Good to see you are doing well! I'm glad to hear everything went smoothly and according to plan. (Aside from the nose thing... 🤭) Can't wait to see the final result! 😎
Just amazed by your recovery! Guess that a skilled surgeon, good health and a positive outlook makes a world of difference. Glad to see that you're well on your way to a lap at the nordshleife!
I’m looking into getting the same surgery. It makes me feel a whole lot lot better that one of my idols has gone through the same procedure. Thank you for being so transparent about this process and sharing your journey with us, it has brought me a lot of comfort!
@@mgcharoudin would love to learn more as well. I too know the feeling of my lower teeth closing over my upper. It's been hard, especially during the school years.
Fantastic to see your amazing recovery just shows what a positive mental attitude can to for all ,keep up the Fantastic work, think Pancake my have also had a big part in your recovery, nice work Mate🙏🙏
I am a dentist and a track addict like you. I commend you for going through this life changing surgery. Because it will change your life. It will truly change your bite and appearance dramatically, you can’t put a price on the benefits you’ll receive over your lifetime. Good luck on the rest of your recovery Misha!
The moment you realised that your jaws are positioned the right way really got me. I have the same problem and seeing that it’s possible to fix it really makes me want to get my things together so i can afford to fix my jaw as well. Happy to see that your recovery is going great!
You sound fantastic Misha. Thanks for the great update on how you’re doing. Congrats on 90k! Keep up the rest and recovery. There’s a busy track waiting. My friend is coming to the ring in a couple weeks. I will tell him to look for you and say hello. Wish I was going there too.
Never posted any comment on youtube but I just have to say you are such a hero and ai really admire the courage to go through the surgery AND "expose" yourself like this (considering everyone on the internet is so image desperate). What a hero! Speedy recovery 🙏!
Misha, you look amazing! Congratulations on being brave enough to tackle a medical issue that was bothering you and thank you for sharing it with us! Get well soon!
You’re positivity after such a big procedure is inspiring. It will speed up your recovery no end. Well done, keep it going and thanks for sharing it with us
Man, your experience with getting double jaw surgery has been so much different than my own. Besides having to share a room with another patient, your hospital stay looked nice. Mine was absolutely awful. I got my double jaw surgery done at a hospital in Washington, D.C., called Medstar, and it was so ghetto compared to your hospital. They also tried to kick me out as soon as possible, basically within 24 hours, whereas they let you stay for 3 days. And while you'd probably wish you could have gone home within 24 hours as well, you don't realize that you might have experienced all sorts of terrible complications like I did. They didn't give me a feeding tube down my nose or drain blood from my jaws. They brought me standard hospital food that I couldn't even freaking eat. I also had to eat everything through a syringe - which was absolutely disgusting and so, so difficult. As a consequence, I was only consuming about 600 calories a day, if that, for the first few days after my surgery. I also had to use a syringe to squirt tons of pain killers and antibiotics into the back of my mouth, which were absolutely disgusting, burned my throat, and caused me to cough and gag constantly. And then I ended up having to go to the emergency room 3 days after my surgery because my lips fused together and my nostrils got almost completely clogged because they were constantly bleeding and getting filled with blood clots. The nasal sprays they recommended that I buy didn't work, and so I almost died. I was also in absolutely excruciating pain with the worst earaches that I've ever experienced in my entire life. My lips were also much more swollen than yours. And I had an insanely annoying splint in my upper jaw for 6 weeks which made everything so difficult. I couldn't even sip water without choking. It also made me drool constantly, which would accumulate in my throat when trying to sleep and make me cough. And so I barely got any sleep as well. I should have done more research on jaw surgeons and flew out to get it done by an oral surgeon who actually knew what he was doing. Fuck my life.
Misha, for heaven’s sake, that is amazing! Vlogging after a week. Looking in focus at your lips and mouth, you look totally different and hopefully what you expected. Hope you are happy! That’s all!!
