Women are more likely to turn people down and tell them, "no, there are rules". I read a tip when trying to get something from a company on a phone line, keep ringing until you get a male assistant. They will sort it out. And I found it to be mostly true.
@@lucasbrunelle some do, although it’s difficult for us to stop fast no brake and such. They do banked track practices on that smaller track inside the velodrome but I have no clue when. Might be cool to get both bike and skates both practicing or racing at the same time on those tracks!
The first drone shot following the riders in the velodrome was a thing of beauty, also loved the night shot going through the town at the end. Weather is fairly poor in the UK at the moment so good to see someone enjoying warm balmy evenings!
Another dope video. That was a nice velodome. What up Lucas. Hope all is well with you. I think we have one here in Sarasota. Keep riding. One love bro. 🌀
Hey Lucas is this the velodrome where they do that track stand challenge? Also, when will they do Keirin race over there just like in Japan? Also, love the view of that stretch of shops at night.
That park sucks, as an outlaw I had a dilemma, I could say fuck the rules but I yielded and left because I have friends racing and don't want to disrupt what they're doing
@@lucasbrunelle the fellow seemed like a human, and reasonable...but yeah...I come across those types a good deal (just today in fact...but...it’s why ring a huge bell on my way by them).
Obviously if you are going to race track you have to ride a track bike but velodromes have road races too, and you are safe in a road bike as long as you don't ride on the step banking.
Hey man. Do you have any advice for taller riders? I play basketball, just came back from injury and have really loved biking as of lately. Do they have special mods for taller bikers? Or am I at a disadvantage. I am 6’7 with good legs and frame 😁 thanks my man.
Since I'm 6'3" I have to have better and more aerodynamic posture than usual, the bike fit is essential. Also I run my bikes smaller than recommended so I'm lower to the ground and the bike handles quicker. My seat height is technically too low as well. And my handlebars are 40 width when they should be 44

@@lucasbrunelle Got a GoPro Now. Found that DashWare works with gopro; however with hero 9 you have to extract the GPX using online software. That is no good because uploading a 4k video isn't the best idea. Looking for offline telemetry extractor now. May have to bust out and program my own extractor given I'm a software engineer.
@@Eric_Tennant I am doing it the hard way, still though, it'd be nice to have a desktop program that can do that, looks like they've discontinued the GoPro desktop app
Those rules all about liability BS but hey no harm no foul I would not care about those stupid rules, rules like those are for sheep to follow your a wolf ...not a sheep keep it real.... nice footage Lucas.
Retired Karen was not feeling the idea of drones haha

@@andrewnorris5415 good point, women seem way more comfortable telling people no, even if they come across as bitchy.
Lucas thank you for bringing light to our sport of inline speed skating! Please please please if you can film it some more!!
You got it, where can I film more? and are there inline speed skaters who shred traffic?

Standard GoPro mount, I'm running the GoPro 9 which has great stabilization

Amazing footage man, if she knew how dope it would come out she wouldn't mind it. Peace
Soooo true
never heard someone so set on following rules at a park lmao
You played Wild in the Streets by the Circle Jerks. You're my new favorite cyclist ever. Long live punk
Lucas: Is the on screen MPH done by your gopro?
I google it. Yep. Nice. Now I'm going to have to stop using my Crosstour camera. Going to cost a bit. All your fault Lucas.
Haha 💲💲💲 The speed overlay is actually done with Garmin Virb onto the GoPro footage. I wish GoPro recorded that, it would be a lot easier
