Matt once again you have earned another degree of respect. I appreciate your honesty about saying that "you don't have money to spend" that you put those tires on a credit card. I'll tell you, every time you get something new, I'm left wondering how in the heck does he have money to spend like that? lol. all I gotta say, don't break yourself on the sake of the channel, but it is quite exciting to be on this journey with you... great video by the way.

Do you know how to convert tire measurements to inches in width and height? Are you considering what this is going to to do your wheel bearings? If you change the height of the rear wheels, you are going to change the weight distribution of the vehicle which will affect the handling. Is your car so powerful that you just sit and spin the rear wheels when you punch it? I did something similar to where you are doing in my Camaro and it changed the characteristics of what the car does when the brakes are slammed on in an emergency situation. When you slam the brakes on going in the straight line with the stock tires, the car stays straight and comes to a stop. When I put on larger tires like you are doing, I slammed on the braked and because of the weight being shifted to the front to start with because of the increased height by even an inch in the rear, the car spun out. You keep saying you did a lot of math, Well I am interested in knowing what math you did exactly. If you want a car that handles better, then get a car that handles better. Don't take a car that is designed to handle the way it does and try to change that by as much as you are changing it by. Like you said, even the ZL-1 has only 305's in the rear. Why do you think the factory didn't put 315's on it? It's because it doesn't make sense from a safety point of view. That it why, in my humble opinion. These are what my experience was. YMMV.

Trading in my 19 Mustang GT for an 18 SS this Saturday due to engine issues within 100-miles. Didn't realize that it has run flats. Not happy about that. Tires on the 2018 Camaro are Goodyear Eagle 245/40ZR20 front and 275/35ZR20 rear, black wall, summer-only, run-flats. Salesman was clueless when I asked if there was room in the trunk for a spare if I switch to traditional tires. Since the vehicle is coming from another Chevy dealer and the had none on their lot, I wasn't able to personally confirm. Could you enlighten me? Thanks...

Hey Lethal. Was trying to decide the best tires for my car. I am most interested in being able to "dead hook" from a standstill. I was considering the Nitto NTO1 or NT555. Do you still standby the performance of the R888's, or have you since discovered another preference? Thanks for any help man. 2018 Camaro Zl1 stock.

Hi Matt, Yeah if those fit they will really look awesome and give you some added traction, I was thinking when you put the larger tire next to the one already mounted it was not a true comparison because half of the distance taller it will also raise your rear axle, if the tire is 1/4" taller then it will raise your car 1/8" thanks and Nice tires.

I have a 2018 Camaro 2ss. Does anyone else have a strange vibration at 55 56 miles an hour. I've been to the dealer about 10 times not exaggerating the car has had three rear ends and has 5,000 miles on it. I keep telling the dealer it's not the rear end because the vibration never changes it's always been the same since I bought the car it vibrates and makes a droning sound around 55 to 56 miles an hour. It only does it at that speed we have tried flushing the transmission balancing the wheels and tires and replacing the rear end nothing seems to help. The car is also an automatic. If anyone else has had this issue please let me know I would really appreciate it. Also I know it's not the torque converter problem because it only does it at that speed no matter what gear Im in even in manual mode.

I have a 2019 Camaro RS 1LE and I’m running 315/40/20 for the rears and I bought 275/40/20 for the fronts but didn’t fit so I ended up buying 255/45/20 for the fronts instead

It didn’t fit so you went with a taller tire?

@@Lethalgarage No I just went with stock for the fronts which is 245/40/20. I went slightly bigger with 255/45/20 but it was hitting my coilovers. I had to return them and just went stock, I'm running Toyo Proxes ST 3'S.
