Nice!!!! Boy, the geese at our tiny lake sure were making a lot of noise today. We have four ducks and a eagle too. There was a pair of swans here but I did not see them. Enjoy your part of nature.
I love these videos! We have a pair at our pond, and long story short, they're working on their second nest for this year. Every year that we've lived here either a predator got the eggs before they hatched or the pond flooded badly. So we're heading to stores today to get what we need to build them a simple platform. :D
Yes they have lost many chicks and eggs over the years here! But now that they know to sleep on the raft, their success has been much better! Best of luck! Thanks
Can I ask you if it’s save to remove the eggs of Canadian geese from the pool area to my backyard. The residents in my neighborhood can’t stand geese and want to call the geese police to remove them. But I want to protect the eggs and safely relocate them. Do you think it is possible? And how? I need advice ASAP please! 🙏
Well we can't give wildlife advice but it sounds like you are in a pickle. I'm sure there are federal regs regarding taking of eggs of waterfowl. I don't know what would happen if you removed the whole nest and moved it. Maybe if momma saw and followed you it could work. But best of luck whatever happens!

They already removed it. And poor geese were 😡 mad that someone took their eggs. I came too late. 😞
6 out of 7 not bad. 🐣🐣🐤🐤🐥🐥🦢
I agree! Stay tuned, I have to put an update vid to see how many survived and how they are doing. Thank you.
Hey Kapper I’ve been wondering about the little baby gooses
Have you ever had your pond trapped for turtles? I'm just asking cause the turtles will eat those baby geese
No, never really had much of a turtle problem. Most of them are not big enough for the baby geese, but maybe some big snappers could eat them.
Duck😊
I had one pair of geese have 5 babies this spring, but haven't seen them since the first few days. No idea where they went or what happened to them??
Well, I'll just say it has been a very interesting ride for us, and a learning experience to boot. Watch for part 2 today, might give you some hope! ?
It will be here before you know it them little fellers will be flying north or south depending on the season
I wish I knew how to protect them from coins and hawks. Any ideas ?
No idea. But after seeing a few hatches now I do think that some of the parents are much smarter at protecting the little ones. Thanks.
OH MY GOD!!!! I juts want to grab them and toss them in the water!
lmao, wait for part 2!!! LOL Coming out today!! Amazing stuff! And if you like them please share them we really appreciate that!!
I guess the sides are too high? They just don't seem to get they should go for the opening
oh they will figure it out in part 2!~ lol
Mama can't seem to coax them out!
Nope.. I think the 'born leader' of the pack was in that 7th egg that did not hatch! lol
Do you have turtles? I want to do this but im afraid the turtles will take it over
Yes we have turtles, they don't really bother the eggs. Not sure if big snappers have got any chicks though over the years.
Omg not another Canadian goose video, basically annoying flying rats. We can send you truck loads if you want then.
Well, seeing how we are not in the major flyway, they are a treat here!
