I love how in the outtake caused by you going for that score ball, after the bladers knocked you into the pit, they flew down after you, like, "Hey, we're not done playing with you yet!"
I really admire how calm you always keep when doing these insane challenges! I could never do that. Since my childhood I've always been a brutal rager when it comes to very hard or frustrating video games.
@IanWantsaCookie : I used Nestopia originally, but for some reason, it started having a lot of audio issues when recording, without me having even changed any settings. I now use FCEUX.
I didn't notice Copy Robot's fire position was depending on the background colors, so that's interesting to give a hint to where he'll fire next, it's been a very long time since I've played the game. "Keep Calm & Revenge On"
@adept42 : Possibly so. It is something I am considering, it does make sense. Haha, just funny to think how jarring it will be for viewers to go from my somewhat hesitant, uncertain personality back in the original six MM1 vids to my more energetic nature these days for the Wily vids XD
I think I realized how they separated the bosses: Bosses in this stage get knocked back with your weapons Bosses in Wily Stage 4 don't get knocked back no matter what weapons you use
Well, it isn't exactly like there's a big backstory we need to keep track of to watch your videos :) One day, I just happened to be interested in seeing Mega Man perfect runs, and a search brought you up as a popular choice. I'd guess that most people are more interested in watching your stuff by game rather than a chronological progression of how you played.
1:18 i know this is late but you can use his gameboy weakness fire storm on him. now i wonder if this strategy works on other robot masters in the series
"Let's get right to it...And immediately we are attacked by Bladers..." *destroys all three Bladers, and then accidentally jumps down a bottomless pit* "And immediately we forget how to jump...Awesome..." XD
Picking up the weapon refills around 2:44 always screws with me because Mega Man just walks right off the ledge. Once I even took my finger off the D-pad while the energy refilled and he walked right off anyway.
I beat the Mega Man Copy last night by shooting him as much as possible. It pushes him further away although your strategy here is more calm and relaxed.
@adept42 : I've actually been considering that, but you have to keep in mind how out of order the stages already are. I mean, the Robot Master stages for this game, I did them four years ago, so the main playlist is just in order of when I did the stages.
"Why yes, Copy Robot, I agree with you. Super Arm is pathetically useless." Hehe, the Archie Comics probably made it the most useful it's ever been, because I remember it was turned into a melee upgrade instead of just a rock throw. MegaMan even takes Copy Robot on with the Super Arm as soon as the fight starts in the comics, funnily enough. "DANCE FOR ME!" XD
@MegaduceFlare : When I get to MM3, yes. However, I might be skipping 3 for now and moving on to either 4 or 5 next time I do fortress stages, as those ones are more fresh in my mind after the races I did with my friends.
Besides the two you mentioned, Needle Man earned a 10/10. And so did Slash Man. And Burner Man. And the only reason that Wily Fortress stage 4 in Mega Man 2 didn't was the fact that Wily Fortress stage 5 after it was even worse, earning a 10/10 as well. So to sum that up, a 10/10 has been given at least six times.
@TheMartianGeek : I plan to do them all over time, it's largely going to be a "between projects" thing, do a few fortress stages, do a main project, do a few more fortress stages, etc.
You can jump every time you fire when employing the revenge strategy against Elec Man. This makes it so that if you screw up the timing a little it does not matter. Every time you shoot him, just click jump simultaneously.
Well, if you let the current carry you and space your shots out, the corridor to CWU isn't so bad. after that, it's just the matter of the octopus batteries at the start and the boss itself. Incidentally, I use Super arm to prevent the cheap shot right at the start when I fight him. Didn't know Magnet Beam could do the same thing.
am i the only one wondering why cutmans original weakness couldn´t be used in this rematch stage? i mean, gutsmans power arm can only be used together with the guts blocks but... since there are none... there would be no way to defeat cutman with its intended weakness... its... kind of unusual, don´t you think?
@mariofan96 : Yes, but probably just the Robot Master stages there, as there's no way for me to immediately play whatever fortress stage I want to try to Perfect Run.
