Hi Poxial, congratulations! :-) Maybe for the next competitive challenge you could devise some sort of bingo. You could have a new, randomized bingo card for each season. It would be interesting to see a challenge like not being allowed to earn more than a specific amount of money while also having other tasks that might require a little bit of spending. Also, I remember a video you once did where you weren't allowed to upgrade any of your tools until you had the watering can upgraded to iridium, so maybe you could do something like not being allowed to upgrade anything to iridium until every other tool - including trash can and scythe - are gold. The strange capsule prank was funny, he didn't even suspect you lol. And you both had the same idea for the artifact troves so clearly you guys think alike. Great series and well done to you and Sharky!

Maybe you could have a random challenge wheel in the next one, where you take turns spinning the wheel to pick a challenge for you both to compete for across the whole challenge. That way you couldn't prepare a plan in advance and would have to think on your feet to decide what challenges to focus your energy on. Like who can catch the most fish, farm the most pumpkins etc.
I cant even express how excited i get everytime i see you have a new stardew valley video, they really make my day i watch them all the time no matter if its to fall asleep or when im playing stardew myself, congrats pox you deserve it ^^
If there is anything like the random area selection here, you should change it slightly. The winner of the fishing minigame (or however it's chosen) should spin first, and either get to pick that area or veto it. If they veto, the other person gets it. Basically it makes the winner not get first roll, but get an actual decision. Getting first pick in this one is mathematically pointless, but adding the "skip or take" mechanic would make winning the fishing minigame actually matter.

I really enjoyed watching this series. The variety of tasks made it much better and interesting, and the player zones added a lovely touch of randomness. If you need any ideas for the next one, here's a few. If you can't find a different huge map to use, maybe you could both leave the farm, but the areas you can do stuff like fish/gift/forage/etc in are used as player zones instead, i.e. the bus stop, east and west sides of town, Cindersap Forest, etc. You could even use buildings, or keep them as neutral zones. SVE might be good here as it increases the number of fishing/foraging zones. You could see who could befriend the most villagers. If you do the above with the zones that could be interesting if you can only gift them non-quest items in zones you control. You could also have a Dangerouslyfunny-inspired task of seeing who could marry/divorce the most NPCs. Zone competitions could be stuff like breaking open a omnigeode and whoever's result has the highest total worth gets to spin first. Maybe have both a total amount earned and a most amount left at the end goals, with an agreement to not do a buy/resell trick. You could even add the Market Day mod and compete over who sells the most items or gets the most profit each week. Whoever has the most animals at the end of the competition. Arise, Duck Dynasty! I'd really like to see you and Sharky use Automate as well, in order to give you more time for other tasks.

I think for both of the challenges you guys have done, it would have been nice to see the whole farm layout before you guys sell everything off on the last day. You guys work hard on your farms, and it would be nice to do like a before, after, and then like final version. It would be interesting to see how it developed.
an idea for next round maybe include 1st to complete community centre, if you can find a mod that allows both of you to submit for the bundles separately. Maybe also most friendship hearts/ cut scenes etc.
Future strategy you might be able to use for clearing out large amounts of trees at once is to use bombs! Giga bombs in particular, as you only need to use 5 to destroy a tree, but that effect stays the same throughout the entire radius of the explosion! So you could use 5 giga bombs and chop down 50 trees in like a few seconds, saving loads of time!

For the last challenge you should do a competion that includes similar aspects as this one, as well as points on grandpas shrine. Also I really loved the idea of not leaving the farm and playing on that huge farm. It was so much fun, would love to see that again

That’s true! I think I was doing it for foraging levels, I’m not sure if you still get foraging xp while using bombs? 💜
