Im getting frustrated with this i have homebrew channel on my wii but i cant get any apps to show up (open shop channel specifically) im using a 64gb sandisk usb formatted to FAT32 and following the instructions of every tutorial i see but nothing shows up on my homebrew app. Any tips?

Everything works up until i launch the game. In this case, i am trying wii sports but once i start, it goes black and then sends me back to the USB loader menu. Anyone have any advice on how to fix this?

i cant tell if you are serious or not, that's not his real address, i'm pretty sure thats his wii address (mac), because ip addresses aren't that short.
Was it possibly because it couldn't install on the SD card? I had an issue with that. I needed to make sure it was formatted correctly and then it worked.

For some dumb reason the letterbomb wont show up and I made sure the date and time was right and I had to use my phone to use as a sd card reader to do this so idk if that has something to do with this

I made sure that everything was up to date, the correct version of the console, and such. Its a refurbished wii that I bought not so long ago, but I have no idea why is not working, maybe you can give me some help over here. I will appreciate it
Hi, I have a question: I installed homebrew on my Wii several years ago and no longer have the original SD card. Can I still install and use USB loader is I don't have any of the original files (like the bootmii file etc)? Essentially just going into it raw with only the homebrew already on my system and no pre-existing files on my SD or USB?

Everything is working great. The only issue I am running into is when I hit the home button in USB Loader GX and do either wii menu or homebrew it just stays on a black screen. I can turn off the wii and back on and its fine but wanted to know if there is a fix for that?

I know this video is old. But my apps still don't appear on homebrew even with the apps in the apps folder of the SD Card. I even hit 1 to make sure the SD slot was enabled and they still don't pop up. Any help? Edit: Nevermind, Fixed it.
USB Loader is a joke. it won't fit my screen and there's no way to adjust the GUI scale to make the top settings visible. text disappeared soon after, now can't even see settings
There is no s Card Mode. I cant Switch whole loading to sd card. Then I cant install games... Is there a better Description of what you do. It didn't work for me several times

Hello all, I need advice. After "Install BootMii as boot2" you had there a new menu item "Uninstall BootMii as boot2". This uninstall option did not appear for me even the install as boot2 was successful according to messages on the screen. I tried Return to the main menu and going back, but still no option to Uninstall as boot2. Do I need to repeat the Install or anything? Thanks.

Need help: I have followed these instructions to a tee and everything works til I go to launch a game. Decent guide but it's missing what file structure the games should be in. You named it correctly but a first time user would not realize that's how you're supposed to name/structure the folder for adding games to the wii. I had to search around a bit before continuing with the rest of the guide. Other than that everything worked out great. Thank you!

Great tutorial. I have 2 Wiis sitting in my closet that I picked up at a thrift store for 10 bucks each. They both power on, but by the looks of the fans the internals really need a good cleaning. Thanks for your hard work.

I have one question about copying games from discs that I already have. I tried my copy of twilight princess for the wii, but everytime I try and download it off the disc it starts at 100% and wont let me cancel the download. I have to turn my wii off everytime I try. EDIT: After downloading wbfs files and putting them into a folder on the main flash drive screen called "wbfs", they wont appear in USBLoaderGx
me too i switched from a sd card to Hard disk cause of storage and its not booting without the SD card even though i copied everything on it with both connected i see my hard disk in USB loader but no games idk
Hi! Used this guide a few weeks ago to homebrew my wii and had no issues until a few days ago. I turned on my wii and the remote stopped working past the home screen. The home button is the only one that still works, but I’m unable to select anything with the remote. I’ve tried resyncing the remotes, added new batteries, and checked the sensor bar, but the remotes/sensor bar don’t seem the be the issue. To clarify, I can load all apps, my disc, and priiloader/homebrew, but it’s like the wii cannot sense that the remotes are there and on. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

this tutorial was so informative and helpful!! my wiis been working great for a few months, but i recently ran into a problem if anyone can help! i haven’t changed any of my settings or downloaded anything new, but now when i try to play any game, i’m sent back to the wii home screen or the homebrew channel (depending on how i loaded up usbloader.) the only new thing that happened was my electricity went out, but i’m not sure if that would’ve done anything to it.
if anyone is having trouble at 14:40 in the video for finding "d2x-v11-beta1" make sure your sd cards lock button is not on and it should show up after you reload the installer

Your wii may already have priiloader on it. Turn the wii off. Hit the power button to turn it back on then directly hold the RESET button fpr 10-15 secs to see if the priiloader menu comes up. If it does, go down to Load/Install File and press A. You should see the "letterbomb file" or something regarding the mod. Choose it and the screen should with the screen that says (if you payed you got scammed) then follow the video from that point. Hope this helps ya.
@@yellowbirdie007 Put the SD card with the letterbomb file into the wii. Turn on the wii and directly hold down the RESET button for 10 seconds to see if priiloader menu comes up. If it doesn't then idk why your wii freezes when you click on lettbomb file. If it does then press down to the option that says "load/install file" and press A. You should see the letterbomb file in text or something to that effect.. i ran into the same problem a few nights ago but was able to load letterbomb onto the system this way. That's as simple as I can explain it , hope you get it working, good luck.
Hey Scott thanks so much for the video. I had a question regarding USB loader gx. I tried to download my disc games to my SD card from USB loader GX and it would not allow me to download them . On my screen it says 0.00GB of 0.00GB free so Im not sure if thats the issue but any feedback would be appreciated!
Thank you so much for your Wii Videos ! Now I can play my Wii , Gamecube , SNES , NES , and PSX games on one console without changing the consoles. Also I can view several , not all, dvds. Got also a blueray player , but it's nice. The Wii is such a fantastic console with so many abilities.

I was busy aswell but it took me about 3 days to get the games ready aha and then the entire day to mod it because I struggle lol 😂

What happens if the games don't load? it's giving me a black screen everytime i try to load a game.
My internet does not work (wireless) and don't have a USB to ethernet port. So this was really nice for me.

try to see if the sd card is on LOCK position, this happened to me to, once its unlocked, d3x v11 beta1 would be available

It's most likely the type of usb, I used a 128gb SanDisk and it had the same issue
For it all to work (assuming I have the games on another usb connected), the sd card must stay connected all the time?

Go to USB Loader, settings then to the right and hit custom path and make sure your path for "Titles" is the folder where you have your game backups

the settings you choose for wii u are different than the wii settings, this guide is for the wii

On usb installer how do I get the game to go to the usb and not the sd?

Your wii may already have priiloader on it. Turn the wii off. Hit the power button to turn it back on then directly hold the RESET button fpr 10-15 secs to see if the priiloader menu comes up.
If it does, go down to Load/Install File and press A. You should see the "letterbomb file" or something regarding the mod. Choose it and the screen should with the screen that says (if you payed you got scammed) then follow the video from that point.

If it doesn't then idk why your wii freezes when you click on lettbomb file.
If it does then press down to the option that says "load/install file" and press A.
You should see the letterbomb file in text or something to that effect.. i ran into the same problem a few nights ago but was able to load letterbomb onto the system this way.

Hey Scott thanks so much for the video. I had a question regarding USB loader gx. I tried to download my disc games to my SD card from USB loader GX and it would not allow me to download them . On my screen it says 0.00GB of 0.00GB free so Im not sure if thats the issue but any feedback would be appreciated!

Thank you so much for your Wii Videos ! Now I can play my Wii , Gamecube , SNES , NES , and PSX games on one console without changing the consoles. Also I can view several , not all, dvds. Got also a blueray player , but it's nice. The Wii is such a fantastic console with so many abilities.
