This series of videos is really awesome. I have a question about where you were able to find that transmission. I have the exact same setup for the car and transmission but am having trouble finding a 6spd? Where should I order from?
Would like to speak to u if possible. Took my 01 Jetta with blown engine apart saved everything had ecu immobilizer delete saved complete wire harness. Installed everything in my 03 jetta both cars had 2.0l pedal in, trans installed all bolts and parts new with luk clutch kit wired pedal with 53 relay. Come to start car and nothing just a click can not figure out what im missing. Plz help. Thank you so much for videos. Only connector missing is Cruise control from car to switch. Great videos thank you u have helped more than any other videos or forums ive found keep up great work u are appreciated for sure.
Just to be sure, I would turn the engine over by hand (19mm socket on the end of the crank) and make sure timing is right and the engine turns over easily. If it does, I would next retrace my 53 wiring and make sure that’s correct. That’s not a n issue I’ve run across and the symptoms don’t really match anything commonly missed on the trans swap
Can I have a link to the 09a to 02j swap? I found the second and third video of yours for that but can't find the first video :( and do u happen to have vids for the bew engine?
I might not understand your question. I have VCDS loaded on my laptop so I can read, clear and code the modules. In VCDS you can do timing and IQ on TDIs but it’s not really tuning. You can check parameters of a tune though.
That is a good idea and must be done if the mounts are bad but I have a lot of customers that are on a tight budget, if something doesn't need to be replaced, they need to save the money. You are on point thought, while you have them out/off, its a great time to replace them.

Sorry there isn’t a specific BEW video but one of the wiring videos does include the cruise control pin for BEW

Don’t you sud jest replacing the front and the trans mount while you have everything out.
