My ModdingApi keeps crashing, do you know why that could be? I used all the mods in the list
@@sydnibird9323 some of the prerequisite mods are very out of date and no longer work with the updated SMAPI because the mod authors haven't updated them
I always choose the mushroom cave, because you can put common mushrooms (which you'll have more than enough of with the cave) in the seedmaker for fall-seeds which you can make into tea saplings. For me it's the easiest way to get the seeds for the saplings. Now I only never have fibres :D I didn't get Linus' recipe in my actual save file yet.

@@kowhaifan1249 There is a special quest requested by Linus to gather trash. When you finish it, Linus gives you the recipe for Fiber Seeds
The desert trader sells 1 fiber for 5 stone, absolute lifesaver cause now i can just buy a shit load of stone in Robin's and trade it with fiber instead of painstakingly harvesting them

I pick mushrooms. You can throw them in to the seed makers to get fall seeds and make more lovely tree saplings.
I should be studying for my quarterly exam tomorrow but this popped up, this is a more important task to do for the moment. ❤️✨

btw, if you want a suggestion for a mod that is a real game-changer, I highly recommend Automate. Makes things less grindy and saves time when processing. And, since you have a lot of other things to do, it would certainly help. Fair warning, though--once you get used to using that mod, it's very difficult to do without it.

Great playthrough. I was initially worried that you'd stop after 100 days, because the real meat of some of these mods don't appear until long after that, so it was a relief to see that you want to play 100 MORE days next. I'll be following that closely. I've put hundreds of hours into this game myself, but it's always nice to see the playstyle of other people, and your narration is very good. Keep it up!

I'm kinda curious why UA-camrs never remix their community center bundles. It's super fun, in my book. Starting a run and immediately having to adapt to a new challenge. I never see it, though!

Jokes on you, I play with 100+ mods every day. My laptop can't handle it it freezes every 5mins
I usually go Mushroom cave
Because late game Mushrooms are harder to get
And you can decorate the mushroom cave and it won't impact spawns
My day just went from meh to yeah 🤗 only because of our boy poxial 🥰
Also poxial talking about how the colour scheme is different and my colour blind ass being like i can barley notice. Though the trees being so different (like in the mod) would be very helpful 🙌

I love Artisan valley and the add ons so much, it makes perfection take four years instead of 2. I've not played with SVE or any of the additional town mods but tempted to now.

I really need to try to install those everytime I've tried in the past I always break my game I think I got expanded to work once but doing so broke everything else 😂 it's more stressful than modding skyrim lol
So to find the prismatic jelly you need to be in floors 80 and above to find it easier

Fun fact, the panning with Poxial segments are always so endearing it made me carry around my own pan whenever I go to Ginger Island.

