I dont care what anybody says- the early 2000s gotta be the most fun era in Bay Area baseball history to be a fan, ever. We had Bonds and Giambi and Tejada and Kent and all that. It was truly a golden era 👈
I’ve been watching your videos especially as you’ve covered the relocation stuff, thinking about how much you’ve poured your life into the team you love. How really freaking awesome it is that you’ve been able to do these things. What a dream! Keep making awesome videos.
Great work Brodie! Great video footage! Your dedication and hard work covering the A’s all these years is amazing! Wish the Nats had you here in DC! I can’t imagine how much it hurts losing your hometown team Good luck for whatever is next for you.
Incredible video! You've always been one of my favorite Bay Area media personalities, and it's great to see you having fun at the job you've been so great at for the last two decades.
Having moved to Sacramento years ago and also having abandoned regular TV, I do miss the old days of watching the Warriors in the 90's on Channel 36. I remember multiple times watching the Warriors get destroyed by better teams, like Houston, then re-watching the game later when it replayed around midnight.
I've been a fan since 1995, and with respects to all of the other squads, that 2012-2015 team was by far my favorite A's team to watch. They had so many dramatic wins during those years.
Brodie, At age 48 I wish I had gotten into broad casting because as a huge Giants and Niners fan I can totally see myself doing all you have done. With the A's leaving ( very sad ) it would be awesome to see you transition over to the Giants. The work you put into your channel is amazing and keep it up. If you are ever in Arizona again I would be honored to meet you and be able to pick your brain about sports in general.
Ah Brodie! This was a great wrap up. As we get close and closer to September I am really starting to feel more and more sad. Making the most of it while I can and getting down to Oakland as much as I can. Thank you for always doing such a great job on pre & post game and all your great content here! 💛💚
Thank you Brodie you have always brought great energy and done excellent journalism and coverage all these years. Been going to A’s games since before I was born going to be tough adjustment for the Bay but all good things come to an end. Thank you if this is the end of MLB in Oakland we will remember the good times.
While I’m not an A’s fan, I’m a huge baseball fan and I recognize and honor the legacy and tradition in Oakland. I’m so sad and disheartened following your coverage of the news of the teams move, and my heart hurts for you and all the fans that have been invested in this team and organization for so long. That being said, I appreciate you for all of your work and bringing the team to the fans at home. A lot of times I think the work that you and the broadcasters do is taken for granted…that is, until you get a dud. Your love of A’s baseball is very evident in all that you do, and A’s fans are/were very lucky to have you bringing it to them! Thank you Brodie from a baseball fan!
David Justice was my favorite baseball player. Used to go to Giants vs Braves games to watch him play. Sadly, I never got to see him play in Oakland & I really regret it. But man, those Braves teams in the 90’s were amazing!!
Brodie, thanks for all the years of great coverage. I miss watching the games on channel 36 (shout out to Mr. Chau’s Chinese Fast Food). I’m guessing that well broken in banana tan Nokona glove is your personal one. I just recently had my 26 year old childhood AMG-175 (very similar to yours) rejuvenated by Nokona, well worth it.
Give it up to you my friend.ive watched you on TV growing up in the bay area I'm an Oakland A's not a Las Vegas A's my last year as an A's fan forget baseball after this season
Wow man, what a great look back at your time with the club. That fantasy camp segment hit me hard, reminded me of how it felt to be a fan before 19 April 23. Great stuff as always.
I’ve been an A’s fan since 1970, and I remember my PE teacher in middle school playing the World Series game in class. I can’t remember which year but I remember it must’ve been’73 or ‘74
I know it's really gotta hurt reminiscing about these experiences throughout your career, and thinking "it's about to end" and it'll never be like that again... I'm not even an Oakland A's fan, but as a BASEBALL fan and playing in little league and college ball before coaching LL for a bit, I miss being on the field and in the dugout, and think, again, "it'll never be like this again..."
¡Por el amor de Dios, Brodie! ¡Tienes que aplicar por la posición de presentador en Español! "Guapo" no dice todo... 😃...Muy bién hecho...More than any other team I can remember, the A's have always had "voices" - at the stadium, on the radio, and on television. Greg Papa. Glen Kuiper...There was a reason that the movie "Moneyball" went with the original calls of The Streak, because they literally raised the hair on the back of your neck. All of the California teams have had luck with that: Vin Scully in LA, Dick Enberg, Jerry Coleman, and Ted Leitner in San Diego, Jon Miller with the Giants, and the Angels having a few whose names I don't remember off the top. A great and prominent voice stitches itself to a game, and becomes an integral part of it...We're all happy that it's been a good ride for you with the A's, Brodie. But the A's are a bad karma organization now. Spreading misery wherever they go. A time presents itself for all of us at some point where it's time to go. I had a pretty awesome career at the Southern Pacific Railroad back in the day as a locomotive engineer. There was some kind of squabble almost every day I showed up to work, but at the end of the day it was a fun job. And scary at times. Derailments. Engines catching on fire. Trains on which the brakes weren't very cooperative. Members of my crew broiling fish on the radiators of the dynamic brakes, and someone in the public calling in a fire. Meeting hobos, and being stalked by mountain lions in sidings...And then another organization with yellow paint showed up. The Union Pacific. In an instant all the fun was gone, there was no credibility left with my employer. I balied, and never once regretted it. But you have the Sharks, and they ain't goin' anywhere...
I'm not happy with the both sides of this subject of the A's but are you going to move with the team what does the broadcasters do when they move next year
Th good news is that Sacramento is same distance from Oakland as Santa Clara/SJ. Also John Fischer has no ballpark and cant afford to Coliseum bullpen stools 👆

