- Goodbye, Night City ghosted in old-school style: no red eye icons and no noises heard by enemies, the environment left undisturbed, enemy equipment returned to its original state (cameras at 2:10). All the usual restrictions still apply: no kills or takedowns, no quickhacks, no cyberware.
(And to be technical, I didn't return the door at 2:02 to "original state" because the game doesn't allow you to relock unlocked doors. If I tried to leave the holding pen by jumping to the 2nd floor Bruce would have unlocked it anyway.)
Goodbye, Night City is an SOS: Merc Needed side gig you get from Dakota Smith, where you have to rescue a smuggler named Bruce Welby imprisoned in Militech's compound. The optional objective only asks you not to kill any Militech personnel; staying stealthy isn't required.
Rules:
No quickhacks
All attributes left at 3 (minimum)
No perks
No extra cyberware in any slots besides the ones I have installed by Viktor: eye, hand, OS
Very Hard difficulty
I did this the exact same way except I blew everyone up with grenades and shot them through the walls using tech weapons.
I did the same, but with contagion and short circuit.
I did the same, behind a rock, sniper, done, ez.
Tried stealth but they even without seeing a body they get alerted, i gave up on stealth when the AI sees you behind walls after alerted...
It's the right way, sir. There are people who confuse Cyberpunk with Deus Ex 😆😆😆
There is also the middle way - the optional quest goal does not require stealth (not spotted, not entering combat) just not killing any Militech - so you can shoot everybody through walls with tech sniper modded with PAX for non-lethal damage. ;-)
The attachment indicates that V is not supposed to extinguish any of the corpos. The payout and street cred will be significantly higher if one follows the instructions.
Normally I love stealth approach, but in this game I like to shoot everybody :D
With this video I'm also saying goodbye to Night City, as it will be the last content for Cyberpunk 2077 from me, at least for a while. I may revisit the game later if CDPR rebalances difficulty or makes DLC that's worth playing. Although judging by the roadmap released a few days ago they're going to be busy with bug fixing and next-gen versions in 2021, so I wouldn't expect much.

those videos are unbelievable, dude. can you do "all failed attempts" or at least tell how long does it take to master a run that perfect?
Which game do you think has the best AI regarding stealth? I find a lot of them have pretty dumb AI when it comes to handling sneaky players.
@Alexey Sazonov I didn't keep any failed attempts for CP2077, but I may do something like what you are suggesting for Hitman 3, if I get enough material. I never bothered with fail compilations because I feel that when it comes to stealth fails are just not very exciting to watch. It's like people are curious how the sausage is made, but if they were see the real process they would turn their noses and go "meh".
How long it takes depends on the mission and how clean I want the end result to look. This level took me 1 hour to plan and 2-3 hours to execute with 50+ restarts, because with so many restrictions it was actually really difficult to do it without any mistakes and no wasted movements.
Wish I had that kind of skill. I go in like Clint in the Unforgiven.

I typically do, as well, but V will receive a larger payout and better street cred if the instructions are followed.
I tried a dozen times to do this stealthy. Someone always ended up dead. I finally got so fed up I walked in through the front of it and just killed everyone.

Optical camo, and system reset will get you through this. And turn off the cameras and the turret guns. I used system reset on the guys in the towers, and the guy on the roof. Worked out fine.
Is not that hard with the correct daemons but sometimes go teigger happy is fun xD
@@NoelandI used system reset as well but the contact still made the same complaint. I think I used system reset on every one though. I specifically remember using a hack which is reportedly not lethal. Which difficulty setting did you use?
This mission constantly glitched everytime I played it. No matter what, at a certain point out of nowhere suddenly all guards were alarmed and started firing at me, like the police usually does.

I just tested something out. I gunned down everyone with a revolver, but had the kiroshi optic that made all shots non lethal. I was careful not to kill anyone and got full credit. Didn't have to sneak at all.
I hated this mission, took me a while to figure it out. You made it look so easy.

