just a tip : don't take thin and green branch like he did in the video, it's true that it will grow roots but it doesn't have a high survival rate like a brown and thick branch
It is very easy to get roots in water but it difficult to keep it alive once planted in soil. I have done it in water and after planting to soil few days later some are dried and some of them are getting weaker! Do not have any idea how to keep them alive!
Please help, I took a Jasmine cutting about two months ago, I took a chance and put it in water, I expected it to die because I never changed the water or added water but it didn't wilt. About two weeks ago, I noticed roots growing, and today, even more, longer roots, but I feel it's not ready to repot. I'm worried that they might die in the soil if not taken care of properly, it's the first time I ever tried this with unexpected success. I would like to repot it successfully, any advice?
If the roots is already established..put it in the soil mixture now.. And give lots of water in the first day of planting and frm next give less water... Soil mix should be well drained Use Cocopeat, Varmicompose or cow dung compose and sand, garden soil... Place the plant in indirect sunlight in bright light Area
I doubt this works. Ive correctly tried to root various jasmines many times in soil and water. The best you will get is a weak root on a half dead stem. THE ONLY RELIABLE WAY TO ROOT ALL JASMINES IS AIR LAYERING
Love this plant wilk try it
Best of luck
Thank you for the very helpful information!

You explained it well 👏👍

Do you change the water everyday? How to prevent rot?
Two times a week... When you see the roots plant it in the pot.
Can you please tell me if I can use the older stems on the plants thank you
Yes you can

Its work
@@johnsonenglengindian water and soil must have super powers.
Not true that air layering is the only reliable way. I successfully rooted 3 gardenia cuttings in soil and now I’m going to try water.
@@lengl1125 Was you success in water, after months? I tried few times in soil, in Taiwan, all failed.
