I suffered from a concussion, hip, knee and shoulder injury in one season because i never had breaks. my brother messed up his knee really badly playing hockey aswell. I think that right now this kid may think he loves the sport but will soon dislike it because he grows up and becomes rebellious hes going to feel like its forced on him. Again? Whether you compare it with Crosby or McDavid, stop putting pressure on children by calling them: "the new ...", then they can't stand the attention and high expectations and end up in forgotten prospects.

In the age of social media it’s so easy to market your kid and go viral. Back in the day you truly had to be special to get recognition and interviewed by a broadcasting network. Example Sidney Crosby.