I wish game awarded 'no alarm and no takedown' the same as it you taken down silently everyone or more. Otherwise it makes no sense rather than for roleplay reasons.
in a high difficulty and high level threats, the reward is they not killing you
@@dan_noo Not dying is insufficient reward as considerable time is spent on sneaking. It's not viable other than for roleplay or YT videos., There should be measurable award, XP, street credit and stealth xp reward.
Game is too easy on the highest difficulty level to be rewarded just with not dying. Game should not be a chore that rewards you only with wasting less time (reloading savegame).
You gotta have respect for the on-screen representation of V’s shadow appearing briefly as she jumps down with the sun behind her.
2:09 I like the detail that you turn back on the monitor system
Be aware… there is no longer a nice friendly turret in the holding area. There is instead, a roving guard on the second floor that is a massive pain in the a$$ to avoid.
The thumbnail reminded me of that weird for in Kabul in MGS 5 TPP. cool stuff anyway, and welcome back too.

Like it that are many ways to do this. Some tips if you can open the door at 1:11 (technical 8) there is some legendary there, also the little room can be used as a hiding area for bodies seems that if you throw them in containers you kill them thus forfeiting bonus, you can go tackle it from behind the compund, double jump through a window to second floor taking out the guard there, if you can raise the barrier and open the main gate after you talk with your detainee you can just hop in the militech truck parked next to the building and drive away Steve Mcqueen style. Also modded armor with movement speed (i keep 2 sets one full armor one fully modded for speed in the car trunk) helps a lot.
Just went through this and after a couple of tries I finally got it done.
My strategy included activating Sandevistan, double jum over the fence and enter through a massive hole in behind a guard. Rush to the small room, take out the guard, drop him in a corner, wait for another that allways walks in after a bit and take him out. Get the access card. Use the terminal to shut down the cameras and then, no joke, I found out by accident that the password to get access to the turrets is 123. Talked to the guy, then hoped on the truck and drove out as smoothly as a carefully learn and repeat trial went.
i did this mission but mine was still undiscovered, I'm guessing it is some type of bug, now i killed everyone and the mission is broken, cannot access the computer or the person i have to save

Doesn’t using the eye cyberware that makes your weapons non-lethal get you this same, good ending to this mission, even without the stealth?
Impressive, although I just used Contagion and Overheat to incapacitate all of them. Both are considered non-lethal, and as long as nobody actually dies you get the bonus.

Yeah those guys detected me the second I unlocked a door with a keycard which I think is a glitch. Also they are able to magically find their knocked out buddies when they're clearly out of sight if I get near the guy I am suppose to talk too.

I hated this mission because I kept trying to do non-lethal but the guards ended up damaging the downed ones and making me fail the no casualties objective
So no matter what you do, the client gives you the "Accidents have a way of turning fatal" dig? I've done this gig, knocked out a few people, didn't kill anyone, still got this. Now I know it's gonna happen no matter what. Only benefit to not killing the lot is it keeps Dakota happy-even if you've mowed down Militech troops for her to steal a van before
What sucks about this Gig, and I played on Xbox One, is that if you take out one guard, not kill them, then you get yelled at by Dakota, the pay's the same either way so, it doesn't even matter. I did a 'perfect stealth', too, at night, took six tries to accomplish it; also on computers, turning stuff off doesn't seem to work on my Xbox version. They're still quite active. I have to do it manually. Also, if you park to the right of the compound, all you have to do is run out the gate, jump up on that small ledge, and you're out. Don't have to hide or run the course of the compound.
Also, I always go back and kill everyone (except the citizens, I'm not heartless.)
IDK, I incapacitated all the guards with nonlethal shots to the head with Panam's sniper and Dakota was still pleased.
@@4Roman204 Maybe the quest wasn't glitchy for you, it actually worked like it was supposed to. My second play of it: looting a candy bar counted as a kill.

So many people refuse to listen to the truth that apology had nothing to do with fixing the game it was simply damage control because they are being investigated by the Polish consumer protection agency that has connections with their own government. CD project isn't at fault* it's CD projekt Red fault. Even CD projekt developers said on social media the game was supposed to be shipped in 2022 not in 2021 that statement is pretty obvious It was CD projekt Red management who decided for the final say-so for it to be shipped early

Ha, I don’t have the patience for stealth, either! The best I could do was on my hacker character: knock everyone out from outside the building, then stroll in unchallenged!

