What a great game.. and sooo underrate. Such a good cast of characters, each with some kind of unique personality.. and then, our speechless hero, with a brave and kind heart. Also, there is Jess :´( , Meia :´( .. so many puzzles and secrets. This surely is one of the best experiences for RPG fans out there in the PS.
My fave ps1 game of all time, all characters had personalities. I like to think of the game as a grown up Zelda. The religious theme is amazing, and the puzzles are great.
When Alundra turns at the end to brave an unknown future... that's just gotta be one of the most epic moments in video game history. Gives me goosebumps!! XD
If you have the booklet that comes with the PSX game, it includes the lyrics both to the credits theme in the original and Western Release. The original seems to clarify why they left each other when read from Meia's point of view (I think that's the most logical view)
That's Kline, who turns into a werewolf during the game. A lot of the events in the ending are flashbacks. You got the dragon, Zorgia (flying gargoyle thing) and Melzas being killed.
Its been many years since ive seen this.After i finished this game,i'd hoped for a good sequal....but they were crap.They tried to go 3D and failed.The team they made the original were the legend team that made landstalker for the genesis.Anyway its great to see this again,i havent seen it since i finished it back in 1998.
One of the best games in PS1. I jsut didnt like one aspect of the ending...Why did they include so many people that maybe didnt exist within the game for the ending cutscene. They should have focused on the real villagers. I could only recognize Beaumont and thats all. Where were Septimus, Lutas, Kisha? Excellent game anyway.

this is one of those games where you have to make a remake or better a next GOOD alundra. (not that bullshit Alundra 2 i mean come on this game is bullshit)

The ending is basically Alundra saying “yo I got some pretty intense trauma from everything that’s happened this past week and I’m gonna peace out”
For me this is the best videogame ever created

Alundra walking into a new adventure that we'll never see at 6:47 still gets me emotional so many years later.
Still one of the best endings (both game and music related) I've ever seen.

In my opinion Alundra 2 was good as well. But Alundra 1 surely has more feel to it. I'd love to see a remaster of it.

It´s sooo damn cool, how the music-writer connected all the great in-game-musics to one orchestral piece for the game-ending.
