I’d disagree. I follow the blazers, and I’d say banton and reath aren’t playoff caliber rotation minutes. Banton would struggle to find minutes behind Trent, green, and Middleton. Reath can’t protect the basket, and that’s Milwaukee’s biggest need. With Lopez and portis already on the team, they don’t need another floor stretching big, they need someone who can protect the basket when lopez is on the bench

From what I have heard is he has really good work ethic and he seems like a tough kid, even when his shot is not falling he dosent seem to get rattled. Both of those traits will get players far in the NBA just look at Giannis. The Bucks have actually had a history of hitting on draft picks in historically bad draft classes, in 2000 they took Michael Redd in the second round who I would argue was the best player in that draft, and then 2013 we drafted a skinny Greek kid at 15, who is on pace to go down as one off if not the greatest powe forwards in NBA history, for all we know Johnson could become the best player in this 2024 draft. I have seen people who are of the opinion that had Johnson gone to college he may have been a lottery pick in 2024. Plus Doc Rivers has had a history of developing guards into really good players, Tracy McGrady in Orlando, Rajon Rondo in Boston, Tyrese Maxey in Philadelphia, and SGA in his rookie season in LA before they traded him. Worst thing would be for the Bucks to trade him and he goes on to dominate the league in the future, he should be untouchable in my opinion, I have a gut feeling he is going to be a very good player in the future. It's a feeling I have never felt about a Bucks rookie before.

@@rileymcphee9429 If that happens that happens but I personally would have a really hard time seeing that negotiation settling that way. Before the season I would have agreed actually but the market shifts. We’ve seen Schroeder go for 2nds now so that’s the standard they’ll use in negotiations.
Then if another high value name goes, that will set the standard. So on so forth haha.

if bucks consider giving up their 31 1st round pick (that is so valuable) to the bulls i would trade middy and portis for lavine and jalen smith...i think smith next year can be the starting center for the bucks and he has a very good contract ....middy and 1st pick only for lavine not worth it...