Never gonna give you up. Never gonna let you down Never gonna run around- And desert yooouuuuu yoouu-uuuu. Yooouuu-uuu-uuu. We've known each other for so long. I don't think you are gonna get this from any other guy. Never gonna guve you up. Never gonna let you down. Never gonna run arround and desert yoooouuuuu youu-uuu -youuu-uu-uu. We've known eachother for so long. I don't think your gonna get this from any other guy-uy-uy. Wily Stage 1-2 themes are just Rick Ashley's "Rick Roll"
Revenge strategy on this guy. Use guts or magnet to stop him from shooting u. Fire elec beam. After u hit him, change back to guts and magnet to avoid him shooting you. Repeat.
Roahm, I noticed how during the outtakes Elec Man only fired at the middle, at the left wall, and right near you. Would it be possible to employ a similar strategy against him to the one used for Copy Robot?
(This is warriorxero on a new account, by the way.) Personally, the Copy Robot fight was the one I was most interested in seeing you fight moreso than the Yellow Devil was. He was so DIFFICULT for me... XD He still is, actually. I'm gonna have to try and employ that strategy sometime.
@spacepluto : They'll come eventually, just not for now. My priority is going to be on finishing the original Let's Vote list of projects, still have to do the Legend of Zelda Minimalist Run and the Jumper 3 Blind Run.
@MajinWamu : I haven't actually seen a finished version of 8 bit MM8. As for actually LPing them, I don't know that there's too much of a need to do so since I already did Perfect Runs of the real games.
@FatherOfGray : I always hear that he's supposedly weak to Fire Storm, but I never notice it doing more than one damage. I'm not sure he has a real weakness, I'll have to study that sometime and see if I can figure anything out.
Oh wow, that pattern in Copy Robot's AI is... fascinating. That's rather interesting, because of how close range he gets wih the side-most shot, I've never even noticed it. A puzzle indeed. But man, with how the ladders are fixed in Wily Wars, no wonder some of those stages are only doable in the NES version. Nicely done. ^^
@TheNintendoBros12 : That's the plan. I at least have good ways of doing all the ones from the official games. Fangames, alas, unless they let you save between fortress stages or have a Time Trial mode that lets you play them at will, it's unlikely.
OUCH!!!! I can't even beat this one no-damage AND Buster only. Either I get hit while fighting buster only, or I have to resort to using the Super Arm.
good luck about Dr Wily Stage 3 based on awesome Luck where this Robot coming aaand by Dr. Wily Stage 4 it is really easy, you would laugh how easy this was :)
Out of curiosity Roahm, and I do apologize if this has been asked before, if / when you get around to doing the Wily stages for MM3, will you also be doing the Doc Robot revisit stages? Or is that not even on you proverbial radar yet?
Hello Roahm, I realised that Elecman's AI is the same with copy robot. He will jump when you shoot unless he fires thunder beam.Elecman will also fire thunder beam at the three same spots.Elecman also cannot run to the left side of the wall.Would you mind checking to make sure.
Maybe you could do a summary video if your eventually done with every MegaMan stage there is. With a compilation of all the scores per game and maybe some corrections if you feel that a score should be lower / higher. But we are far from finished ;) Also, i really really love your videos, thank you so much for them. I have an interim exam coming up wednesday, and your "perfect run" playlist really helps preventig nervousnes and getting my head clear ;)
Roahm, I'm sure you must've been asked this question before, but do you think your skill has improved so much from your original MM1 Perfect Runs that everything seems easier. Do you think you'd be less likely to give a stage a higher score now as opposed to a few years ago?
Wow,you are awesome! I tried beating this boss without taking damage...I ragequit after 20 attempts. Also,I can't wait for you to beat Megaman 3 and 4 Stages, those are my favorite games, which I used to play when I was 6. Oh,and good luck on stage 3!
May I ask, which emulator did you use before? And what emulator are you using now? You mentioned on your last video that you switched, so I am curious what you switched to.
Copy Robot's movement and shooting AI is literally just Elec Man's AI. They reused it to save space. :Y
No, Copy Mega shoots at 3 certain points in the room. Elec shoots as long as he's within a certain distance of Mega.
