Actually, I think Ramsay was going to eliminate Marc regardless of whoever was in the bottom with him. The one thing Ramsay wanted Marc to do was own up to his mistakes and take responsibility when he fucked up and Marc didn't do that. If he really wanted to send Amber or Declan home, he would have probably done a surprise elimination for them.

I want to know why every time a contestant uses that strategy...they announce it?
Like, that is the most moronic thing you can do, it's like if you are playing the board game 'battleship,' and the first thing you do is say, 'oh yeah btw, my ships are at D6, C4, etc.
You are literally giving Ramsay a reason to ignore your nominations because he now knows it's a strategy, not cooking related.

You know, watching your video on the chefs Ramsay seemed to hate the most, a fun video could be chefs you know Ramsay really loved and wanted to go far. It doesn’t necessarily need to be winners, but chefs you can tell were some of Ramsay’s personal favorites. Some I can immediately think of are Elsie, Julia, Robert, Milly (AKA the Boston Rob of HK), and Nikki. I’ll add more as I think of them.
Edit: I’m not including chefs like Virginia (who Ramsay seemed to keep around to ensure his winner choice, Heather, would win) or Elise (who seemed to be kept around more for ratings than because Ramsay felt much for her).

As if that was the only possible way for Marc to be eliminated. This isn’t Season 1 where Ramsey would just accept the nominees and choose one of them to go. It’s Season 19 and he can and will overrule nominees if he wants to. That wouldn't have ever worked once. since Robert was never actually in the fucking kitchen. so they couldn't be judged based off of the dinner service. that and Robert was a Front Runner in that season so. Gordon would have saw what they were doing immediately

You know what would be a couple of good videos for Hell’s Kitchen:
    Biggest unfair eliminations
Chefs who you expect to do well and make it to black jackets but end up disappointing you
    Worst non-signature dish challenge dishes
Chefs who did not deserve black jacket
    Funniest chefs
    Face turn chefs
    Most deserving eliminations

I have an idea on how thy can remake the Black Jacket Lounge Challenge. What they should do for the final round is create their own menu and run the kitchen in a Dinner Service with some chefs they invited back from older seasons. This not only shows which chefs deserve to be there, but it can also give them a leg up on the competition if some other members had lacked in the leadership aspect
At the very least. this way is actually fair and makes the challenge less random and more based on skill

The Problem is Marc was 100% the worst chef at that point in time, the rest of them had 0 argument for them being eliminated over Marc. So in a situation like what you mentioned is this:
      A) Eliminate the Weakest Chef
      B) Eliminated Amber or Declan
      C) Eliminate Cody
Either one of these 2 would have been perfect options, however what cody did was he formulated his nomination in a way where Gordon would not pick Option B or C because the Integrity would go out the fucking window

Honestly, 90% of those contestants, including the winners, I wouldn’t want as my head chef. They’re so concerned with backstabbing, whining and complaining that they wouldn’t last a week in a fine dining restaurant. Forget “strategy.” Just do your job, and let the host of the show decide if you’re qualified to run a restaurant. But this show just epitomizes Americans. They’re the centre of their own universe and they think they have to be the centre of yours. Gordon has an ego, but he always backs it up. Most of these people would be fired in a second if they behaved that way in a professional setting, but American TV isn’t about reality. It’s about manufacturing drama. That’s why I watch Gordon’s UK shows.

yes he can, the problem is Cody forced him to eliminate Marc. if he didn't eliminate Marc then his integrity would fall off of a cliff because there would be no argument for eliminating cody over marc. and also it would have been obvious why Marc would still be around to everyone else. and he was already on thin Ice with Adam because Adam was 100% a better chef then marc will ever be, but Marc didn't fuck up as badly as Adam on the Garnish Station before. which that station in particular is a Do or Die Station.

The problem with him breaking the 4th wall whenever he wants to is Gordon as a TV Brand is built on realistic. if they strayed too far away from that then they would loose all credibility. For Elise they didn't loose too much credibility because she was a good chef and was actively trying to be a leader (S9 Red Team was pretty Mid on skill level tbh). However if they tried to pull a 4th wall break with marc. bYE bYE cREDIBILITY~!!!!

A fun video idea, compiling a roster for a season that I'm wanting to call "Unfinished Business", which would be second chance season of decent to good chefs who didn't make it to Black Jackets.
Nikki and Adam from Season 19, Randy from Season 14, Hassan from Season 15, Ji from Season 5 (Interest permitting that is.), Anthony from Season 11, Anton from Season 12 (Even though I think he's a douchebag.), Louross from Season 4, and to save some people the trouble, I might as well throw Sterling in that mix as well, just to name a few of who I think would be good candidates for that kind of roster.
