Great stuff. Im excited to see the next test :-)
I remember when the van de graaff was donated to John by Mel Winfield. It wa a vital piece. There are some short videos on Mels website that shows a block of wood on a balance scale, and it looses some mass sitting next to the van de graaff.
Thanks Bob!! You will make history with this replication!!

I think John Bedini used magneto - toro - electric clusters to charge classic lead batteries. If I understood it correctly, Bedini induced longitudinal standing waves in the coil using impulses and charged the battery with the negative part of the pulse (the positive part was doing work). He charged the batteries using potential energy and not electric current. Such a battery then behaves differently from a commonly charged battery and therefore must not be together in one electrical circuit. Such a battery lasts a little longer (5-10% longer). When the load is disconnected from the battery, the battery is self-recharged (can be repeated several times for one initial charge), ... eg video: Energy from the Vacuum - 07 - Tesla's Impulse Technology - Cut nebo Tesla's Impulse Technology Plus: The Bendini Cole Window Motor (2009)

Paul Harris walked me through the history of these devices, apparently the structures generated blow the sulphates off the electrodes and allow even old lead acid batteries to be recharged, however, ultimately they destroy the battery.

@@MFMP I can't comment on that because I don't have personal experience with it. I will just mention the opposite opinion. Aaron Murakami, Peter Lindemann, Paul Babcock have decades of experience with this technology. I hope I'm not wrong in saying that they personally use batteries that have been charged this way for 40 years or more and are still as good as new. Aaron sells chargers based on the Bedini principle.
Whatever the case, I mainly just wanted to mention that batteries charged in this way are said to behave differently than batteries charged in the normal way. And when you mentioned the oddity with laptops, I remembered that.

I'm fairly new to this field, although I've been chasing different experimental ehteric energy contraptions on and off for quite some time.
Has anyone here come across Keshi the Iranian nuclear scientist?
He was heavily into "gans" using all sorts of different mechanisms.
Lots of controversy linked to him..
I was wondering whether the thunderstorm generator had any similarities to whay he was "trying" to show?
He went off the radar a few years back.

I was chosen to light a Bunsen burner with my finger whilst my other hand was on a Van der Graf generator at school 42 years ago. It’s always fascinated me, as have many other theories. Having an open mind about our possibilities is essential.

Pity that there's so little interest in this stuff. Then again, nobody has seemed to be able to recreate John Hutchison's experiments successfully, and most people have just given up. The state he himself posts videos these days makes most people to just discard him as a total looney. I still think he is legit, but it will stay a mystery for many more years how he did what he did.

@@Hutchison-o5g a recent paper i cant source was actually confirming the supersolid (like superliquid) state and in this state there are tornadoes of atoms rearranging like a liquid yet its a solid..... sounded 100% like how you get wood or stainless steel in to a block of iron.... did you see this? do you think the scalar aspect was what caused the weirdness?

Those are not Tesla Coils!!! Go read Colorado Springs Notes January 2, 1900 entry and compute the velocity or propagation for Tesla's 100 turn extra coil winding based on his measured period and wavelength. The problem with electrical engineers is that they have no concept of propagation above the light constant due to exclusion of the mutual magnetic coefficient, and Tesla didn't bother to explicitly calculate the velocity in that journal entry.
