Asuka us a really interesting character ti nerf ir buff because all they have to do is change how many of a given card are in which test case or like move cards from one test case to another. Like nerfing gobou's asuka would be as simple as taking cards like the 5 cubes that count down and replace them with a less useful one like the mana regen one or something or even keep it an attack and have it be the lightning card Arcsys doesn't seem to care about nerfing or buffing though as much as they care about making sure every move actually gets used (at least according to what they say in patch notes) so they might buff the other test cases or give asuka a bonus for switching between test cases. Maybe they can get stale or something and his mana will start draining. Or maybe even simpler than that. Maybe just make it so that when e runs out of cards in a test case there's a cooldown before it reshuffles. Or even a recovery. Like he has to use change test case to refill. Doing that could be simple and if you need to nerf him even more, you can just increase recovery frames on change test case. Maybe just do that anyways
I like how they did the health mechanic for balance, but this game needs to tone down the damage if they don't want to nerf Asuka directly by changing up his cards

Happy Chaos but he uses a gun just for shits and gigles.
daisuke really wanted some yugioh representation in strive huh
Asuka us a really interesting character ti nerf ir buff because all they have to do is change how many of a given card are in which test case or like move cards from one test case to another. Like nerfing gobou's asuka would be as simple as taking cards like the 5 cubes that count down and replace them with a less useful one like the mana regen one or something or even keep it an attack and have it be the lightning card
Arcsys doesn't seem to care about nerfing or buffing though as much as they care about making sure every move actually gets used (at least according to what they say in patch notes) so they might buff the other test cases or give asuka a bonus for switching between test cases. Maybe just do that anyways
jiyuna you would never lie to me
Never.
I like how they did the health mechanic for balance, but this game needs to tone down the damage if they don't want to nerf Asuka directly by changing up his cards
It was not the same with Zato? like Gobou was the only one winning with him so there was no point nerfing him. At any rate Gobou needs a nerf
Zato was EVERYWHERE lmao
Who would have thought that if you have a character with screen control projectiles in a game with not that much mobility would turn out to be good. I'm surprised
Dang, we found the smartest guy in the comments right here
yeah the thing is, he is hard as fuck
Asuka looked at Nine Phantom's homework, threw in his own derivatives, and called it a day
@@Bluzlbee Pretty much. Tp, fairy, electric ball...Imo, they should have gone with better spells instead of the multitude of different cubes but like all his staff spells are pretty cool. At least, you can play more with your mobility in BB and the unique stuff u can do. Idk this kind of mage type character should be about adapting to the right spell at the right scenario. Most likely they gonna change the auto import spell I guess.
theyll have that man but god forbid we have invuln on heavy DP!!!! Im a zato main and Im sad theyre gone
I swear Im not a tierwhore bro I played him since release
Same
You're move! *Sick beats* Yu-Gi-Oh, it's time to d d d d ddddDuel! *The sick beat drops hard!*
The thing is, the only person I’ve seen who can make Asuka look this good is Gobou. Even high level celestial Asukas are nowhere near this good. Still rather go against Asuka than HC.
Sol out here playing gen 1 duel monsters vs This xyz pendulum tech monster lol
I haven't played since he came out because sf6, but this looks INSANE to deal with. Oh you don't like happy chaos? Hold my beer
If I was in Mocchis situation i would have killed myself on that stage
Don't do it, bro.
Bro Mochi defense is insane, im not a GGS player but idk what even ia going on 😂
this is why I only play Strive stoned and drunk, ain't no way I can take this game seriously
Floor 9 asuka is not gonna be doing this to you dont worry
I will complain about Asuka to the ends of the earth, but nobody can deny how badass he is design wise and how cool it is we finally can play "That Man" in a Guilty Gear game.
