i got the same kuryakyn kinetic mini boards in black for my vulcan s cafe, thanks for sharing the details in your other video, they're awesome! couldnt be any happier, thanks
That's awesome! Glad the videos helped. I love the boards too!! I may change my setup to extended reach position so will have to adjust the angles of the boards a little bit. All part of the fun of tinkering with the Vulcan.
I just added the Booster Plug, the same shorty levers in black & red, and the bar end mirrors. It feels like a whole new experience when I ride now and I love it.
That's awesome man, I agree whole new experience so much fun to mod the bike and then ride and feel the difference. My last mod will be new front blinkers and then hopefully I am done with mods!
Could you get a longer screw to keep the bar end weights? That way you get better mirrors with no added vibrations? Best of both worlds? All amazing mods, bike look great.
I did the same setup, I'm a bit to big for it I guess, the mirrors hit me in the knees when doing low speed maneuvers. I'm going to use longer bolts and run the bolts through the original bar ends and play around with it to see what I can manage
That's awesome yea they do hit the knees at full turn for me as well..Im going to rotate them so they are above the bars. Good luck on the mod and ride safe!
@@Kamdorian I got some M8x110mm bolts, probably 30mm longer than I needed, but spun the mirrors upwards and installed them with the stock bat end weights and it's all good now. I don't like the look as much as below the handlebars, but function over form for me.
Improved visibility for sure. With stock mirrors I was seeing the sides of my shoulders and arms. With these bar ends I see more behind me and they vibrate much less than stock. Definitely worth the change.
@@zachrat9083 na not yet. I don't ride in the rain and my bike is stored in my garage so haven't gotten the caps yet. Def will soon to hide the holes though and complete the blacked out look.
@@Kamdorian Please post a video on it because I really want to get these exact mirrors and complete it with that! I’ve seen dozens of people talking about fixing it on Reddit and UA-cam.
How're the levers holding up now as it's been a year roughly since this video. I'm thinking of buying them as it really has a nice esthetic look. Thanks
Didn’t you have any visibility problems with right rear mirror? It’s hard for me to use it since the right hand is moving the throttle up and down, and i need to somehow look for the best visibility by moving my body
I didn't have any problems. I have them angled in a way I can see everything behind me. You can also try to flip them to be mounted above the bars and that should improve visibility for sure. Good luck and ride safe!
Yes it is the bilt! Love the jacket, so breathable and the removable inner layer def keeps warm in colder weather. I got the black jacket, was debating to get the white jacket but figured it would look dirtier over time.
@@Kamdorian might be the location, I’m in the Netherlands. But no worries, I’ll figure it out. Got the Fenrir mirrors coming in Friday, can’t wait to put them on, also the arrow exhaust is coming next week. I traded in my Yamaha Tracer 7 for the Vulcan S, no regrets do far!
Yes there should be a threaded hole inside the bars after you remove the stock bar end weights. Check the 6 minute mark of this video ua-cam.com/video/MnQjeLdtQIg/v-deo.html it shows the bracket and screwing in. Remove your bar end weights first to check what the inside of the bars looks like first then order these mirrors.
@@Kamdorian No. Lane splitting is illegal in NJ. That would be lane filtering to go the front. I don't trust doing that bc NJ drivers hold grudges and try and hit you. When you come to a stop always set your bike to the left or right of the rear bumper ahead of you and keep an eye out for the vehicle behind you coming in to hot and if so you can easily pull off to get out of the target zone.
@@forrestnome9521 yeaaa lane splitting is illegal and I never do it for that exact reason that cagers hold grudges and go wild road raging. I see what you mean now always good idea to have escape route so staying on left or right of bumper means I can easily pull out if I see a cager coming fast on my rear. Thanks again and ride safe!
It’s funny I have a problem with my clutch sensor it’s been replaced 1x we now and it still stops working from time to time. I’m going to have it replace again so we’ll see
It's an airhawk seat cushion, yes it helps reduced the pain and numbness during long rides. I can ride for 1.5 hrs before any numbness starts. With stock seat only I would get numb after 45 min. There are also cheaper versions of it on Amazon.
@@neoneo4221 sorry man you right I should have included it in the video. you can always flip the mirrors to be above the bars and then you won't have any issues. Or you could return the mirrors to Amazon. Almost all mirrors that are installed below the bar will hit your knees or the tank at full turn. Good luck and ride safe my friend!

Could you get a longer screw to keep the bar end weights? That way you get better mirrors with no added vibrations? Best of both worlds? All amazing mods, bike look great.
It could be possible yes. However I have no issues with vibration. The weight of these bar end mirrors are close to the weight of the stock mirrors.

Looks clean. Did you see a big impact on the visibility with the new mirror setup? I'm debating.

You should practice going to the left side of the car in front of you at stops so when a cager comes a crashing in you have an escape route.

If you turn fully, the mirrors hit the legs ?
Sometimes yes if you fully turn the bars. I will probably change the mirrors to be mounted on top of the bars at some point.

Are your arms obstructing your view
Slightly at some angles but overall still have good visibility in rear. Also mounting them above the bar gives you even more visibility.
