My husband was stationed in Bilioxi Ms and we lived off of base and I loved it. The people and the scenery makes your forget the humidity and the heat lol.

It looks like y'all had a blast. Where I live, local regulations limit me on what I want to do. So, I do what I can do, and live vicariously through homesteading videos for all the other stuff.

I have been catching up on all the videos I miss while I'm working. I finally finished this one!! Great video. You should have told Doug that BJ made his room off grid. Lisa, WAY TO GO! She is inspiring. Then Jonathan came on the screen! I enjoy his channel and the chats on the live streams. Thanks for sharing us all the other you tubers that came. I will check out the ones I don't know.

I love watching your videos!! I hate I didn't know this was going on. I live on the MS Gulf Coast, and I too have Fibromyalgia, Lupus and other health issues. You have been such a motivation to me and I love your books!! I have learned so much, thank you!!
I'm 100% off western meds..
Some herbs that helped with my lupus are;
Evening primrose oil pills
And
Ashwagandha pills!

I have lived in the tropics, and i much prefer colder climates...
my reasoning is this: without electricity, in hot climates, you just FRY...
in cool climates you can get firewood and keep the house warm, snuggling a fire is the best thing ever!, plus outside you can keep layers on to get warm, in hot climate, once you get to your skivvies, people start staring at you o.O heehee heee

Tawra, before you buy a house or homestead in Mississippi, spend a few days in the summer, late July, early August! Mosquitoes, humidity, and heat!
