    This is great but it'd be amazing if you'd go a bit slower when you're breaking down the fill, it'd be easier for the fgt drumbois like me to get the hand of it.

    Not sure if this is a tutorial, or you just showing your skills. If it’s a tutorial I recommend you slow down a bit.

      Yeah I can’t tell what he’s doing on the first fill he just goes faster and faster

      It's for intermediate level so he doesn't need to treat u like a begginer. I can tell what he's doing just by the sound of it.

      Well this is for intermediates. If it’s too fast for you then maybe you’re not intermediate yet

      I truly mean this in the nicest way possible to everyone. If you aren’t able to use this video as a tutorial. Then you aren’t quite experienced enough yet. And/or don’t yet understand something that’s holding you back with timing and how to count:
      At least that’s how it was for me the very first time I saw this video.
      I thought the same thing at one point, and was like “ woah man, slow down.” But eventually got frustrated and clicked on a different video. It just so happens I was in a mood to practice and touch up on some fills. This video popped up, this is my second time seeing it in like 4 months. And I learned how to count as a drummer and not a guitarist. Like the “ 1 e and a 2 e and a….” And now watching this, I’m like “ holy shit this is good tutorial “
      He’s actually breaking down super simply by showing you how to count it as well. And once you understand how to do different counting, like triplet and 16th note, this video is actually pretty Thorough. But I do understand we all learn differently too.
      Ehhh long story short. I just learn to count as a drummer like triplet and 16th note counting, and this video is the correct speed for this tutorial 😂😂😂😂

    Thanks for the awesome lesson! Will definitely use these. One thing I wanted to mention - Your floor tom; it sounds like either the channel on your mixer or the mic is being overloaded in places. You may be aware of this already, just wanted to let you know it's noticeable in case you wanted to fix it. Keep up the awesome job mate. Cheers!

      Huffenagle yeah the mic tends to flop over on the floor tom. I need to get a more stable bracket for it. Glad you like he lesson though dude

    Hey great video. So I recently have been getting back into drums, I'm a guitarist by nature but always loved playing drums and in not to shabby. But my question is what kind of toms are those. Mine have long shells on them and they have to sit angled towards me. I really like your style kit where the toms are more flat. What do they call that style. Thank you. I definitely will subscribe

    When doing the fast kicks, are you using a heel toe technique or what? I’m having trouble getting my kicks to be that articulate

    • @AlexRibchester
      @AlexRibchester  4 роки тому +1

      Slide technique. I did a video years ago about it. Check it out, you might find it useful mate.

    Hay Alex is there any diffrence between a clean cymbal and a dirty cymbal? Or does it just look preety'er?

    • @MrMirks-lq1ti
      @MrMirks-lq1ti 6 років тому

      Toby Young it has a slightly deeper or dryer sound when they are dirty! If they are clean you can hear the higher pitch in it.
