For 1992 and 1993-based F1 running in AC, until a 1992/1993 specific version is made, we’ll always have one version of the track that features the ‘wrong’ version of either the second or third chicanes.
Wrong for '92 & '93 in what way? Well, for the Hockenheim 1988(1981-1991) tracks, the wrong Ostkurve chicane configuration is in place, but also along with the correct fast third chicane.
For this Hockenheim 2001 track(1994-2001), the correct Ostkurve chicane(from 1992) is there, but it also features the wrong version of the third chicane, which was tightened up for the 1994 race.
Basically, the real 1992 & 1993 versions of Hockenheim had both the newer Ostkurve chicane but also the original faster third one. It's a case of picking either the second or third chicanes to be correct, as you currently can't have both(for '92 & '93) in AC.

On one had, I agree, because it was some awesome high speed track trough the forest, but the new track made for better races so far imho - as much as i hate to admit it.

​@@BouncingCowwell I do think (personal opinion) that the races were good for the 1990s car as they were not as sophisticated and could overtake on this track. For the 2024 cars yeah it could be boring
