Robert thank you! I really wanted to see the Panoramic and you are the only one to visit. Unlike most youtubers, LOVE that you don't talk over the person you're interviewing, well done!!
Here's a company that knows how to build a class B van, real deep square sink, dometic DS1 gas double burner with the steel grates. A window in the bathroom plus a lot of other good things that the big companies aren't giving us. I really like this model I'm going to look into it further. GOOD JOB WHOEVER DESIGNED THIS !
Philippe designed and engineered. We own a 2023, quality is unbelievable and so far beyond any other brand in same price range. We looked for 5 years before ordering a Pano. Rented alot of popular manufactures models. None compare😁
Please open a US dealer soon! We need more of these compact, sleek, and streamlined European styled class B RVs. Europe can't always have the coolest RVs :)
I agree. But you can’t get one is the big problem. But definitely my favorite. We own a 22/23 Travato 59 G. FYI. We like it and you can find one easily when you are ready to buy. I’d rather have the Panoramic, but can’t get one quickly.
This is my favorite class B design. I would use the shoe storage under the seat for pantry canned goods etc and use the wine rack shelves by the bed for my shoes. Perfect!
This might even be more wise than you realize. One of the few knocks that people have on the Panoramic design is that the "wine rack" is too close to one of the hot air vents so when the heater is on you have hot air blowing right onto the wine. Put your shoes there instead and you have nice toasty shoes in cooler weather and the wine is safe and sound elsewhere.
Very good presentation for vanlife customers. I like that they are manufacturer and dealer. We love our glamping space in our Grand Design, but I get the ease of vanlife. Thanks, Robert.
Great idea to have the outside shower on the passenger side, it never made any sense to me to put it on the driver's side. Rinse something off, then have to walk around getting it dirty again to get in the camper.
An interesting vehicle and very European style. That was clearly a Fiat Ducato, but rebranded as Dodge which was a little surprising for an European like me. Today I was in caravan and travelling fair in Helsinki Fair Center here in Finland. There were many interesting things to see.
Very nice layout. I’m not sure if I like the bed being one solid piece. It’s just me and I prefer twin beds or options to have other ways. Looking for more of something to be able to park and leave at the camp.
It's a trade off. The problem with any beds that run lengthwise is how much length they take up in a vehicle that is only about 20 feet long. Twin beds means that you have no seating at all other than the front seats and the beds themselves in any vehicle this short. Step up to a long wheelbase Sprinter (24 feet) and you can have both, but not in a Promaster and arguably not even in a Transit. It also eliminates all the extra storage that having a fixed bed like this model has. In any twin bed model, you basically have no "garage" storage at all.
Even though this is a very different floorplan, for my money this is an alternative to the Travato 59G. Both feature a lot of rear storage, a fixed or semi-fixed bed, seating in the front around a table (and both feature three-point seatbelts for rear passengers). That said, the front "lounge" in this van seems like it is more spacious and comfortable than the Travato and most definitely has the better table. The bed also appears to be quite a bit better in this van versus the Travato, as does the kitchen (more counterspace, better sink). The Travato's rear corner bathroom is probably a little more roomy, but it is also a dark hole by comparison. I do like that they removed the bathroom sink from this van (something that InTech does in some of their smaller travel trailers). As someone who is 6'3", I will gladly trade having to use my kitchen sink for bathroom purposes for more room in the bathroom any day of the week and, let's face it, the bathroom sink in most class B vans is a tiny little piece of kit anyway comparable, at best, to that found in an aircraft lav. All in all, I think this is the floorplan for me and I am surprised that none of the big boys in the class B market seem to be emulating it. I would like to see them step up their lithium game and introduce something more comparable to the Li3 models that Coachmen has. I portable induction cooktop a la the new Winnebago Sprinter-based Ekko would be a nice feature as well.
@@TravelingRobert I own a 2023 Panoramic. Concerning customer service, for simple issues Panoramic has great phone/email/video support. They are great to talk to on the phone, and very patient. They respond to emails promptly. For things that the owner cannot handle, Panoramic will help locate a nearby RV dealer or mobile repair person to do the service, work with that person, and pay them directly when the work is completed. An owner can also bring the van to one of Panoramic's 2 locations for warranty work: Montreal and Simi Valley. I am also aware of a situation where Panoramic flew a tech to the owner because troubleshooting determined that Panoramic may have wired the wifi incorrectly. So, a tech hopped on a short flight and made it right. While no company or RV is perfect, and while the lack of a dealership network may not work for everyone, in my experience Panoramic has worked hard to build both an excellent product and great customer service. The van is so well thought out; it is obvious owner Phillipe Marcotte has done a lot of van camping. The build quality is also the best I've seen. The van is genuinely quiet when you drive it (unless it's your own poorly packed stuff rattling around). The tanks are the largest you can get on a Class B, allowing for 3-5 days of boondocking even with some short showers thrown in. The 600 Ah lithium battery is really robust. Panoramic is a fairly new company so I took a bit of a chance buying from them. However, since owning the van and dealing with them, I've become an even bigger fan. Phillipe and his crew are nice people, very knowledgeable and passionate about their product. Current Panoramic owners are also very active on Facebook and Instagram, giving each other ideas and tips, and interacting with the company online. Panoramic takes its customer feedback seriously and have made some modifications or added more choices based on that feedback. They also do factory tours when requested. Finally, they are competitively priced with the other known "quality" manufacturers. I am glad to see Phillippe and Panoramic RV getting some well-deserved recognition. There is a waitlist. You might wait almost a year to get your van after ordering it, but the wait was worth it for me. I hope Panoramic continues to grow as a company, but not too much, if you know what I mean. It's been nice still having the personal touch that you lose with the larger RV companies.
What a shame at that price that you have an old propane stove. Should be built in induction either single or double. Pretty thin regular style rv mattress that would need a topper to be comfortable. Still in the top 3 from what I saw on youtube at the Tampa show.
I own a 2023 Pano. The mattress is high quality and very comfortable. We have Temperpedic bed at home ($8k). Manufacture has a thicker mattress as an upgrade, not necessary. This class B is absolutely high quality and unique design thruout
Quarter million dollar vans, sure, I'll pick up 3 or 4 in different colors. One will be to travel north, one for travelling south, and maybe just one to go east or west. So I don't have to steer as much, ya know?💰🤑💰
#1, Not sure why he's mentioning metric measurements, while he's showing this in the US, most people in the US will have no clue what he's talking about.
My moms used to drive vans but they were just regular vans only NOT specialized like these🚘 . But she would have ❤ to driven one if she was still living R.I.P moms ❤💐 . Nice van show casing. @Traveling Robert