Poxial’s 100 days series are some of the best out there
If it helps, the mobile phone mod seems to add the ability to call robin and build farm structures remotely at any time once you've added her to your contacts. I'm testing it more this playthrough as well as seeing if the same can be said about the other merchants. could help with the whole wasted tuesday issue!
Edit: got Robin up to 4 hearts so she appeared in my phone, and on a tuesday while she was exercising I was able to in fact, build structures and upgrade my house!
He downloaded every mod except the skull cavern elevator mod 😂
that was the only mod i played with for a long time before i also installed what i consider quality of life ones (like NPC locations, UI info, etc.) 😅 i am not very fast with mining, and i couldnt really progress without iridium which made me not want to play anymore so i just caved and finally figured out how to install mods haha i ended up with so much iridium that i felt kinda bad for cheating (and mr. qi didn't comment on the elevator when i got to 100 like he does if you spam staircases)
ive been watching the 100 days video on replay for the past few weeks theyre so entertaining im SO happy to see a new series beginning !!!!!!
I wouldn't expect anything less of a Yanfei main. But def sames.
I have a list of other mods you can use if you feel like, or for those in the comments who are looking for more options for their modded playthroughs :)
there are quite a lot here but please let me know if i missed any important ones.
QOL mods i would definitely recommend include:
-yet another harvest with scythe mod (lets you harvest every crop in the game with a scythe to make harvesting so much quicker, especially for you starfruit/ancient fruit lovers)
-lookup anything (pressing f1 whilst hovering over an NPC shows you every detail about them, including friendship, loved/liked gifts with those in your inventory highlighted etc)
- automatic gates (gates open when you walk near, very helpful)
- expanded fridge (makes cooking much easier as you can get items from any fridge in your kitchen from one screen)
- running late (makes time tick every minute rather than every 10, just a nice QOL change for those like me who dislike the 10 minute clock)
- stack quality (saves SO much space from things like flowers and crops) CURRENTLY BUGS COLLECTION QUESTS
- stack everything (saves space with things like fishing tackles etc)
- walk through trellis (means you can plant hops/green beans without having to worry if you can reach them)
- tool upgrade delivery service (saves going to clint’s every time an upgrade is finished)
-museum rearranger (nice for if you decide you want to reorganize the museum once you have everything )
-zoom level (for people who like to be able to zoom out and see more than the base game allows)
-farmer helper (gives you warnings when crops are too late to be planted, if you missed any watering, pets need petting/feeding etc)
-better friendship (icons hover above NPCs heads showing if you have a gift in your inventory that they love/like and have talked to them today)
-automate (machines automatically take resources from chests, use them and put the product back in the chest)
-enemy health bars (self explanatory, useful for you brave adventurers out there)
-auto animal doors (automates coop/barn doors, like a cat-flap for your animals)
-chest label system (label each of your chests to save using signs/memory)
For some more content based mods there are:
-East Scarp (a large mod that adds a new village to the east of pelican town with new NPCs, fish etc. might be better with a separate playthrough as SVE RSV and east scarp all in one save can be quite overwhelming)
- the love of cooking (breathes new life into cooking with a cooking skill, new recipes, new frying pan to upgrade and more) CURRENTLY BROKEN
-animal husbandry mod (adds a huge range of animal based content, including butchering, new recipes, a new event, a new tv channel and much more)
-prismatic tools (another level of tools after iridium)
-extended minecarts (minecarts now have more locations around the map, not sure how compatible it is with expanded etc but very useful)
- useful sweet gem berries (treats SGB like regular crops that can be kegged etc rather than just being a boring one trick crop)
-date night (your spouse has a chance of asking you for a date night each day with a range of different dates with character specific ones as well, nice when married life becomes a bit stale ;)
-bathroom after 2nd house upgrade (mostly aesthetic but has a bath which works just like the spa)
-canon friendly dialogue expansion (adds a lot more lines of dialogue for vanilla NPCs to make your conversations a bit more interesting)
Aesthetic mods include:
-more hairstyles (lets you choose from a lot more hairstyles when designing your character)
-medieval buildings (only for farm buildings but a cool different kind of redesign to most recolors)
-no more bowlegs (changes character sprites to have normal looking legs, not one piece legs if you know you know)
-babies take after spouse (does what it says on the tin, not sure if compatible with non-vanilla NPCs)
-stardew valley anime mods (adds anime portraits for the vanilla characters, includes their different emotions as well)
-better artisan good icons (recolors wine, juice, jelly etc to whatever fruit/vegetable was used to make it, making identifying which is which much easier)
-elle's new barn and coop animals (redesigns your animals with a range of different designs to choose from. 2 SEPARATE MODS)
-elle's new horses (similar to the mod above, adds a load of new horse designs to choose from)
-elle's cat and dog replacements (you know the drill, new designs for cats and dogs. 2 SEPARATE MODS)
-elle's seasonal buildings (adds a load of different building designs for your farm buildings which you can change whenever you feel like it)
-daisyniko's earthy recolour (recolors the map to make it more easy on the eyes)
-if you like the earthy recolor above you can try the Earthy interface and/or interiors for a similar color palette for the menu's/inventory and the insides of buildings
-mermaid replaces mariner (replaces the mariner who sells you the mermaid pendant with a pretty mermaid)
-seasonal outfits - slightly cuter aesthetic (gives the vanilla NPCs different outfits for each season)
-seasonal outfits - slightly cuter aesthetic for SVE (same as the mod above but for the expanded NPCs)
-dynamic night time (adds a dynamic daylight cycle including a sunrise/sunset etc)
Others (that some may consider cheating but can make the game more interesting/easier) include:
-wear more rings (makes the player have more than 2 fingers that can wear rings up to 10)
-better junimos (gives junimo huts a lot more content with some skill progression involved, you can also pay them to do things as the game goes on)
-better mixed seeds (mixed seeds can give any crop from the season, including ancient seeds instead of just the basic ones. is configurable so as to not be too overpowered)
-self service (use shops even if the owner isn't there, i'm looking at you marnie)
-happy birthday (choose your birthday and all NPCs will give you presents based on your friendship level, can crowd your mailbox as gifts are sent to you the next day if you didn't collect it on the day)
-fast animations (you can configure the speed of certain animations such as geode opening to save valuable time in real life so you can play more Stardew :)
-more backpack upgrades (similar to the one already in Poxial's list but with 2 more upgrades)
- non destructive NPCs (you can place chests/kegs etc anywhere on the map and NPCs will walk through them instead of breaking them)
-luck skill (levels 5 and 10 give some luck based professions)
-no soil decay on farm (helpful when you want to save time on the first day of the new season and you can hoe all the tiles you want planted the night before)

Great mod list! Automate is seriously one of the best mods. Particularly for animals once you get an autograbber and for smelting. It saved me so much time and headaches. It's so good for staying on top of those maintenance things that can easily slip your mind if you're a forgetful person like me.

