We've experienced a lot of different wildlife here at our rural Southern Illinois farm, bobcats, baby bobcats, deer, raptors, turkey and much more, but never saw a standoff between turkey's and a Canada Goose! The reason Canadians seem so polite is that years ago we collectively agreed to channel all of our anger into our geese and let them loose upon unsuspecting Americans.
A completely fine job all of you have done. Geese are frightening on any given day. When they're guarding a nest, it makes them just plain dangerous! 😂🦃🦃

It was the ancient wizard Tim Horton who cast the spell drawing all the evil from Canadians and casting it into the goose which thenforth was known as the great Cobra Chicken.

Despite the outcome turkeys are actually more dangerous and capable of winning an actual fight but geese have crazy intimidation perks so most creatures just stay away from them.

Geese are very tenacious birds for sure! That's why some farms use them for 'guard geese' with chickens and so forth. They are tough birds! Turkeys are chicken, lol

Those are not toms they are hens. Just because it has a beard does not mean it's a tom. If that had been a tom the goose would know what real pain is. I have a wild flock that lives close to a pond in my yard. The goose doesn't stay long when he finds them. I call him black death for a reason lol.