Thanks for taking us along Robert. Many of those class B vans are really nice ! The cost of them !! Not so nice ! 😬lol

Wow. That’s beautiful!!
Great unit, thanks Robert

All RV's eventually need service. How do they handle warranty work with no dealer network.
Good question

Nice rig the Europeans make quality products. But the curtains for the bathroom would be the deal breaker for me.
@3:00 I have no idea who is supposed to fit on that mattress. Doesn't seem like you can be bigger than 5 feet.
Promaster vans are over 6 feet wide
The bed is 57" wide by 74" in length. A full-sized queen is 60"x80" for comparison.

You always need a door to have privacy especially for a woman.
I love the Panoramic, but you can’t get one. This is the problem.
A huge mistake building anything in the opening for the sliding door. And no actual windows that open really suck.
Windows have operable awning style, Philippe just didn’t point them out. Can leave open in rain. I own a 2023, its perfect
I knew it must be expensive with all the excuses before the reveal
My only concern is that one day you will be influenced by the Americans and degrade your product....
#1, Not sure why he's mentioning metric measurements, while he's showing this in the US, most people in the US will have no clue what he's talking about.
Smart people will know they can google and use a free conversion calculator. It’s not rocket science.
Agree with you. When in US speak US.
Metric is used more around the world. Get familiar with it, and it will be helpful to you.
