You could just use Fur or, as you said, the Fine Clothes, but with the Saturalia set you're getting the gloves, shoes and hat to boot-maximum warmth, minimal weight. Perfect for storing and swapping out as needed.

Kinda annoying that they didn't give the horses stables. They had enough sense to consider where they go when they're not using them but they didn't consider having them stay at stables especially if you have Heathfire?
Get the mod convenient horses! You can do lots of new things with them but on top of that, you can tell them where their new home is and they will go there when you you aren’t using them
@@3tch4lk4n true. As far as i can tell the only horse that does kinda spawn back is shadowmere and its still not at the stables but rather at the falkreath sanctuary but atleast he has a respawn point.
horses in this game are a mess. Horrible control and turning and lazy management mechanics. The mounted combat (which was added long after release) is simply a meme

I like the Dwarven horse. The Daedric horse is good to have when you travel to Solstheim since you can summon it when you need it. There aren't any horses in Solstheim that I know of so either Arvak or the Daedric horse are good to have when you need to get up those steep mountains.
yeah but unfortunately using a keybind for it always places the spell in left hand which forces you to open favorite menu or inventory if you want to switch to dual wield. For that reason alone i don't use summoned horses, i just mount a regular horse whenever i fast travel because the favorite menu swaping is just too annoying on the long run.
@@7bracket7 its not fixable like this, its hardcoded in the game engine. You are using identical unenchanted weapons or you are trolling. Some mods use a workaround with a weapon menu but that's about it.
Everyone needs the convenient horses mod, I keep seeing comments about the wild horses going back to where you found them instead of a stable or about how they like certain horses because you can summon them but with convenient horses you can summon ANY of your horses with a horn, you can give them a certain place/home to go when you aren’t using them, you can level them up, tell them how much to haul, loot or gather things while riding and sooooo much more. I literally could never play vanilla Skyrim again because of that mod lol, I’m pretty positive it also makes the horses automatically faster than vanilla

The Dwarven Horse being essential immediately puts it into first place for me so I don't have to worry about it getting killed while I'm out adventuring. I just wish it came with some saddle bags or a dwarven chest attached to its side.
I was hoping the black horse would fit my characters vibe but that grey spotted one seems to fit the nightingale aesthetic a bit more since my shadowmeres textur has been replaced by one of the vanilla horses textures likely due to mod fuckery
The Daedric horse functions like arvok it lasts for 60 seconds if you don't ride it so basically it's a combat Ally or a damage sponge but the minute you mount the horse the timer pauses and starts back up when you dismount
I personally mod my game where the horses are essential and can't die especially if you are low level and haven't found the unicorn yet and I have one mod that makes horses have commands and hold stuff especially if you move, it's called convenient horses. But the unicorn is my favorite one, my warriors always ride it no matter what weapon I use
There us a mod that conjures 5 different horses for use. They work just like a conjure familiar and try to follow you everywhere. They provide some good humor sometimes. So I would use these and Arvark, that way I don't always have a horse underfoot in the game. Nice video

You said the wild horses are no different than Vanilla horses. Actually there is a difference: Vanilla horses run away from combat. Whereas the AE Wild (tamed) horses will rush in, attack, and tank enemies, making them infinitely more useful than Vanilla regular horses.
Where do the wild horses go if you change mounts? The unicorn returns to the College so do the coloured ones go to specific locations or remain where you last rode them like the Dwemer horse or Shadowmere?
So, my biggest issue with horses is them getting killed by dragons, or other mobs in the wild. Other than the Daedric horse, do any of these horses help with that problem?

Didn't get review key, pretty sure they blacklisted me after critisizing Dean on twitter, and to be honest didn't like the beta much, it's just a generic survival game, with some of the worse ai I have seen and a really weird progression system, also not a fan of it high requirements to play system wise. Pretty game but boring

I have a PS5 and I’ve found that there is NOT a way to keep your horse confined to any stable. You will just have to keep it in obvious areas in or around the city… always remember where you got it from first though, because those locations are where they tend to go…

I'm playing on ps4 with no mods as well and I have the same problem. The game freezes at random points and crashes sometimes when I fast travel to certain places. I also get some infinite loading screens and in some cases when I was in a city everything would glitch out and the textures would become seriously messed up. All of the above started happening at some point, before which everything worked perfectly, so I imagine it's one of two things; Either some new update messed it up, or my character has completed a lot of cc content and the game has trouble loading and managing all of it.
@@shqozz I feel you... I guess the only thing we can do is wait for a fix by Bethesda (hopefully they'll fix this). In the meantime, I just try to find ways to get around the glitches and so far it's working. For example, I've figured out some things that usually cause the game to crash and I avoid doing those, or make a quicksave before doing them. Also when the city is glitched out I believe it can be fixed if you save and then reload and it will be back to normal (I think). I hope this advice is helpful. Divines be with you bro

You could be a bit more clear about them being mods tho and unavailable for switch players. I think it should be in the courtyard at the College of Winterhold. The Dragonborn (you) mentioned this in their journal, it goes like this: “A wildlife scholar was able to track down and verify the existence of a Unicorn. Using information that i found in his journal, i located the Unicorn, tamed it, and claimed it as my own. If i need to find it again, it will be at the College of Winterhold courtyard.”

That is the reason why when i use unicorn in survival, it almost never stop sprinting. Thought it was a bug. Thanks for the information.
Arvak is by far the best mount. No other mount can traverse Solstheim or Black Reach and that comes in so very handy.
Get the convenient horses mod and you can summon any of your horses

I also get some infinite loading screens and in some cases when I was in a city everything would glitch out and the textures would become seriously messed up. All of the above started happening at some point, before which everything worked perfectly, so I imagine it's one of two things; Either some new update messed it up, or my character has completed a lot of cc content and the game has trouble loading and managing all of it.
@@kostasz6258 yes i have axactly this, and it reallys pisses me of i really loved playing the AE upgrade and now its Just almost unplayable on the ps5
@@shqozz I feel you... I guess the only thing we can do is wait for a fix by Bethesda (hopefully they'll fix this). In the meantime, I just try to find ways to get around the glitches and so far it's working. For example, I've figured out some things that usually cause the game to crash and I avoid doing those, or make a quicksave before doing them. Also when the city is glitched out I believe it can be fixed if you save and then reload and it will be back to normal (I think). I hope this advice is helpful. Divines be with you bro

I think it should be in the courtyard at the College of Winterhold. The Dragonborn (you) mentioned this in their journal, it goes like this: “A wildlife scholar was able to track down and verify the existence of a Unicorn. Using information that i found in his journal, i located the Unicorn, tamed it, and claimed it as my own. If i need to find it again, it will be at the College of Winterhold courtyard.”

Unicorn has almost 700 stamina at level 50 so unlimited sprinting.
