I found a oddessy backstryke putter that someone had tossed into a water hazard. It is only 33" long. I am 6' 4" and am currently putting with a 38" putter. I thought that I might try your technique, but will need to add about 5". Do you think this technique would provide a sturdy extension when I'm adding that much length? Also, did you use any epoxy to hold the extension in place or just a friction tight fit?
The Super Stroke grip allows for more or less weight to be placed in the butt end for adjustment. If more is needed at the head, lead tape could be used. Although with the current climate of putters, most are swing weighting very heavy.

Tall guy here. I added 4 inches to a 36 Scotty Cameron and it is as sturdy as if it were factory.
Awesome find 👌
adjust swingweight after?
