book cover type thumbnail picture. Nice! I can remember living in a tent trailer as a kid when the thunderstorms and hail came down. I'll never forget that sound on the roof.
That hug at the end..made me cry actually . I'm 48 and never experienced love except from God. How lucky people are to have a mate to share life with . No matter the difficulty.
One thing I love about your channel is that you create videos - that even if they are beautiful - are raw and are not trying to glamorize your lifestyle. I feel like so much “van life” type content is intended to make it look like it’s all peaches all the time. You manage to show how lonely it can be (even if you enjoy it) and how boring it can be (not to imply you yourself are bored) and yet we the viewers aren’t bored watching. It’s so easy to see videos of this genre and think wow that looks so perfect and exciting. But it is not for everyone. And that’s what I feel this video subtly hints at, that you treasure your lifestyle, but want people to understand what it is really like. I’ve spent a lot of time alone in a camper in the woods. And there are beautiful moments to that, but you can go out of your mind easily also. Anyways... Wonderful editing and storytelling yet so raw. That’s talent.
Poor Kamp! Hopefully the rain gave him a brief chance to enjoy being outside. The texture on that baby blanket is so cool, you can tell how much effort you've put into it! The hat band is also beautiful.
I don’t know which parts were more lovely: dancing in the woods, silent contemplation during a thunderstorm, shenanigans with Kamp, inspecting that plump caterpillar, your beautiful handiwork, finding such peace when you are quietly alone or your joyful reunion with Barron. You, my dear friend, are living a good life. I show your videos to my teenage girls - everyone should take the time to savor simple pleasures in life like you two have. Enjoy it all!!!
Elsa-the baby blanket that you're making is beautiful! I'm not sure why that little scene touched me so much, but my baby blanket was crocheted by a close family friend and I carried that thing around until it fell apart. It brought me so much comfort, and all the love that went in to making it really showed. Whoever that goes to is going to be very happy to have such a thoughtful gift. Quarantine really makes you think about the little things in life eh? Love the vids!
A few weeks of quarantine has helped me realize how much I love my alone time to... Just me and my dog. Thanks for the videos. I'm still studying and learning....but soon I'll hut the road....lots of stuff to get rid of...
This randomly came up in my feed and I’m so glad it did. What a delightful video! It brought me much peace. Love your free spirit. You are everything that I’d like to be at this point in my life. I’m definitely going to subscribe to your channel.
If I learned anything from quarantine is that I’m so ready for this life. The amount of DREAD that I have going back to work almost gives me an anxiety attack. I decided to take the steps I need to live the lifestyle I want! Whoa! The likes & comments! I can’t wait to read them all. Thanks for the love 💕 I’ve been taking computer classes so I can work from home. Paying down debt like my car note & downsizing! Hit a few snags but the plan in still in motion! I totally feel that same dread 😣😣 I work in an airport restaurant and I also have mini anxiety attacks when thinking about having to go back to work after being on furlough since mid March. I can relate to that. I live with an immunocompromised person so I had to step back from my job 3 mo the ago to protect her and I’m running out of savings so I’ll have to go back soon and move in with a friend... it’s scary and I’m not feeling ready for it
