this actually reminds me of my dedicated times of serching how to transform my windows pc to touch screen and it never worked but this is actually funny to think there was a way, it's really heart warming i feel you. keep up th good work.
This is incredible to hear. When touch screens were still super new I wanted to make my laptop have one so bad. Thank you for your kind comment, I really appreciate it
I am here struggling to get this done...smoothboard is not working for the new macs. As a teacher it is frustrating that there isn't a product by now that can do this seamlessly and it's too expensive to get a smartboard.
I've always wanted to make use of these peripherals since they are intuitive for TV stuff. But no luck for my cheap android TV box. And I wonder why there's no similar solution for remote controlling. Navigating with up down buttons just feels slow
I always like videos trying to make touch work on Mac… I have a couple of touchscreen monitors that do work with my M1 Mac Mini but not all the time. And of course touch works much better on a Windows VM than on MacOS, that does not have multi touch support but only «mouse style» touch support, so no gestures etc… I recently ordered a dedicated 15.6in 4k touch monitor for my M1 Mini (I work with 2 monitors, a smaller one below and a larger one above), which will replace my iPad working with sidecar… Hope touch will work…..
Not a lot of folks have stumbled on this video, and not many people care as much about the Wiimote from over a decade ago. Thanks for the comment though!
I really enjoy your DIY project videos! Your videos deserve so many more views. Keep it up!
Thank you! I love doing it and really appreciate the support!

Can it work on the Wii sensor bar?

That's too bad, if I find a way I'll let you know!
the idea is not only for a laptop to be touchscreen... but maybe a projector or a TV.... like for a classroom or a conference room
Agreed! I just applied it to laptops!
Where did you get the pen from. Is it only in America?
I am trying to do this on my MacBook Air, any suggestions?
I tried for a while to get my MacBooks Bluetooth to recognize the Wiimote, but it didn't work
