I am going to cut my budget a tad and try to buy one of your mugs to support you...plus, the Beatle's logo is very cool! Thanks so much for the efforts and hard work for an old man!
Matt...you rock my world. Thank You! for putting The Association on your new design! I loved them back in the day & still contend that they were one of the most underrated bands.
Matt, I'd like to see you do a history of Country Joe & The Fish and Joe McDonald's solo career. C.J. & The Fish were a true counterculture band and Joe as a solo act put out some great music. Only a couple of solo performers at Woodstock had the entire audience in the palm of their hand and Joe McDonald was one of them and he was a star in the documentary. As big as C.J. & The Fish were, most people today don't know about them and their music almost never gets played on satellite or terrestrial radio. It could be an opportunity to not only talk about their music but to do a deep dive into a culture which made big changes, even though it was a very small part of the Boomer generation.
I was told that asking people to watch and interact with ads would get you kicked out of monetization, but that was before YT got desperate I guess. I've been here since 2006 and a lot changes. Hope Apple and the Monkees/Columbia Pictures/Sony etc. don't sue for use of their trademarked logos. Good luck!
I'll buy some things before you get multiple 'cease and desist' letters Matt ... some of these lawyers that oversee late and current musicians estate's are legally 'trigger happy' ... 🤔
Matt, I love the mugs but my wife always breaks all my favorite coffee mugs, she loads and unloads a dishwasher as if our china was made from armor plated steel.
I always stay through the ads if the host is actually doing them. I always suspected that would help somehow. Reading the comments, i too was curious about using official band trademarked logos, as well as the original Yesterday and Today album cover, though I would suspect that UA-cam's legal and merchandising teams would have to approve all merch and would have not allowed it if it was a problem. I still ordered a multi-band mug just in case it becomes rare.
I really like your tshirt with so many 60s band names on it, but no Beatles?? I am guessing it is because there is already so much merchandise with the Beatles name on it. You will soon have a full time business here!
The band logo mug and t-shirt look cool… except that you’ve possibly opened yourself up to 21 different trademark infringement cases. The Jimi Hendrix estate is particularly litigious, so be careful. Also, I would be cautious not to say it’s a “Beatles” t-shirt you’re selling. Perhaps say it’s “Beatles-inspired” or just don’t mention the “B” word at all. This merch might be more costly for you than it will be for your followers. 😉
Yes, I was thinking the same thing. The Monkees logo is a trademark of a huge conglomerate and the Monkees themselves had to license use of it when they toured, from what I heard.
Matt, I tried to buy some merch, but I got hung up on a bait-and-switch. When I tried to select my payment method (under "Choose a payment method and enter your payment details"), I selected the "Mastercard" logo, and continued but, in the end, I was being forced to go through PayPal. However, I don't have a PayPal account. So, I had to cancel. What bothered me was that I was allowed to select a credit card, but then later forced to use PayPal. What the heck? This is probably the fault of the company that handles the merch purchases. I just wanted to register a complaint. (I may sign up for PayPal just so I can buy some merch, and then cancel the account after I receive my merch. *sigh*)
sent you a separate message to say i had just joined patreon - i am old and sometimes can not figure out how things work on the computer - forfive me for my slow trip here
Holy lawsuits, Batman! I love this channel, but that merch is flirting with legal disaster, blatantly using trademarked logos for profit. A smaller UA-cam channel could maybe slip under the radar, but I think this channel attracts enough attention that someone could cause real trouble for you.
Pet Sounds makes me Smile! Great pun!
I love my T shirt, coffee mug and cap. Thanks for the great designs, Matt!
Very attractive designs Matt.
Have you considered a turntable mat, Matt, with the PGTS logo on it?
Seems to me that this would be a perfect fit!
Great suggestion. I will see if that item is available!
FAB Merch!!! Just got my order last week👍 Very Happy with the quality of the products Matt👌Thank You✌️

This is awesome Matt. Will be ordering for sure.

They are on my very long list! It is a shame they almost none of their music gets played anywhere.

When are you going to interview Ann Moses from Tiger Beat? I'm just now reading her book, and she and this channel were meant to be together.
I will look into that!
How come no Beatles logo on the mouse mats and tee shirts?.....And PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do a series on "The Move"!!!!
There is an option of the Beatle logo on a tshirt for sure. I still have to add a mouse pad🙂

Thanks. I know nothing about the inner workings of UA-cam. @@hv1225
Hi Matt, nice merch! Are you delivering to Europe?
There is a production house in Europe so it is likely you can get some.
@@popgoesthe60s52 Great, ordered some shirts!

Matt love the merch do you ship to 🏴
The fulfillment company has production facilities all over so you may have to test the site to see if one is able to complete an order.