Tho that drama ended in early October literally every time 👍

Great Video, Brodie!
As a Giants fan, I am sad the A’s are leaving. I’ve had some great memories at the coliseum.
yeah Brodie, you need to write a book, soon to be a major motion picture.
Hey Brodie. Congratulations on being inducted into the Castro Valley Sports Hall of Fame. My buddies Vuc and Tony got to join you.
Great video Brodie. Also you were a great P.A. Announcer.
I’ve been an A’s fan since 1970, and I remember my PE teacher in middle school playing the World Series game in class. I can’t remember which year but I remember it must’ve been’73 or ‘74

SWISH! My all time 🐐. Only player i ever cried about when he got traded (I was 10) lol
I'm really going to miss you Brodie 😢are you going to be able to still have a Job for the 3 years the A's play in Sacramento?
The best to do it ... part of a legacy
Sure looks like you had a blast. Suiting up and "playing" on a big league field, no bus rides required.
Brodie, did you work with Mark Wolfson with the KICU games?
I did. Enjoyed him. And will miss him.
What amazing moments! Also here's your half-inning of work as PA announcer! ua-cam.com/video/lLPbVRmFJCI/v-deo.html
Funny-I never saw you pitch in a blowout…😀

As Yogi once said, “ it ain’t over til it’s over”.
I sure hope it’s not over . . .
Ok Brodie, so what’s harder, playing in the Coliseum as an A, or SAP Arena as a Shark?
Jarret Parker… outfielder right?😂 don’t remember him being a pitcher
I can't believe they are leaving, it juat hasn't hit me yet.......
I wonder if the A's will change their color "gold" to gold if they go to Vegas
I understand the feeling of losing a team it sucks
Th good news is that Sacramento is same distance from Oakland as Santa Clara/SJ. Also John Fischer has no ballpark and cant afford to Coliseum bullpen stools 👆
Use your platform to get better civic representation. Only one common denominator behind losing the Sonics, the warriors, the raiders & the A’s.
20 years of Brodie Brazil awesomeness but who had ruin it the biggest jerk 💩💨🤮John fisher
Fun video
