Honestly a very helpful video! I was about to buy the smaller 18v inflator but I think the larger one is definitely worth it for me since you can air down tires easily as well. Thanks for making this video super clear and to the point!
The 181z is good I can inflate a 21inch run flat in 3mins.. and can cheak all 4 tyres easy in few mins.. the reading on the device is accurate to the pressure reading in the car computer. It's £100.00 in screwfix. Definitely a good product 👌
Thanks for this review, great! Where can I find the video of how accurate the DMP181Z is? Also, I want to use it to inflate road bike tyres up to 8bar. Any thoughts about that in capacity, speed and accuracy? Thanks again!
@MisterShed76 Thank you very much for the praise and support! I really appreciate it. 😊🙌🏼 Based on my experience, I can say that the DMP181 is much more accurate than the older DMP180. I have tested both devices extensively in terms of accuracy. Unfortunately, the videos are only available on my German channel so far, as I haven't gotten around to editing them yet. However, I think that the excerpts from the video illustrate the facts quite well, even if you don't understand what is being said.... It might be worth taking a look here. ua-cam.com/video/vJtzDRTX_fg/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/MuxXappgRQA/v-deo.html Best regards
Too bad Makita dropped the ball. Their trigger does not lock in the on position. You must hold it continuously or strap it down. The "other" two brands have a lock trigger.
@cheekymonkey444 yes, that's right. Makita could definitely have done better. Personally, I would also have liked a locking mechanism... :/ But according to Makita, this is intentional, as it creates more safety. This means you can't neglect the inflating object and you have a better view of the pressure development. Best regards
@patbird9694 Yes, that's right! They've been on the market for a while in my country too. But I only recently got around to edit the video for my English channel :D Best regards
@MrEFHATCH1990 Thank you very much for the feedback! I can certainly understand the thought process and the decision. Best regards and thank you for your support. 😊
@ES-qt6yo Many thanks for the feedback! In the meantime, I have acquired a new voice-over artist to do my videos for me. Maybe you'll like this voice better ;) Best regards

I have the 12v and older 18v . Love them both.
Sounds like a good Makita stock! 😁👍🏼

So the MP001 inflates the quickest
@richbonesjones4729 yes, that's absolutely right. The MP001 is the fastest and most powerful compared to the other Makita compressors. :)

That is a cool digital clock, where can I buy it ?

These models are old in my country. Are they new releases in your country?
@patbird9694 Yes, that's right! They've been on the market for a while in my country too. But I only recently got around to edit the video for my English channel :D

I'd go with the 12V max one since id only use it to top up tires or in an emergency. The others are nice but overkill for my application.

OMG the voiceover is a nightmare just use your real unaffected voice and stop the silly hand gestures.
@ES-qt6yo Many thanks for the feedback!
