Michele is also in an Italian band called Temperance, which I think is signed to Napalm Records. For some of their albums, they were signed to Scarlet Records.

For future reference @OldSkuleNerd "ch" in that part of the world is pronounced with a hard 'K' sound. So Michele is actually pronounced "Mikell." My Hungarian uncle's sir name was Kovach, and yeah, it was pronounced Kovak.
Michele is an Italian name, therefore it's pronounced "Mikele". The "i" like "I-taly", the two "e"s each of them like "E-lvenpath". Or like the "ele" in "Television".
It aggravated me when OSN kept mispronouncing his name. Once is forgivable.
Kids these days don't even know Michele Placido. Also Takeshi Kovacs would disapprove the Kovach/k thing.
I get a lot of Pirates of the Caribbean vibes from this band. I love them and their songs are so amazing. And Love the ship they are on. Looks just as cool as the Black Pearl. Can imagine in a Pirates movie where Black Pearl and Their ship would race to see which sails fastest. And VoA would be able to control the storms as they are Masters of the Hurricanes.

Michele's name is pronounced "Mi-KELL-eh". It's a masculine name in Italian, despite it looking like the American name of Michelle.
I've only just discovered these guys and will go as far and say i enjoy them better than...night wish..since marko left not the same band .....
VoA is so far my biggest positive surprise of a band I didn't know about at all when i got the live tickets (Eluveitie was the previous nr 1). I went on a kind of ridiculous spending spree recently and bought tickets to 12 shows and their show with Xandria was one of them. Tiny venue, not even a fence in front of the stage so i was like a meter or so away from Michele and Clementine most of the time, but they sure know how to capture a crowd even in a small club. Left with several of their records from the merch stand.
Wow I didn't notice the island was the same!!
So this must mean all the songs are connected?
