@@marskeelove4166 We don't drink soda or fruit juice. We needed to make a lifestyle change because my husband's cholesterol was high due to genetics and likely being somewhat overweight. Changing to a no sugar, low carb, no processed foods diet has changed his life. He also has begun fasting once a week. This was a quick 21 day program that got us on the right track.

Hi Dr. Kellyann, I believe our country needs to learn how to eat all over again. The bone broth makes intermittent fasting easy! So much of the “food” in our grocery stores should go in the garbage. I really think most people just don’t understand how or what to eat! Keep going and thank you Kellyann❗️❤️

Everyone just needs to eat according to their Blood Type & their health will change for the better. No pains, less prescription drugs that make ailments worse. Doctors won’t mention that because they get paid to promote drugs & fatten their pockets instead of promoting the right foods & supplements that will help. Sad!

When I had my daughter nearly 42 years ago, I had a difficult delivery which resulted in an emergency csection. Very quickly afterward I started having problems with my thyroid.....lost massive weight. My Mom was freaking out and started making bone broth......the bones she used were marrow bones. Lots of marrow bones! She'd make me drink 3 cups a day! Bless her heart, after a month of drinking so much bone broth, I did not want to see it again. Now I make bone broth with bones, marrow ones included. If only she could see it.

Most people have NO CLUE that 80% of their immune system is in their GUT; which in simple terms is your stomach, small intestine and large intestine. If you looked at an autopsy of the body it's roughly 30 FEET long which is mind-blowing to say the least. The accessory organs to these 3 are your tongue, your salivary glands, pancreas, liver & gallbladder. This extremely complex system hosts OVER 1,000 different strains of bacteria that play diverse roles in maintenance of immune health and metabolism.

@@Geno619 you can do with chicken bones BUT, and this is VERY IMPORTANT!!!! Make sure to buy organic and hormone free chicken. Or u will be getting those hormones in your broth. For over 50 yrs the farmers have been feeding their animals hormones, to make them bigger and get more money. Farmers don’t make much. It’s not an easy life for them . But they’re killing us by doing that because everything that the animal eats or is injected in them goes into us. I know most ppl can’t afford to buy organic and hormone free or drive to a local farm and buy their chicken from them, it’s much more expensive. But this is for your HEALTH. Cut down buying useless crap. Take less vacations, buy cheaper clothes, do your own nails and save that money to put into your heath. Because all of your stuff will still be here after you’re gone. Your HEALTH is much more important. And don’t trust the fake organic chicken sold in your supermarkets. It’s all a lie. My husbands business is to deliver meat to supermarkets. We own a small trucking business. He said he was told that it’s all the same meat and vegetables, they just put organic labels on and charge more. The ONLY way to know if you’re getting organic hormone free meat is to go to your local farm and buy fresh killed chicken . Oh u have no idea how much better fresh organic chicken tastes. It’s like night and day. My husband has friends who are hunters and he gets deer meat all the time that he loves to eat. I’m gonna make him bone broth with it. He needs to lose weight. Being a truck driver he eats badly. Anyway if u really can’t find or afford organic chicken then I guess any bone broth is better than nothing. Just know your bone broth will contain all the hormones that animal ate or was injected with and all the antibiotics as well. Yes they pump animals with antibiotics too. The meat market….oh if ppl only knew the truth. I’m done. I don’t even want to think about it anymore . They do horrible unimaginable things to cows and all food animals . They suffer incredible suffering before they die. I try not to eat red meat because of what I know. But I’m glad I know. Ignorance can kill u

You maybe add'n More water 💦 if cook'n sooooo long....
Try cut'n back your time to 6hrs on low simmer... A full Chicken carass in a large crockpot or stock pot gen uses about 2-3 qts of water💦
More if it's beef bones to cover them about 2".... then add your carrots 🥕 celery, onion 🧅garlic 🧄 ginger🫚 very imp tumeric, Celtic Sea Salt 🧂 lemon juice 🍋 or apple cider vinegar stir and cover... I check every hour...
It'll reduce down as it simmers
And if you've added the lemon 🍋 juice or vinegar like she mentioned it pulls More Collagen from the bones🦴.... that's what thickness the broth!
It's the essential ingredient in those healing amino acids... 🤫

I've started carnivore and whether you're on keto or carnivore, it's an absolutely huge recommendation to make bone broth because of the intense nutrient, collagen, protein and good saturated fat content. The notion is that it starts to correct a lot of things in the body and allow the body to begin healing itself. Any bone broth is also the superior method of ingesting bioavailable collagen . I don't take powdered collagen but they stress pretty hard that it is throwing money in the trash. Just like many store-bought pressed vitamin pills. Bone broth helps with hunger, provides essential nutrients as well as reversing internal inflammation with a proper low or no carb cohesive diet. Those that are big in the keto or carnivore community say you can do chicken but they stress how much more nutritious beef and beef bone broth is over others. If you look up the nutrients in similar weight of chicken and beef, you will see there are many more nutrients in beef, especially in the organs and bones, but also in the straight up meat. I never just take one person's word for it, I start deep diving on Google and look at nutritional content per pound for different types of meat. For all of the demonization that beef gets, it is by far more nutritious for the body. Good saturated fats are not the enemy and the food pyramid is turned upside down. We had a pharmacological, agriculture, and government industry that worked in concert to produce cheaper food in greater quantities to feed the country. When they found out they could make us want to eat more and more, it would cause disease, and then doctors and drug companies could continue to profit off of drugs and treatments endlessly because they realized they could keep us alive but keep us sick enough to profit from.

I know I could make my own but I'm busy and don't have a kitchen big enough to do the broth justice. The packets are great! At first, I was a little put off by the taste but added things to spice it up for my taste. Now, nothing is added. I like it. My sugar cravings are there still but not overtaking my day to day activity! When I've eaten something, like a cookie, it doesn't taste the same. Even a homemade one. I started last week- it's going well. Mainly wanted to say:
Convenient packets go anywhere and I don't sacrifice fridge space
Tastes ok at first but then I got creative- I use 6oz boiling water but no more than 8oz for a serving. Tried-
Sea salt and pepper at first, serache sauce. Turmeric, garlic and onion powder
I even mixed with DKA vegetable detox soup recipe!
I've gotten used to taste and rarely add anything now. I do 2 packs a day but admit had 2 days with one packet due to circumstances I was in
My regular meals are low carb, my gut is shrinking, my energy is improved, I'm praying for a good 21 days and beyond

I was convinced for yrs that I didn’t like bone broth because I bought the store brand and it was flavorless but I knew I had to consume it. One day I found some bones on sale and decided to stop being lazy, to my surprise It was cheap, easy, and flavorful. This is a staple that never leaves my fridge. I can see and feel the difference today.

The concept of Bone Broth is excellent, just not with store bought meat that does indeed include MSG and 40 other chemicals. The choices I would make would be 100% Grass Fed bones and slow cooking with a Stainless Instant Pot if that is a function, or a electric Stainless slow cooker or a Stainless stock pot on the range.
Anything besides a painted ceramic crock pot. Will the painted / kiln fired or whatever pot leach chemicals, especially using Vinegar? The only way to find out is running a test with RO or Distilled water only and then having a lab test the water.

My seasons are... salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, turmeric, cumin, bay leaves, apple cider vinegar and more. I use it to make homemade soups, dry beans, lentils, and sometimes gravy. I refrigerate it over night, get the fat out of it and store in the freezer in containers. It's there when I need it for my foods above. It's delicious 😋
