    Good evening, George. There were several things outside that interested me. I'd like to browse a place like that. I liked that _Moss Rose_ syrup pitcher. Ink wells have always interested me. I remember when they were highly sought after and collected. Loved the lady statue! There were a lot of kerosene lamps there that caught my eye. The cranberry Victorian one was fantastic. So nice to see one that hasn't been monkied with and converted to electric. I have one of the _Delaware_ sets. That kitchen cupboard was nice and priced extremely reasonably. There were a couple pond boats that caught my eye. I wish I had space for a collection of those. That was a phenomenal place, with tons of interesting items! Thanks for taking us along!

    • @TheAntiqueNomad
      @TheAntiqueNomad  Місяць тому +3

      I'm glad I got the Moss Rose, I like old syrups and that pattern for some reason as well. Ink wells get my attention too, I also was pleased to find one I could afford. Wasn't that cranberry lamp amazing? I haven't seen one with that depth of color in ages. Delaware catches my eye because I have relatives there, I think the flower is some form of phlox that grows there. I should've found a way to fit that cupboard in somewhere for $75! Of course, right after I left it, I sold a piece in a mall and then needed something like it to fill the space...oh well. I always liked pond boats but they are space hogs, had one as a kid but the keel was too deep for our shallow pond and we never had a place to display it. I really enjoyed this place because there were true antiques as well as vintage, glad you did too!

    • @CONSTELLATION_PEGASUS
      @CONSTELLATION_PEGASUS Місяць тому +1

      @@TheAntiqueNomad I like old syrup pitchers, too. If I hadn't started collecting the beverage sets, I would've likely collected them. That was a very good price on the ink well. I bet that cranberry lamp would be beautiful lit by a flame. Isn't that the way it always happens, like with the cupboard - find a great piece for a really good price, not get it, then find out you should've. That's happened to me more times than I'd care to think about. At $75.00, that was a really good price for the cupboard. I would've likely gone back after it. Yeah, the pond boats are space hogs, and so are my beverage sets. I have a few pond boats and would like more, but I've nowhere to put them. That was a super-cool place to shop and browse!

Got them home and after removing them from junk plastic frames I see the supposed 75 year old photos are a fresh print from a home printer. Neither tags had any note of being reproduction.