I guarantee you this took many tries. This is probably the hardest stealth gig in the game. The route he did, if you couldn't tell was very calculated.
I need help - I wasted everyone and found Bruce sitting there , things is no dialogue is triggered and I can’t find a way to complete the mission.
This is very cool, but its alot easier to use quickhack then Headshot everyone through the wall with a sniper rifle.

i play easy so i ran fast in i ran super fast out and i knew bruce won't die (or they didn't target bruce but me) + i knew bruce will follow same speed lol... was messy, no blood was shed all happy ^_^
You can actually hack them all and not fail the stealth portion of the quest just dont use lethal ones.

You only get asked for the code if you try to disable the turrets.

It's my monitor (Dell U2412M) and it's 16:10 not 4:3. 1080p at 16:9 is 1920x1080, while I have 1920x1200.

Lol this mission was bullshit, Dakota gave me shit after completing it because I kept getting caught. However I didn’t kill anybody so idk why she was so pissed.
I completed this mission without stealth but with lots of health and armor. When they started shooting I just ignored them and walked out of there with prisoner and made sure that none of them got in the line of their fire. No one was killed and V was praised and got a stealth bonus.
Hey man ! Can this game finished without any kill ?
99% of the main quests and 100% of the side quests can be finished with no kills by your hand, but no matter what choices you make lots of people will die because of your actions. It's just will be your allies who do the killing. There are also a few car chase sequences where you have to shoot at least 1 or 2 enemies or it's game over. Also some missions give you no choice but to kill (like some of Nomads' quests and their ending), but you can skip them completely if you want.

Lots of practice. I abused the dodge a lot in the earlier missions.
I didn’t kill a single person or use any harmful hacks but still failed the optional objective.. fml lol. Still though I’m honestly loving the game but I won’t get into that for for obvious reasons.

This was my least favorite quest. Seeing that !!! and getting dragged into combat when you're hundreds of meters away and behind a rock is not my idea of a good time lol. Why can they randomly see through everything on this one, anyway?

PC gets shit done and then also delivers a wide array of other non-gaming options, even if at a higher cost. Consoles don't. With the exception of some exclusives of debatable quality, consoles have nothing for them, which pc doesn't have. But not vice versa.

I wasn't spotted. There are 2 soldiers going through a training exercise near the base entrance and they scream things like "Contact, contact" and "Neutralize her" non-stop.

I tried to stealth this but they could see me through the outer wall for some reason... also optional objective was to not kill anyone, yet for some reason knocking a guard out and throwing him the trash was considered a kill. I just said f*** it and went all cyberpsycho on them.
Throwing anyone in a container is considered a kill, which sucks.
@@Lexathos666 For the purposes of THIS mission, yes. For other missions, no. That's what makes this mission so infuriating to new players who don't know how to properly utilize quickhacks, or who take on this mission before they should be out in the Badlands. There's also the insanely annoying fact that enemies have "body radar", meaning they can instantly spot a body a mile away. Sometimes it's better to drag a person backwards while they're still on their feet until they're out of sight before incapacitating them, as it takes them longer to detect you when doing this than to detect a body.
@@WardenWolf they can also hear if they are too close, that's why you always quickhack your target with sonic shock.
This game is a total failure. So sad that people are accepting the companies apology that the game wasn't meant for last gen when clearly it was the main focus considering the Ps5 wasn't even a thing yet. This game needs so much work that it simply cannot be done. The Police need a complete revamp, the environment barely reacts to vehicles etc...
You do realize developers are given ps5 dev kits before the public is even made aware of them ?

@@nickalexcage Yet CDPR was going to release the game on last gen in April 2020, then delayed it because "it wasn't ready" then releases a totally broken game in December ON CONSOLE! This would be excusable on PC since all PCs are different, but the PS4 is the same across the board so all they had to do was run the game and they would have seen that it is broken.
You're a fool if you think this company actually gave a shit about you or the game. The only reason they are trying to fix it is because Sony gave out refunds and took their broken shit game off the store.
