Have you seen the Adam Jennings facial mocap videos? He's the guy who did the facial mocap for World Tour and uploaded some footage. He's really hamming it up, and even then stuff gets toned down on the ingame model. They're fascinating.
Hi Addy first of all thank you so much for all of your work! You are impeccable. I have a question regarding Rock Band DLC, so I used the arby's has meat drive to download the songs, for the exports I followed the paths and everything worked just fine, but I don't know how to get the C3 DLC for it to show up in Rock Band 3, how can I do it? Thank you!
It blows my mind that this type of lip syncing is possible with just a smartphone app. The future is amazing. Or I guess past in this case since said app is defunct somewhat.
Lmao I was able to get it to work with an older iphone that doesn't have facial recognition good stuff tho now I gotta get a powerful laptop I was planning to get anyways for GHWTDE
When using the plugins as described in the video, it's only possible to record them in chunks and export them one file at a time. It would be cool to be able to record them all in one go
It depends on the song. In general, if there’s a break in vocals for longer than like 5 seconds, you’ll probably want to end the current recording and start a new one when the vocals come back. I also recommend to start a new section when the section changes in the song, like the verses and choruses are their own sections.
This guide will work for PS2 once the toolkit supports compiling to PS2. The SKA files are pretty much the same to convert. It’s just my toolkit can’t compile to PS2 yet, but soon!
We got GH3 custom model guides before GTA6
6:05 It’s actually pretty common for a singer to exaggerate their articulation, both for dramatic effect and to avoid mumbling when singing.

Indeed! Most people aren’t singers though and may not automatically start exaggerating their movements when recording their face.
@@WarMomPT He did for pretty all Neversoft's GH games. He's the guy who did the facial mocap for the guests too (Metallica, Ozzy, Zakk, etc)
Additional required (for Android): make sure you have a phone with Google ARS Core, because some android phone doesn't support this feature
I do specifically mention your Android needs to support AR during the hardware requirements part
Alestorm mentioned !!! RAHH
absolutely one of my favourite bands ^^
I dont have an iPhone or a buff PC to run Blender, but that doesnt stop me from watching this lmao
Thanks for tutorial, Addy
Edit: Nevermind, I got it working now. Thanks!

It’s amazing what facial recognition technology can accomplish these days!

You gonna make a video on light and camera animations
@@Jake-rd1jr I will
do you have GHWT_Rocker_Template_Female ? and how to save them and download it onto PC?
This gonna work on gh2 and aslo how lyrics on avatars works?
This will only work on GH3 and newer. GH2 used a different system to animate the singer’s mouth, similar to Rock Band
Lyrics are a part of the chart
The Android APK link doesn't work. Says content is no longer available.
File link is fixed now!
Is it possible to record an entire session & then split them to separate SKA files? Or does it have to be separate recordings for now?

You should make a tutorial on how to import the parts of the custom song into Reaper :)
I’ve got something cooking!
@@addymillscustoms nice👍
Is it better to split the recording into different sessions like for every phrase or record an entire session

❤ NICE!
Support PS2?
Unfortunately, no.

How do you sync the drummer or the bass/rhythm player?
@@mrdk494 Can you clarify what you mean by syncing the drummer or bass player?
what if vocalist is xbox avatar?
They use the lyrics in the song to animate their mouths instead of the animations the GH characters use
would i be able to export it to ghwtde for a custom song?
@@gabeforgot0 Yep! This’ll work for any Guitar Hero
Support GHWTDE ?
Yes, the toolkit supports WTDE
