i put a 5 shelf bookcase in the small space behind my bedroom door then i put a 3 shelf bookcase on top of it and attached it with "L" brackets to make it taller. I went to Dollar Tree and bought some of their bigger baskets to put on the shelves. I filled them with tylenol, pain meds, cold meds, first aide items, extra vitamins etc. you would be surprised how much you could fit in a small space
I just saw your video taken after the hail storm. Dear Tawra, I'm so sorry. This was my preaching point to my husband. It worked. God continues to use you even in your disaster. Praying for you.🙏🏻
My niece just had a new baby. She came home from the hospital to no water! For 36 hours, the 3 surrounding communities were without water. Her other 2 children are young girls. Her husband said that it was no big deal!! Luckily Grandma educated that young husband on how disease spreads and that the woman in the family can not "just go stand outside".
I think things are finally starting to change. Yesterday morning after a doctor's appointment, I went down to the stores and the Starbucks drive thru was completely empty, but Aldi was packed. First time I ever saw that.
I'll bet you are super pleased to have video of your beautiful outdoor artistry before the hail storm. The decorations inside are very inspiring as well. Blessings on you all.
Great tips as usual. I'm super thankful for our stockpile now that it's more organized. So easy to replace items as used when on special. The other important reason for stocking up is that we've saved $100s & possibly $1000s by buying things only when on special & preferably half price or less. Tawra, your decorations are gorgeous!🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨
Desk turned out super cute!!!! I love it in the black! I really love black furniture. And that makes the fall decor pop nicely! ❤ You make things cozy and festive! How many bins do you have for each holiday for storage? Do you have a holiday storage video. I can't remember. You are so good at switching holidays!
So I’ve lived in my new house newly built for 7 years. Never seen many bugs. All of a sudden our guest bathroom was flooded with these tiny black beetle type bugs. They would appear and die so for weeks I was cleaning up dead bugs! I kept checking my food closet nearby for signs they were coming from it and they weren’t. I thought they were coming up around the plumbing through the sand and concrete floor. Finally I saw some under the sink and I pulled everything out from underneath the sink and it turned out they were hatching out of a box of rid-ex yeast that you flush down the toilet for the septic system! It had probably been under the sink for 4-6 months! So I just flushed the remains of the box and the bug! I have purchased this brand of septic yeast for over 30 years and have never had any like this happen!!
Your flowers in the background are really gorgeous. I stockpile because of all the things. I also stockpile because I now know that the amount of money that I will have in the future (in October my available money goes down by 1/3), and in January will be cut even further.
I think you are right! We have no idea what will happen. We might end up eating just bread and beans, but we won't starve. We enjoy gardening and I can up the excess. Quite a bit of tomatoes products and veggies in my pantry.
When I was growing up we had a half bath in back of house. In addition to all the areas you mentioned we stored food and extras in that half bath. My mom was rea😢creative about where she could find and store places
We had a tornado in cleveland ohio a few weeks ago. Many without electricity from4 days to 2 weeks. Be prepared. Water and food. A optional way to cook

#1, yes, there will be civil unrest, and only God knows what all will occur. There are 2 hot wars ongoing right now that are concerning. Also, I will never forget the limits of canned goods and other needs I experienced during the plandemic!

A guaranteed #1 something is going to happen.I had a family member tell me today that the Lord will take care of his people and I said yes but he also gave us common sense to prepare for like bad weather loss of jobs are all people stupidity you have to prep I would rather have the food stuck back not need it then need it and not have it have a blessed day
Aldi Chex cereal makes great bread crumbs. I throw in meat loaf or have made breaded chicken . My husband called it Chex mix chicken because he said it tasted like it. 😂 and probably because I didn't crush it up all the way. 😂
We live in Michigan and last week an electric grid was not working and our town, nearby towns had no electricity! If it had been winter we would have had a harder time. The next day we didn't have water! We do stockpile water so we can use the toilet and use it for other things?
I'm getting baby formula and some baby food to take to my daughter's when I go back to visit here soon. When he was born we were having trouble finding the formula.
For years, weve tried to stock one can of meat based spaghetti product per person for 5 days. We can be between snow bound and prefer to stay at home for a good 5 days; and sometimes without power. Batteries and adequatr flashlights are a fall prep item..... For years we ran off some discolored, heavily scented tealight tupe camdles melted to the bottom of saucers; gotta love clearance. July to September and beyond is when weve traditionally stocked the flojr, mthe sugars, and all the things which make things. In part for the holidays but also in case we're home for a few days at a time during the winter. Making and baking things fills the house with comfort smells on cold days and gives you options for not grocery shopping any more than you have to also.
Thank you Tawra and Mike for all your wonderful advice and encouragement. My question is where do you buy the cans of cooking fuel and what is the name of the specific brand you were showing? Thank you so much.
I believe that anyone with one eye and half a brain should know. However, a lot of people are too lazy to pay attention to what is going on. Wake up and see what’s happening around you!!!
I'm fascinated by all the people who don't have a clue. How did 2020 not wake you up? Keep listening to leftist media...they love you and would never lie to you. 😂
I actually have! I went into Sam's Club and bought Canola Oil and looked all over the product for the Best Buy date. There was none. I went up to the customer service desk and the gal checked as well. She couldn't find any date and thought that was very strange. I will be more aware and check each product I buy from now on. Why do you think that may be happening?
Some times the date is etched in to the cap or bottle itself. If it is etched it will not have any color and you may have hold the item at different angles to see it. Sometimes you can feel it if you gently run your fingers over the bottle. I only know this because I worked at a grocery store for 20 years and sometimes I would have to check the dates on items.
This is a technical comment. I have to use captions due to a hearing loss. I cannot read the captions on your channel due to the sale information on the bottom of your screen.
I love your channels

Your decorations are beautiful. I am a very plain decorator, but your house is my envy.

Seems that acts of god follow your family around. Great that you took the lessons of being prepared.
Being a Florida native, I’ve been through my share of Hurricanes, tropical depression/storms, etc. You keep stocked up on the necessities.
We held up our thrifted legless sofa with cases of campbell’s soup when I was a student

in japan, they put dried hot peppers in the bags of rice to keep bugs away. also keep it refrigerated during the summer.

Has anyone else noticed that a lot of products now do not have use by dates on them anymore?
Write a purchase date on them. That way you can still rotate through them but they do last a few years in your cupboard