Hey Misha, I am very glad that everything went well and you are already up on your feet and talking to us again. That's awesome, super happy for you! :)
I have been told to have same surgery by doctors but couldn’t to do it because I was scared and there were no person tell their experience and the results. A big thank you for these vlogs
Great news Misha 👍 keep hanging in there mate. I've had the channel playing in the background of my days to add views and support where I can 🤙 take it easy mate.
Красава :) Желаю скорейшего восстановления и возвращения на трек. А я вот встрял за эту неделю на операцию... но глазную, поймал какую-то хрен в переднюю часть правого глаза (между роговицей и глазным яблоком)... страшно что п-ц...
I’m so happy for you! The lifestyle change and surgery, your dedication is exemplary and definitely inspires life change aspirations in me as well. Most likely pretty corny, but your content has definitely helped me to stay positive. I’ve been suffering more or less from Crohn’s disease since 2015, went through very large surgery, pain and depression. Being sick and in pain all the time really keeps me tired all the time and my work performance suffered, which caused stress and I got very bad anxiety problems. I lost all my self esteem and started hating myself for being a lazy person and a burden to other people. I’ve been working on my problems and I’m better than in a long time. Watching your driving, Nürburg life, helping out with the flood chaos and especially you getting Pancake really gave me positive energy! I’m not sure what I’m trying to say, but thank you for being you and inspiring me to do better!
Science and doctors are incredible. Imagine having this sort of surgery 25 years ago, they'd probably put braces on your whole head that would interfere with your phone reception! Your videos will help a lot of people in the same situation, thank you!
Can't say I relate, but seen the same kind of procedure up close as a very close family member underwent the same. Good to see your recovery is evolving well. Hope to see you back on track soon!
Hey Misha, I recently had surgery myself. The moment everything “holding me together” was removed fully was a powerful moment. Everything goes up from here. Keep looking up, friend.
Well done 👏🏻👏🏻 I also had jaw surgery last year in December. Thank goodness it was only my upper jaw but I must say that I was so anxious on the day of the operation like everyone else going through this so basically a rollercoaster ride but it was well worth it in the end. I also had no pain at any point which I also find significant when your jaw basically got fractured, it’s just mind blowing 🤯 to notice how well the body is capable of healing. The body is really so so amazing. Mentally it was really hard for me to cope seeing myself like this but in the end one gets through everything and you just grow even more through hardships. Much luck and take care
Glad you are listening to the doctor. The only thing worse than recovering once is recovering twice. I know because I had a surgery where they missed something and 2 weeks later I was back to square one. That hurt more than the surgery. I love your channel so take your time and get well.
Fijn om te zien dat je herstel zo goed gaat. Je gaf zelf al het antwoord, door je training vooraf aan een goede conditie, dat heeft je er snel door heen geholpen.
We are all so pleased that your recovery is going so well, hopefully you will continue to have such good news and this will soon be behind you, much like the other auto's on the track.
Congrats on your recovery. Nice to see you back home. Its a funny feeling in the throat when they pull out the feeding tube. Weird that no bruses had formed yet. Even with the swallen face there is some massive change to be seen. Good on ya.
Good to hear your recovery is going that well. I remember that after my mums surgery the swelling took almost a year till it was completely back to normal. But she is also very happy with the result. I never thought about your anxiety, even I still noticed your situation.
Way to plow through that whole thing Misha. You're tackling it like a champ. Glad to hear all is well with the recovery process. Keep it up and it will all be a thing of the past soon. Heal up.
When you heard the doctor say "wunderbar!" looking at the x-ray that must have felt like winning the lottery! So pleased for you that it all went so well. Hats off to your wonderful surgeons and the whole hospital team. I think you look pretty darn good considering what you just went through. I was wondering if the dog was a little confused with your new look, it looked a wee bit confused. Welcome back and I look forward to seeing your videos. 👍👍🇨🇦