Love of Cooking currently has a lot of bugs and stuff not working, so I wouldn't recommend it until the author updates it. The other mods are great, and a lot of them I use in my playthroughs. :)

Love to see so many different mods that work. I've only been brave enough to add the seasonal outfits mod for the OG NPCs, I'm in year 7 of my original Farm and honestly that one mod was perfect.
Almost all mods work. Never really had issues with mods not working unless I didn't update them when the base game had an update.
You should see my mod list its about doubled Poxials and everything works wonderfully, the modders are very good in this community, no lag, no crashes, lots of compatibility between the mods etc, def recommend doing a modded run eventually its fun.
I literally use almost 900 mods in my Stardew game lmao and everything is cool

I honestly didn’t think anything could make the dance of the moonlight jellies better, but that reflections mod was gorgeous
the fact that 50 mods is considered "mega" is making me reconsider how necessary my 179 mods are...

With the sheer amount of stuff that is going on in this mod I feel like this is going to be damn near 700 Days of Mega Modded Stardew Valley.... and I am ALL FOR IT!!!!!! Bring on the chaos and comedy! Let there be more of this Premium Content!
Of course Poxial is always Premium Content, but I digress.
I go fruitbats because they can help greatly with clearing bundles depending on your luck.
EDIT: I recommend adding a mod that lets you manually trigger sprinklers. It really helps for seasonal transitions.
But what about after the bundles are done? I pick mushroom cause u can use common mushrooms and put em in the seed maker for fall seeds, and then turn that into tea saplings.

I loved this so much. You inspire me to play Stardew and if I wasn't on a mental health break I so would (I mildly burnt myself out reaching perfection). Also did you know that you can go into the grandpa's farm config files and make the greenhouse bigger? Continue to be you, due to the fact that you are awesome

I recently modded my Stardew Valley like this and one thing I wasn't ready for and hadn't taken into consideration is that you can't get the Community Center open until you do the Introductions quest, which needed me to find 65 people to satisfy it. Didn't get access till after the Egg Festival, felt like a bit of an idiot when I realized what I was doing wrong.
What mod was preventing you from getting the CC open before the introductions quest? That's not part of Ridgeside or the base game.
I've always just nixxed that intro quest since I'm not good at tracking peeps down and I can still open the cc by the end of the week like normal
Clearly some other mod is involved, because nothing is stopping you from getting the community center open and start working on it. Maybe you just didn't enter the town between 9 and 12 AM on a sunny day?
@@farmerash far as I know I don't have a mod that effects the CC at all and considering I only had 5 rainy days that Spring and was buying parsnip seeds constantly I'm sure I passed through town at the right time for it to trigger.
The only thing that changed between the times it didn't work and when it did was finishing up the introduction and gifting quests, boom instant cutscene.
The intro quest has no bearing on whether the cc opens. There are no mods that do that and neither does the base game.

i like to pick mushrooms, the mass amount of common ones are perfect to carry around whenever you're doing something that will take up all your energy (for me, especially fishing since that's all i seem to do)
A little late now I know but you should add the “Right click to activate sprinklers mod” Just so you don’t have to rewater at the start of seasons.
I'm so excited for a new 100 days series! And I use a lot of those mods myself and the Ridgeside mod is so fun (I also have East Scarpe which has More NPCs haha)
Also the fact you ended this 100 days with 100,001G is very funny to me.
I always choose mushrooms because I’m able to buy fruit trees but there’s no alternative way to make mushrooms that I’m aware of, and I’m a creature of habit

Sve, ridgeside, deepwood. Those are too few to called mega modded bro. You need eastscarb, downtown zuzu, mermaid island, walk to the desert, walk to the moon, to be atleast for what I call a mega modded stardew vallley.

I do mushrooms in the cave because it's a passive way to collect life elixirs
These videos keep coming on automatically for me I'm not complaining because I'm completely engrossed everytime but they immediately make me want to stop what I'm doing and play stardew valley
