It's weird to see comments like this when I've literally never had small talk with a barber. I usually go to cheap foreign barbers so maybe that's why. Idk.
I see what he did there at 20:30. That's quite clever. He used the white powder as a marker of sorts so that he could evenly blend it as he goes, since as he travels upwards while cutting the white powder will disappear as the hair falls off with it. So he can use the powder as a guideline to make sure the whole thing is even, since he's only using scissors.

Actually, when he speaks with Korean, he talks too much lol 😅 I expected ASMR, but feeling like teacher's lecture.
Best barber I've ever seen and the part were he checked himself in the mirror. Pure attention to detail. Why I love the oriental focus very attentive...
I'm not gonna lie. At first I was perplexed and incredulous about this one. Then, I was astounded about this gentleman. Wish I had the money to visit this shop. Top 3 favorite of all Harry's vids.
Which are those other two? 😊
@@miawee6041 The Lisbon Portugal haircut and The Azores haircut.
@@miawee6041 The Dharavi Slum Mumbai is good too. It's really the only video I've seen where when Harry says it's up to them, that kid really changed it up and showed what he could do. He had some really good skills in my opinion. Best final look on Harry I've seen.
@@affluentimaginings azores 🖤
@@affluentimaginings i love route 66 video. So emotionaly touching, idk
This gentleman should be awarded a national cultural treasure award, if they have such a thing there- one of my favorite vids Harry, thanks!
wow an old school professional service you don't see much anymore these days, the salon looks modest but he make so much effort in your comfort it looks more enjoyable than most fancy high end places... and most importantly, Mr. Lee is such a master with scissors!!!
If he were here in America , he would be making a fortune in California !!!!
@@howardwayne3974 Right
OMG, he was finally in Korea!!! I subscribed this channel since 2013 but i didn’t expected that he made the video in Korea...😆😆so many thanks and i hope that he was happy and enjoy at Korea. 환영합니다, 좋은 시간 보내셨길 바라요. 좋은 영상 감사합니다!😊😊
Me at the beginning of this video: Theres no way im going to watch a guy getting a haircut for 35 minutes
Me at the end of the video: THATS IT???
🤣

What do you expect? Look at the title u idiot! "HAIRCUT AND HAIRSTYLE" lol
Haha yeap, I want more!
I can't believe its been already 4 years. And im still watching it and i still love it.
He is a true craftsman. His attention to detail and pride in his work is amazing. Fantastic ASMR content too.
The way the barber asks if the hairstyle is ok warms my heart 😄
Same. I admire their humble nature and politeness. Two things you rarely see anymore.

"Hello"
"Yeah. Tomorrow will be open as well. Same time. Yeah"
Thank you for translating! :)

This is one of my favorites. I’ve watched it numerous times.
I’ve been a Barber for 20 years and just realized I have alot to learn...
Yeah like grammar.

Man look at the precision with which this man performs his job , nothing can substitute an experienced hand
The shape he gets with a texturizing shear is incredible. Perfect for your hair type.
Watched many many of your videos but this is the best haircut by far. The haircut is a work of art.
Oldest barbershop in South Korea AND still using its original equipment by the looks of things. . A pleasure to watch him in action with a noticeable, yet humble, pride in his work.
lol love his "ritual" before begin the haircut xD
Can we just appreciate how neat is this guy? I’m impressed 😍.
dang back here 3 years later...never trust anyone with your looks if they dont care how they look...Mr. Lee is an artist!!! Always enjoy this one...Thanks Harry!!!
my mans did his hair while doing your hair. B A D A S S
I was stationed in South Korea from 2008 til 2009, and while I got my haircuts on US military bases, they were all done by local nationals - both young and old. They always did a phenomenal job; I haven't had such good service since
I noticed he placed the fan in such a way that the air would reach the person getting his hair cut. I think that's so smart
This video should be titled "The greatest haircut ever made"... Simply amazing.
Almost a year and im still back again and again to watch this and i was so thankful because it helps to reduce my anxiety..💕😄
Same
The way this man finesses and almost sways makes this haircut seem as a performance of a master craftsmen.
I wonder if this incredible man knows that nearly 8 million people have seen him expertly show his craft?
I would imagine internet exists in Seoul
@@dannydubya9410 In south korea every 5 meters you walk your phone catch a wifi signal

Many fond memories of the sound and spectacle of the barber using his razor strop when I was a kid.
This man puts the SOUL in Seoul .
Ok i'll see myself out ..
😅
very nice This man puts history in hair cut of the R.KOREA too
The clear audio in your videos is amazing! I don’t think there’s any videos on UA-cam that match it. Keep up the great work Harry!
*Stops where most other barbers would...
Mr. Lee: "Hairstyle ok?"
Harry: "Yes, thanks!"
Mr. Lee: *a'ight, Imma go ahead and spend another 30 minutes perfecting it...*
For real
I keep coming back to this one. It's definitely my favourite. The guy is so cool and his shop is as well.
“ hairstyle okay?” 🥺😭❤️ MY HEART! PLEASE LIVE ON FOREVER MR.LEE 💕

Without a doubt one of the best haircuts I’ve ever seen, Harry
A true professional Korean barber, no talking only doing his great technique style, hair foam, powder check and the fine scissor work. Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱.
