- In this video, we go insane trying to beat a Pokemon in a very specific way thanks to the no EXP patch provided to me for Pokemon X. This video took a pretty decent amount of time to make, so be sure to like, comment, and subscribe, and I'll catch you guys on next week's video!

You literally can’t not catch the x y box art legends btw. They have an extremely high catch rate and even if you have no pokeballs some magically appear in your inventory just so you can catch it. And if you knock it out you get to try again immediately.

no, actually. You do get another chance, but not till after you beat the Pokemon League I'm pretty sure.
Ethan Swartz that’s for the Pokémon you can actually go back to the encounter area.X y you literally can’t go back to the area you catch the box legendary cuz it’s blown up so they force you to catch it then so you can always have it.
-Go for the battle without any pokeballs
-Get some pokeballs to catch it
-Defeat him
-Go to the pokecenter
-Deposit the pokeballs into the PC
-Repeat
Result: infinite pokeballs and/or infinite money (STONKS SUCCESS)
It's so weird seeing the rival doing decent against the player in this game 🤣

I totally get what you’re saying about the whole “thinking one Pokémon has an additional type when it doesn’t”, like, I could have sworn Yamper and Boltund from SwSh were Electric/Fairy but they’re pure electric
Murph Plays I genuinely always thought Politoed was part grass until the Isle of Armor DLC came out. I also thought Yamper and Boltund were part normal until reading this comment rip. I have so many examples of this too

This was a really interesting run. Wide variety of useful Pokemon. You picked a great game to do it in with, and I'm sure you noticed, the insanely high level curve of X and Y. It's bonkers how high their levels get so fast. Very nice!
Also I'm pretty sure Valerie is not human.
Korrina's only move to even hit ghost types is Rock Tomb on Machoke; Hawlucha doesn't even have a flying type move. That's why her fight was so easy with Golett, since Rock Tomb would have done negligible damage even without the Iron Defenses.

The reason why Korrina's AI is so weird is that her Meinfoo and Hawlucha just can't hit Ghosts, and her Machoke only has Rock Tomb to hit them, so her AI is trying to get a 1 hit KO using Leer.
Makes sense, I didn't really look at movesets for that many fights since I wanted to try to make it as difficult as possible.
@@ChaoticMeatballTV Yeah. X and Y move sets are terrible in general. Don't know why they kept using Quick Attack though. That makes no sense from what I know of the AI (The things I know is that AI likes to preserve PP if any move will KO, and will use the weakest move against the target to KO, and that the AI will usually only switch if they can't damage, but some trainers won't. The AI also wants to go for 1 hit KOs, and will use defensive/offensive modifiers first to do so).
There's maybe two Pokemon in the entire Gym that can even touch Ghost-types. Movesets and team compositions in this game are wack

Exp is the reason the game is easy, so no glitches and exp is like. If the game has black 2 with a challenge mode

And people said XY are too easy. Yea the lack of full movesets in major battles was a mistake but turning off exp share, turning battle mode to set & not overgrinding makes these games much harder.

You can beat any Pokemon game after Platinum without even TOUCHING THE CONSOLE. These games are so easy nowadays.

The fighting gym only has ONE trainer in the entire gym that can do anything to a ghost type because of Oder sleuth

X and Y are really easy games, they're definitely the easiest I've played but this is still mad impressive.

Also yea, I love X and Y, it's tied with Black and White as my favourite, but the pacing is really off and they ignored a lot of chances to deepen the story since it feels like very little happens before Lysandre trys to kill the entire region. Also the gym leaders are definately a drop in skill and power, did you know that Korrina's Hawlucha doesn't even know 4 moves?

ChaoticMeatball - for me personally, i always think the premiers are a video and click on them expecting to watch the content right away, only to then realize i have to wait. if i clicked on the premiere, i was always going to end up watching the video anyway, but now i have to wait. i dont pay attention to schedules of any youtubers, so seeing stuff in my inbox is like a nice surprise

Would you try fire red without buying items or healing at pokemon centers or other free full heals? Surprisingly not super hard ( though it is hard between misty to beating silico thiugh after its basically over )

The elite 4 have 4 pokemon because they then have their own elite 4, and the champion isn't an elite 4 member she's the champion so she has 6

The XY trainers tend to have less than 4 moves and most not that good for whatver reason