OBJECTION elecman actually shoots at 3 specific points it is shown in the outtakes

I think I realized how they separated the bosses:
Bosses in this stage get knocked back with your weapons
Bosses in Wily Stage 4 don't get knocked back no matter what weapons you use
I forgot how much I loved these perfect runs. :')
It's not a Rubik's Cube, it's Wily's personal disco! Great job breaking the Copy Robot.
Also... Cutman was all like "NO NO NO NO NO NOOOOOOOOOOOOO" on that outtake... that was just silly!
So, basically, copy robot requires a ton of patience. Wonderful. 😞
You can also make your own playlist of his videos while at your computer, so you could easily just load that up on your tablet.
Thank you so much for not using the pause cheat. Every other tutorial that I could find used the pause cheat.
Roahm, it's a long ways away, but I am looking so forward to the return to Mega Man 7...
Wow, that cutter chasing Cutman....
A case of "old dog new tricks" I suppose?
Well, it isn't exactly like there's a big backstory we need to keep track of to watch your videos :) One day, I just happened to be interested in seeing Mega Man perfect runs, and a search brought you up as a popular choice. I'd guess that most people are more interested in watching your stuff by game rather than a chronological progression of how you played.
"Keep calm and Revenge on" That sounds like a catchphrase.
Copy Robot was really this easy?! Wow, I'll have to try to keep this in mind.
Those Octopus batteries at 3:45 were like Trololololololol
1:18 i know this is late but you can use his gameboy weakness fire storm on him. now i wonder if this strategy works on other robot masters in the series
I just noticed that Elec Man and Copy Robot have similar AI patterns!!! I was fighting him a few minutes ago.
it seems like your voice changed from when you were doing the first mega man robot masters to know, sounds some what more cheerful and different
Nice. Done in by your love of shinies. How fitting.
Super Arm: Starting Copy Robot Dance Parties since 1987.
Cut Man learned his lesson
"Let's get right to it...And immediately we are attacked by Bladers..."
*destroys all three Bladers, and then accidentally jumps down a bottomless pit*
"And immediately we forget how to jump...Awesome..." XD
Quickman was the first Robot Master to earn a 10/10, but he was certainly not the last.
"Don't get greedy," said the dragon.
Picking up the weapon refills around 2:44 always screws with me because Mega Man just walks right off the ledge. Once I even took my finger off the D-pad while the energy refilled and he walked right off anyway.
That is why you need to tippytoe
I'm gonna assume we're not going to get Wily 3's video tomorrow. Or possibly not even the next day. Dem water segments.
He's very Quickmannish that way so definitely.
I found that Copy Man's weakness is the Fire Beam.. Somehow.
@JindraAG : Oof... That would be quite painful...
I beat the Mega Man Copy last night by shooting him as much as possible. It pushes him further away although your strategy here is more calm and relaxed.
Have you considered doing a run of Blaster Master? That's one I'd definitely watch!
@adept42 : I've actually been considering that, but you have to keep in mind how out of order the stages already are. I mean, the Robot Master stages for this game, I did them four years ago, so the main playlist is just in order of when I did the stages.

He already did perfect runs for the MM2 wily stages
Besides the two you mentioned, Needle Man earned a 10/10. And so did Slash Man. And Burner Man. Quickman, Brightman, and I think one or two others.
Keep calm and revenge on.
TINY hops might work... then again, maybe not. I can never seem to get the timing right when doing it.
Oh wow I didn't even know of the Copy Robot strategy.
Learn something new everyday.
am i the only one wondering why cutmans original weakness couldn´t be used in this rematch stage?
i mean, gutsmans power arm can only be used together with the guts blocks but... since there are none... there would be no way to defeat cutman with its intended weakness... its... kind of unusual, don´t you think?
Roahm, why don't you have more than 100,000 subscribers yet, these videos are unique and completely awesome?
Sick video Roahm, good luck on stage 3.
@mariofan96 : Yes, but probably just the Robot Master stages there, as there's no way for me to immediately play whatever fortress stage I want to try to Perfect Run.
I'm betting the Wily boss in the third stage of megaman 3 and the Doc Robots are gonna be too brutal to perfect run buster only?
Never gonna give you up.
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around-
And desert yooouuuuu
yoouu-uuuu.
Yooouuu-uuu-uuu.
We've known each other for so long.
I don't think you are gonna get this from any other guy.
