- The Croatian Haircut - Old Town Dubrovnik. Filmed in the Old Town of Dubrovnik where there is this great little barber shop (Muski Frizerski Salon) that has been in the same family for a couple generations. A fantastic atmosphere and a unique travel experience!

Did this barber shop have war bombing damage outside? Im pretty sure I had them shave all the hair off my head on one of those crazy hot summer days.

I love the atmosphere in most of your films. The owner of the shops shown their life and inner , damn don't know the word. Mean that's like their little Kingdom no wife in their. Living room. Voll cool eben.

I'd ask him to take his time with the haircut, so I could take in all the fascinating items on the walls.
I used to go to a barber from Iraq, he use to give old fashioned wet shaves - took his time with each customer, and was very reasonably priced.
Ah, brings me back so many great memories. Please come and get me for your next trip, I need a life, lol.

Harry, I recommend you to to go to Bosnia for a haircut, The barbers there do an amazing job and give you a nice makeover.The Salons are small and tidy and the barbers are friendly and very entertaining. It aint luxury as much its the amazing haircut. Have a great day Harry.

Thanks for watching ... I was made aware of this AMSR stuff a few weeks back. Interesting idea/theory. I think this one, the Istanbul Bazaar and Bombay haircut seem to be the popular ones for this :-)
This place was very interesting, the shop had been in the family for a few generations and was like a mini museum :-)
Just got my hair cut here 30 minutes ago. He is also a wet shave pro. He was drinking beers during the haircut but this just added to the experience. Awesome job! Cheers

It was a great little place and the barber had so many stories having been working in this location for a couple generations :-) So many tourists walk straight past without realizing it this place is there.

Have watched the Cliff Las Vegas haircut a few times recently and this video offers such stark contrast in the size of the scissors and how quiet his clippers are compared to Cliff's.
Honeymooned in Dubrovnik in 1981. I had hair then and five years later it was gone. I envy you guys who are able to spend time in the barbers chair - but maybe not this one!

It was a new camera and the 2nd time MysteryWoman used it, so I think we were having a quick check-up on the camera at the beginning :-) There was quick a lot of audio activity in this one!!!

Thanks Ricardo. Mystery Woman is on camera … and she is doing a great job considering I keep handing her my cameras that she has never used before and she has never studied film before. Then to top it all of, we have shot these in sometimes some very tight spaces and straight, so there is no time to think about what to film or try out different things!! :-)
