Did anyone see the interview of a waitress who served JP and his friend at a restaurant. JP left her a $20 tip, along with his phone number and a smiley face. He did this when he was still married to Mica. He and the waitress texted various times, and he was very inappropriate and creepy, asking the waitress for pictures. The waitress provided the text messages.
Has anyone also seen the “sermon” clip where he speaks about his mental health, depression, meds he was taking, and said he was seeing a psychiatrist?

That’s a classic narcissist- it is everyone’s fault but their own - even if they have to make up stuff. Been there, done that with an ex. The greatest glory (for me) was calling him out on his lies. The greatest struggle (for me) was trying desperately to block all avenues of him trying to engage me in convo after leaving him (and months of warning him “remember, if things don’t change, I will get my own place” followed with his response of “I know, I know.” Yet he still didn’t believe me or accept I was speaking the truth for months after that. More than two years later, I hope he gets it now. Bottom line, he lied so much that he truly believes every normal human lies as much as he does. NOT NORMAL!!

Tricia Ross; JP's longtime assistant/right hand "man". She currently goes by Tricia Ross, but her real last name is Eidner (spelling?) I believe. She has fraud charges in her past, and has been working for JP for a LONG time (I believe news reported it's been since 2006); she was one of the five people who were at his home the evening he was notified of Micas death. Her entire family has reportedly cut ties with her because of how much she's changed since working for JP. Her children and family members have tried to get her away from JP, but with no luck. This is why JP is the worst kind of criminal. He's sooo controlling, yet hides in plain sight. I've heard interviews with members of Tricia's family, and they seem very normal and grounded, and tried desperately for years to get her away from him.

Here is a question that concerns me in this case. If Mica was wearing a fany pack the day of her unaliving, how on earth did her fany pack go from being strapped around her waist to the bank of the river?

Furthermore, she didn’t have a fannypack in the pawn shop or store surveillance videos…she had a backpack purse that she wore on her back..so how did it go from a backpack purse, to a fannypack purse? The fisherman said he picked up a fannypack and even described it as one that went around the waist! You dont/cant wear a backpack purse around the waist as a fannypack…Which has left me with the following question for a while now…what happened to her real purse, the backpack purse?….did someone take her real purse and switch it out with a fannypack, to obtain and hide any evidence she may of had in there, like perhaps a journal or notebook or something along those lines (which could possibly explain why she had a padlock on the backpack purse). If that happened, someone obviously threw her id/cards and a few other things in the fannypack to make it appear as her real purse. I have always questioned this conflicting information! As mentioned above, she had a little padlock on her backpack purse (seen in her ring cam footage), so what happened to that? And why wasn’t it mentioned by the fisherman? I hope when the family receives her belongings back, they make sure the purse they get is her actual backpack purse she had on in the surveillance vids, and not some random fannypack!

This same tragedy of no one intervening seems to happen despite all efforts of people who are trying so hard to tell someone that things are dangerous in their home. Recently, during the trials of Chad and Lori Daybell we learned that Lori's husband Charles spoke to the police more than once telling them that his life is in danger. His wife had renamed him Ned because she said his body had been possessed by an evil spirit and Charles knew that his life for threatened due to his wife's unstable mental health. The police basically gaffed it off, especially after speaking with Lori who, of course, said she and her husband had many problems and that he was the violent one. Charles was set up and murdered by Lori's brother Alex, not long after his fears.

I can’t even imagine how mica must have felt when she got out of the mental hospital to find that all of her things were gone. Just thinking about it infuriates me, I don’t know what I would do if my husband did that.
I would have filed for divorce right then, especially the way he held the door while filming her and wouldn't let her into her own home!! He wasn't finished destroying her documents because he wasn't expecting her to be discharged from that hospital so soon. They couldn't hold her any longer because they found out she wasn't crazy!!!

I have followed true crime for years, since I was a kid. I am now 56 years old. Never in my lifetime have I ever had such a vicarial reaction to the sound of someone’s voice. I cannot stand to see him or hear him speak. I get nauseous when I hear him. Seriously. I don’t claim to be an empath or a HSP or anything like that but I get sick at the sound of his voice. There’s something really wrong with him. I am sure Mica suffered hellish pain from this man.

Trapped in a horrific marriage for this reason. Gaslit (before it was a word) for 10 years and mistreated not to this extent to but was taunted and no one would believe me because he told everyone the same things this beast did. He took all my money, wouldnt give me copays to go to the doctor and so much more and then called me a liar. I had no family. And had no where else to go. I stayed for the children and at at certain point i could not take anymore. I still have not rebounded correctly. Noone really understands because I dont look it but I am still broken but thank God I made it through. Mica's law needs to be pushed through. We need it. No one believes us. No one.

There is zero protection for abused women! I’m one of those women who can’t leave. I’m physically disabled due to my husband. I have no income at all. I’ve applied for everything and have been denied by all agencies. I don’t have any other resources so I’m stuck! 😢
Keep applying and contact a lawyer this time because if you're younger, you sometimes need a lawyer to help you get disability...
They always turn you down the first time. I was turned down 1st. Then about 2 weeks later I was approved after my family doctor sent my records in. He gave me a copy too in case I needed to send it to anyone else. I also got extra help from medicaid.

Actually, preaching a whole sermon… Then telling the congregation… That he had just found out the day before I think it was that Mica was dead, and it was self induced… Instead of self inflicted… Or just saying suicide… And then telling them do not go out and talk about it, just leave the building quietly… But he made sure in a sermon to talk about or right after the sermon to make sure to continue to give offerings and tidings… And then I think the world said somethings wrong with this guy and something is fishy … something is not right

In my opinion what has made this case world wide is that since early English common law a man could beat his wife but with a stick no bigger than his thumb. Domestic violence is a historical crime. Let’s not stop investigating. 1. Mica forewarned her friend, her family that if she were found with a bullet through her heard it wasn’t her doing. It was JP. What more serious cry for help can there be. 2. Mica was indeed found in that manner. 3. A fisherman heard her cry but was too afraid to go to it or so he says. 4. Mica had previously tried to escape the marriage and had filed for divorce. Abuse escalates at the time of leaving this kind of situation. 5. Why was the weapon found several feet away from her body and why was a log on her body. 6. Mica knew firsthand of any irregularities of the church organization. There are more questions than there are answers.

So in the state of Tennessee, as of July 1, 2024 new law states that aggravated domestic assault charges come along with ankle monitor. Which is a huge step in the right direction in my opinion as someone who has been in a toxic relationship.

No one can make them leave. You have to file to serve them an eviction notice which takes time and allows for continued use and abuse.