Never gonna guve you up.
Never gonna let you down.
Never gonna run arround

youu-uuu
-youuu-uu-uu.
We've known eachother for so long.
I don't think your gonna get this from any other guy-uy-uy.
Wily Stage 1-2 themes are just Rick Ashley's "Rick Roll"
@TARINunit9 : The left one is kind of a "close enough" given that the first two tiles on the bottom row are the same color.
Previously on Mega Man 1, flying blocks of boredom! And now…
(This is warriorxero on a new account, by the way.) Personally, the Copy Robot fight was the one I was most interested in seeing you fight moreso than the Yellow Devil was. He was so DIFFICULT for me... XD He still is, actually. I'm gonna have to try and employ that strategy sometime.
Interesting, wasn't aware Copy Robot was that predictable.
@spacepluto : They'll come eventually, just not for now. My priority is going to be on finishing the original Let's Vote list of projects, still have to do the Legend of Zelda Minimalist Run and the Jumper 3 Blind Run.

Fire storm does actually 2 damage and copy robot is a sucker to the revolving fire shield on Megaman.
you should check out the 8-bit versions of Mega Man 7 and 8 if your interested in that. I think it would be awesome if you did those
Roahm, are you still working on Megaman X Street Fighter? I'm still looking for perfect runs!
Really enjoy this fortress Videos. Hope you will make more perfect fortress runs soon. I'll definitely stay tuned for those.
@SuperMetalSonic360 : Possibly, but I wouldn't want to have to count on being able to jump over the Thunder Beam.
Roahm? Playing the fortress stages on megaman? THIS....CAN'T...BE...HAPPENING!!!!!
that cutman outtake, talk about panic jumping "I don't wanna die I don't wanna die"
@EvilMariobot : The stage isn't the problem with Wily 3. It's CWU-01P, and how the last few bubbles all come down to luck as to where they come from.
@TheNintendoBros12 : That's the plan. I at least have good ways of doing all the ones from the official games. Fangames, alas, unless they let you save between fortress stages or have a Time Trial mode that lets you play them at will, it's unlikely.
Don't forget Tengu Man from Mega Man & Bass. :)

Hey roam what if CWU-01P took only 1 bar of damage every single time you hit the core?
DANCE BATTLE:
CRASHMAN VS. SUPER ARM MEGAMAN COPY ROBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!
BEGIN!
So now you're doing Perfect Runs of all the fortress stages in Mega Man games? Or just MM1 (well, and MM2)?
Maybe you could do a summary video if your eventually done with every MegaMan stage there is. So what are u trying to say?
Are you going to do ALL Wily stages from all Megaman games?
Imagine if Elecman couldn't flinch. I bet the this stage could have gotten more points on difficulty then.
Wow,you are awesome! I tried beating this boss without taking damage...I ragequit after 20 attempts. Also,I can't wait for you to beat Megaman 3 and 4 Stages, those are my favorite games, which I used to play when I was 6. Oh,and good luck on stage 3!
5:31 that not copy robot is mega man again
About Cut Man's room not having the Super Arm blocks, you can also use Fire storm, as it does considerable damage.
And most of them deserved it due to sheer spaz, Brightman got his due to having a really cheap and hard to read pattern which is EASY to mess up.
I love how if you fall off while there's Bladers on the screen, they'll follow you offscreen too.
Best of luck, Roahm :)
Dear god...I don't even want to think about that being a reality...then again...that could turn into an awesome, challenging hack...
11:45 Crash Man precursor
10:42 "Wait, he isn't dead just yet! GET' IM!"
@JacobTheMarioMaster : Hmm, I may have to try that. It seems like I might be in the air too long though to land in time for the next shot...
@masterminded78 Notentirelysure perfect ran the doc robot stages, so it's doable.
Copy Man made easy... I need to play this more often.
Happy birthday~~~~~~
Fire Storm.
Didn't know that Copy Robot would be so easy O_O
The level seems harder than the actual boss :O
@ZioIsPwnzor : Haha, you don't say... Yeah, I just finished posting Wily 3, and it was a thing.
May I ask, which emulator did you use before? And what emulator are you using now? You mentioned on your last video that you switched, so I am curious what you switched to.
